Tam was a pretty normal guy, well aside from the fact that he wasn't fully human...and he had to steal for a living...and he had accidently killed a pretty powerful noble...but hey nobody's perfect right? After winding up in the wrong place at the wrong time, he falls through a roof and onto mage knight Lucien who takes him in what will happen? love?



Tam sprinted through the streets hearing the angry cries of the city guards as he passed, he cursed and swerved into an alleyway ducking and weaving as he tried to remember how he got into this mess.

Oh now he remembered his supposed client decided to pull a d**k move on him and backstab him, gods he hated humans.

Tam growled as he faced a dead end, he really hadn't wanted to reveal his true nature but the guy was such an a*****e that he couldn't help but try and shank the b*****d. Of course the guy had apparently wanted that because the moment he had revealed his true nature people began scream about that a beastchild and monster was here, and Tam had to leg it Gods he hated humans.

Glaring at the wall Tam took a running start and scrambled up the wall onto the roof heaving himself over the side before getting up and running again.

"Geez why do humans have to be such idiots, I swear you try to kill a guy who deserves it and people go nuts" Tam thought to himself leaping from one roof to next. Thinking he was fine stopped and crouched a bit running his hand through his shaggy brown hair. However it didn't last long when a rooftop guard noticed him.

"THERE HE IS THE ESCAPED BEASTCHILD!" "Awww hell" Tam said getting back up and running again, "Geez can't you give a guy a break already!? I mean the guy totally deserved it!" Tam called and then ducked with a yelp as an arrow went whizzing past his head. Not paying attention to where he was going and too busy trying to stay alive, he stumbled and went head over heels through the roof of the house he had been running on.

Tam hit the ground hard gasping and letting out a string of curses colorful enough to make a solider blush, before he could get his bearings his hands were pinned to the ground and a knife was put to his throat.

Amber eyes met gunmetal grey and Tam sucked in a breath the man, definitely a man holding him down was gorgeous. Black hair tied in a loose ponytail with rough stubble and wearing the uniform of the mage knights, the man was the very picture of a battle hardened knight.

Before Tam could comment on it, the man pressed the knife closer to his throat and snarled out "Who the hell are you"
