sebastian oakhart Name: Sebastian Oakhart Gender: 100% Pure Man Age: 26 Occupation pirate/smuggler but prefers to be called a "merchant"
positive charismatic | stubborn | charming | reliable | confidence negative cocky | vain | selfish | manipulative | flamboyant
Sebastian's youth is not something he likes to talk about, and it is pretty much unknown. All that is known is this: As a child one day he stowed away on a ship and never came back.
He is a man of the sea, who both loves and lives off the great Ocean. Sebastian is a infamous pirate. He has what seems to be an excellent sense for profit, and has succeeded immensely in his adventures. Since then he has moved on to the profession of smuggler, though he prefers to be called a "merchant". He has a home in Palisade though he is often away. His old housekeeper, Martha, runs the house for him and tries to keep her young master out of trouble...it doesn't work but she is ferocious with a broom.
The things he likes in life are threefold. First, he loves alcohol. Second, he loves women. And third, he loves the sea.
Appearance Brown of hair and green of eyes with a decent tan. He's five feet and ten inches (suffers slightly from a height complex) and strong. He has an earring in his left ear and a scar on his lip.
Sometimes clean-shaven and dashing, and sometimes rugged; it may appear that Sebastian is very lenient and dismissive of how he dresses, but the man always cares for appearances. Lately, he's been preferring the "dashing pirate captain" look...

SILJE with light and touch, of earth and wood you will bring him back from the seaSilje is always fretting about the safety of Sebastian. Whereas he is the sweet-talking flamboyant playboy, Silje is the modest maiden. She shies away from social situations, but finds herself forced into them as that is where her Chosen thrives.
Hang in there...

CAPTAIN'S LOGS June the 16th of the Year 1796,
A most unusual thing has come into my possession. It appears to be a deer carved from wood. If so then it is exquisitely made for the paint job is very realistic, almost as if it were a real deer. Though suffice to say, I have never seen a deer of such coloration. The only oddity is the yellow swirl that seems to twine around the piece. Sometimes I wonder if it glows faintly, but no, it must be a trick of my tired eyes and the candle light.
How did I come into the possession of this item? Well, that is a most interesting and engaging story that is doubtless entertaining but best left to another time. I can't spend all my time writing journals about myself, it would never end! I wonder how much it is worth?
Signed, Captain of the Marianne, Sebastian Oakhart

CAPTAIN'S LOGS July the 4th of the Year 1796,
Woke up today to the oddest thing, a deer, yes a deer of the sort with four cloven hooves and four legs, the very sort of thing that should not be found on a ship that has been in the middle of the sea for the past three months.
Needless to say, more than a little perplexed. Must find out why there is a deer in my quarters.
Signed, Captain of the Marianne, Sebastian Oakhart

CAPTAIN'S LOGS January the 14th of the Year 1796,
Today we find ourselves at sea once again. It feels as if I am returning home. Of course dearest Silje does not like the sea very much at all but she is too much of a sweetheart to complain. She feels my love of the sea through me as I feel her dread. It is odd, the connection we share. I wonder if there are perhaps explanations for such a bond but I have not yet checked out Taym's suggestion. Something about madams training deers seems a bit off to me. Maybe next time I return to port...
