Fūma Kotarō and Tsuruhime…
so, one person in another guild recently got a deck of tarot cards. she likes the art, and she does tarot reading. another guild member (a religious fanatic) comes along and basically says that she's going to get herself hurt. he and i start squabbling about it, and he's basically saying that i know nothing, and since i had a deck (cats got it), i'll get hurt too. all based off of one thing from one "friend". i told him that "event" sounded suspicious, and the thought that my opinion that he made it up was the undertone.
he's acting lofty about it, saying that he went to a school that's strong in that kind of stuff. right. cat_stare if he had, then we wouldn't be arguing.
and in the end, where i said that it was past time to agree to disagree? he said to go ahead and be idiots.
REALLY?!
if he wants to be prejudiced, then go ahead. just SHUT UP. cat_scream
i am mad to think that he is on my Gaian Friend List. i am seriously starting to think that he should be on my Ignore List...but he's a vice captain in that guild, and i like said guild.
the guild leader likes him, so she won't do anything about it. FINE.
plus, he argues with everything that goes against 'chistanily' or however you spell it. that's why i consider him a prejudiced freak cat_stare
EDIT: and he's a member of this guild. if he gets offended, I DO NOT ******** CARE. cat_twisted
EDIT AGAIN: gotta love the Ignore List. might seem childish, but it's the only way to get away from him right now. IF i forgive him, then he'll go back to being friends

I'm having a similar problem in another guild. Not about the tarot thing, but about dealing with idiots. I'm leaving the guild, even though everybody else is on my side. I'm leaving the guild because I told the captain that it's either me or him, there is no other way around it. If he stays, I leave.

Maybe you and I could come up with a magic/battle rp and both of our guilds could compete with each other? In fact, I have a battle rp that needs lots more people, anything but gods and demi-gods are allowed.

That guy sounds rather misinformed about tarot in general. I'd say it isn't his fault, but only if he had simply restated something he'd heard at church and had been open to disagreement. Since he persists in being an ignorant fool, I think it's safe to say that's his fault. Whatever "incident" he cited is probably total bullshit and you're right to block that guy. Too bad that your Captain likes him. You could always bring the RP here to BURN and just give me a list of people you want invited, since I'm the one who watches over the RP subforum. I'll be sure to put why they're getting the invite.

dude. in my guild, the only ones that are active are me, Lianna and kefka, with the occasional midnight. maybe something happened in both worlds and they need to work together? one is already a member, and i know the one has been turning down guild invites. i'm not too worried about it. he doesn't go near the RP subforum, thankfully.
