Well first off you don't bake them you cook them in a pan(the one you use for eggs) now I can't remember what you set the temperature at. Just wondering do you know how to make pancake batter at least?

Ok first of to clear the confusion. You do not bake them, baking is when you cook food in an oven, and FRYING.....is when you cook anything on top of the stove. OK, it'll probablt take you about 10 minutes to make the batter, fry them for 15 minutes, and how you can tell to flip them is when you loook at your pancake when it is being fried, wait about 5 or so minutes, and if you notice your pancake mix, the side that is facing up, if the batter is starting to bubble up, flip, and never cook your pancakes at a high temperature so you can make sure of your food being throughly cooked. ok, here is the recipe: 1 cup of sifted (means that you instead of taking the right measurement and just plopping it into your bowl, you shook it into the bowl, in a way of "fluffing" yoour dry ingredient.) anyways, 1 cup of sifted self-rising flour (you'll be able to tell if it's self-rising by looking at the bag and see what it is saying, in other words the bag will say self-rising flour) 1 cup of milk 1 egg 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Ok, turn your stove on, to about the middle point of heat, grease the pan you'll be using ( you can even grab your butter or margarine and grab a paper napkin and get some on the paper napkin and smear it all over the insides of the pan where the food will be), place pan on top of stove, ad allow it to heat up. You'll be able to tell if your pan is ready to cook food or not by waiting about 5 minutes or so, and go over to your sink and get your fingers wet, and walking over to your stove and flick the water on your finger on the pan, if it starts crackeling, then that is indicating that it is ready, and do not be alarmed by it's loud noises you, and your food are perfectly safe. Pour about 1/8 to 1/4 cup of batter on to the pan. When you flip your pancake to cook the last side only cook it to a golden brown, and don't worry by this point you should have the feeling that you have maybe conqured comething to the point of trusting your intincts. Well, that's about all I have to say about Making Pancakes. Hope it goes well for you! Good luck hun!

Well you can do what Malfina101 said or you can just go and buy the instand pancake mix that you add water or milk to(all you have to do is full up to the line on the contaner and shake). Then just turn on a skillet (pan) and after it heats up pour on the stuff and after the bottom is "golden brown" flip it over. After the other side is the same take it off the skillet put on a plate put on what you want and enjoy! biggrin

Don't worry smile , I'm sure you haven't burnt anything in the microwave so far (like I did) sweatdrop ! There's this funny story my friend told me, I don't remember who the guy was that she was referring to but she said that he nearly burnt the house by cooking a pie in the microwave rofl ! He was meant to set it to 2 mins but instead he set it in the microwave for 20 mins and fell asleep somehow and forgot about his pie! He woke up when the smoke alarm went off rofl ! I'd probably do the same but sweatdrop !
