Thimble, Bracken, and Thorn; the village of Tanoora's local mages and healers. The humans had once respected these powerful sisters, but not now. Now, not even a kind tone was presented to them. Six teenagers; three girls and three guys visited the mages, wounded by the wolves that roamed outside the city walls. They demanded that the mages heal them immediately and the mages lost their tempers. They cast a spell on the six humans, turning them into dogs and cats forever, before disappearing. The six were knocked out, and wake at dawn to the murderous yells of various humans. They ran, out of fear and lived their lives in the wild.

It's been exactly 702 years since the day when their lives were changed forever, and the six teenagers are now being held at an animal shelter. One by one, they are all adopted into various human families that all happen to be friends... but what happens when they begin to fall in love with their masters and mistresses? Or one another? Can the curse be broken? Can they convince their owners that they are indeed human?
Every night when they return to their human forms, the cursed seem to find themselves thinking... thinking of the impossible...
