Bix was on his new found drive to do well and kick a** and all that good stuff. He'd been trying to train a lot, as much as he could really, but shooting dummies was boring. It was early morning, part of his routine, and he sent out a message from the Training Fields. Lilwolfpard You up? Rise and shine, sleeping beauty. Come out and train with me! *insert sword innuendo here* Yes he typed out that whole last part.

Unlike the well routine trained bix, she on the other hand was sooo not a morning person yet. Something she really needed to work on, but dammit. Too early! Flipping opent he text message, she gave a groggy reply filled with typos. BIX I'll shov my sword somewere alright. GImme 15. more like 20 minutes later the raven haired girl could be seen entering the training fields. Her hair was pulled back in a messy manner, and she looked slightly groggy... but besides that it was just regular 'ol Ceres. "You didn't strike me as a morning person."

Bix was leaning on a training dummy in a tanktop and loose pants. He looked soooooo bored with the waiting and twirled his braid idly in his hand.
"I don't strike a lot of people as OCD either but.. hey, life is full of surprises. I get up every morning and jog, train, lift weights, breakfast. Then I shower and do all the other stuff. Is the princess sleeepy?" He teased and juggled his bow in his hand.
"Truth is I've always sort of... made myself do well. Try hard do well. Self imposed pressure. I mean what's the point if you aren't trying your best? I'd rather work hard and learn my limitations than to loaf around and make excuses for sucking."
He walked up to her and shook her shoulders. "WAAAAKE UPPPPPP!" And then immediately flinched back from what he assumed would be an impending slap, punch, kick or something.

"In my experience most nerds of our caliber are not morning people, i guess i fit into that little niche hah!" Looking away she scratched a little at her arm absently, shrugging a moment later. "But then again i guess you did not get that body from lack of training." He was rather built, had to be for a bow and arrow type weapon.
Right?
"HEY!" She called out a second later, the shaking taking her by surprise in her semi-awake state. By instinct the girl did actually lift a arm to let go a punch in his direction, but he was smart enough to know to dodge it already.
Standing there in her short sleeved shirt and work out pants, Ceres blinked a few times and stared at her balled fist, red tinge on her face. "Whoops, sorry about that. Scared the hell out of me." Now it was the girls turn to look rather sheepish.
"...Wake up girls like that often, huh?" After all he had known to dodge. Now she really DID feel awake, ironically enough. Reaching her hand in to her pocket she pulled out the Quilin belt buckle.

Bix turned pink when she commented on his body. Other than Ariane grabbing his butt, it was the first compliment he'd received on his physique which was much improved from the skinny bod he'd sported when he'd arrived on the island.
"Well in college it was different. Staying up late for exams or depending on when classes were.. I like keeping myself on a schedule. After a while I just do it on instinct. I'm in the middle of my jog when I realize I don't remember getting there." Bix laughed a bit.
He shook out his shoulders and just gave a pink faced head shake. "I wish I was waking ANY girl up on a regular basis." But he realized he sounded mopey again, that self deprecation thing.
"Well... ready?"

"True, but most people just complain that college makes you fat." Or lazy, or both. It seemed neither of them had that issue from college. Or at least working on the island was enough to bring them back in to shape.
"Pfft. Must be some fool girls on this island then, if the meaning behind those words is what i think you mean." She had a feeling it was a sore subject though with him, so she would drop if with her 2 cents. Truly Bix seemed to be a nice guy AND he wasn't bad to look at, so why wouldn't someone want to be his?
Her next reply though was not with words, but actions. Bix had come close enough to shake her... and he did seem to want to spar. Should she use her weapon?
Just summon me, how else will you get used to it?
She did not need to be told twice, as she summoned the long blade. Takeru was still awkward for her. A little heavy and large, she still used him as a dual wielding sword even though he was meant for a single hand. She flipped the blade over though so that the dull end was where she swung.

And apparently her distance advantage was all for naught, because she made a attempt to run at Bix...grazed him barely, and then tripped over something on the ground.

Bix was pink anytime she offered him a compliment and funny enough his blush even carried along to his neck and shoulders. He was pale. So pale. Any shift of mood usually came with a blush or flush or some kind.
"Aww she still sleepy." He joked as she came at him and then hit the ground. He should have been a bit more helpful but the huntress seemed sluggish and he was trying to wake her up and get her moving.
Apparently the best method for getting Ceres on her feet was a stinging volley of arrows, right in her upraised behind.
"a** slapping would just be rude." He quipped. Yes.. he talked a lot. And teased. And baited during fights.

If there was one sure way to wake up, it sure as hell was this way. A little unconventional sure, but effective none the less. SHE sure as hell would not have thought of it. Eleven Energy arrows to the a**, who knew?
Ceres let out a yelp, free hand reaching behind, embarrassedly, to touch where the arrows all hit. At the same time she lifted herself to her knees, sat on her calves (and hand), and leered around for the albino archer. Barely touching one of the arrows previously the tingly sensation had felt odd then, but having this many connect? Yeow! "I feel sorry for whomever pisses you off, but damn if that wasn't a good wake up call." She was wide a** awake now.
Rubbing at her rear one last time she removed her hand and put it on the hilt with the other one. She really needed to work at her strength, the hilt was not long enough for both hands. Target in sight she made another dash at him, swung the sword around, to barely nick him once again.
"Well aren't YOU a slippery sucker." He was fast as all hell.

"Practice." Bix was barely getting caught because he was fast. As an archer he couldn't get caught close if he could help it so he did his best to stay on the move. "I am also a rank higher than you. Does that mean I get to give you orders, trainee?" Bix gave her a playful teasing smirk.
"C'mon.. you have to catch me." He fired a single arrow with precision aim into the arm that was sword-free. He didn't miss but he had only shot one on purpose. He was egging her on, seeing what she could do. Bix was always on the move, circling her, bobbing around, and backpedaling.

"Hmm. You can try." She baited back some. If Bix wanted to play that way, she could try to as well. True he has more experience, but that does not mean she could not try her best.
Proof enough was she dashed forward too, unable to really keep up with the white haired man and his trained body, but she attempted to intercept him a few times. Making a judge at his movements she took a wild guess, which proved to be accurate as the blade hit home. She was aiming for his bow arm, the one that was used to hold the weapon out.
"Your steps are semi predictable, Archer." She made a movement to try and get in closer, trying to keep up with him. Unlike Bix she did not back off after she landed a hit, long ranged for her was not a good thing in a battle of sword VS bow.

"I'm not a psychic.." He laughed, taking the hit but rolling away, along the length of her stabbing arm to run behind her. He back pedaled again, stinging her back with a few arrows.
Mina charged, the gems on the bow now pulsing and glowing. The runes present on all the weapons only shown on his bow in this state, each gem held a rune inside of it, visible as they readied for his attack.
"C'mon.. you should have a charge right?" Bix wiggled around goofy like, arms out like a target. "Give your weapon.. releaaase." Yes he made it sound sexual, but it wasn't all his fault. For his weapon... it sort of was sexual.

Ceres couldn't help it, her eyebrow quirked up at the wording and his tone, but even she could not stop the shiver that resulted and traveled down her spine.
I dont like this... i would use it, just in case. The quilin rumbled through her, his base voice louder than usual within her own skull. Takeru was always louder, more eager, when her charge was filled. She remembered back to when Bix mentioned Mina being as she was when she was ready as well...
The bows glow was all too noticeable now, and she too agree'd with Keru. She had a sinking suspicion what was about to happen was going to really, really hurt. Usually she tried to save her power until she, or someone else, really needed it. Being a spar though she was more able to use it at leisure.
"Show you mine if you show me yours." She repeated his own words right back at him with a wink. Letting go of the sword with her left hand, she wielded Takeru until she swung it around once, almost like twirling a baton. Holding it in front of her the 'spines' near the hilt started to glow a white. A moment later, she was surrounded by a tube of light that shot up from the ground.
Only maybe a few moments passed.
When she stepped out of it, the light vanished, and she stood fully healed. Not only that though, her clothing looked like it had mended where the arrows, or falling, had torn it. It was a full regen.

Bix looked impressed actually. He'd been ready for some crazy sword move but she'd actually healed herself!
"Awesome! But.. you probably should have saved that." He looked a bit cocky and when she threw his words back at him he simply laughed. "Oh ho ho.. If you insist. You really know how to talk to a guy huh?"
Bix crouched and aimed above Ceres head. His shot certainly wouldn't hit her up there.. A single arrow was fired and exploded above the woman's head. Suddenly the air around her was filled with raining red arrows, pinning into her body and the ground around her. Everywhere was singed by the time the arrows had dissolved away.

She should have known from his reaction that it was too good to be true. Should she have saved this heal...? Probably. Though to be honest no one could even know if the heal would have been as potent the second time around. It was dumb luck that the first one was so nice.
Her eyes watched the single arrow, waiting for that single large thing to hit her, but instead.. he pointed up and fired? "Wha, Why would you-" Then the first arrow hit home. Than three more.
Then she just lost count.
It was quite literally, raining fiery arrows. Instinctively she reached her hands over her head to try and protect herself, but that just meant her arms took the brunt of the damage. The sword made little clinking noises as the arrows hit. Crouching down she tried to make herself as small as possible, while trying to move out of the way. Hard to move, honestly, when the weather report deemed 'arrowfall' as the storm of the day. Finally when it felt like she was ALMOST out of the storm, it stopped. Blinking, she looked back at the field, under her arm, where she once was... and her shirt sleeve suddenly stood out to her. "You singed my shirt!" It was still totally on, not damaged in any way besides the color. Just a litttlle darker on the back and sleeves, the once vibrant blue was now closer to black in spots. At least she wasnt totally blackened...like the ground.
Though her arms hurt like holy hell, but it seemed that the burning effect the ground and her shirt took was only there? Blessing in disguise.
"Im not done just yet." She said pushing herself off the ground and making a run for him. Coming in closer she went low for the attack, aiming for one of his legs. Take out a leg maybe he would slow, yes?
