Abeo smiled as she darted through the jungle from the outer guard towers. She loved the feeling of the wind in her fur and face. As the full leaves of the underbrush danced along her sides. She was born for this speed and she embraced it to help others.
But right now she had someone else to help.
The temple began to bloom from the jungle that homed the Jedi Order. She put on a quick burst of speed and skidded to a halt in front of the Pillar of Knowledge. Atino should be here about this time of day! She had been friends with Atino since their Youngling days!
But ever since Atino's Master had been revealed to be a Sith spy, her friend had been crushed. Abeo didn't like seeing her friend out of balance, so she had been trying to help her recollect herself. She had been planning on going on her Trial of Spirit, but this was MUCH more important!
Abeo smiled as she entered the Pillar "Atino! How are you today!"

Atino was catching up on her studies. It was one of the ways she was able to distract herself of the lose of her master Tralsay. She didn't like to talk about it. Her friend Cygnus tried to get her to talk to him about her problems she was facing, but she decided to keep it to herself. She was still working out how she felt about the lose. He was closer to her than anyone else. For her he was a father figure. He believed in her when others wanted to give up. And now because of his betrayal she questioned herself and wondered if she was a worthy jedi.
Her attention went to the entrance. She saw Abeo. Atino gave her a gentle smile. “Afternoon Abeo. I am doing pretty well. How about yourself?” She couldn't help but wonder what Abeo was doing here. Her trial of spirit should be coming up, Atino thought. She didn't question it though. Cygnus was off on a mission and she needed a friend to keep her company. In the pride she only had three close friends. Abeo, Cygnus and Tralsay. Even though Tralsay was gone she still considered him her friend. She wished that perhaps the light side of his spirit remained at the temple to guide her. This thought occasionally made his passing easier for her to grieve, but it didn't always help.
She set herself down, to give her legs a rest. Her and Tralsay used to spend most of their free time at the Pillar of Knowledge. They both found it to be the most relaxing spot in the pride. Even with his death there was an odd comfort being there. “The council is sending me on my first solo mission.” She remarked casually. It made her pleased that she would have a chance to go on a mission by herself. It would give her some time to reflect on her current situation. “They are sending me to a neighboring pride to learn the history of their land. I am really looking forward to it.”
