Jarosite rolled his shoulder and shifted his coat over his form. He was in a good mood tonight. He flipped his knives in his hands for a moment, then sent them back to subspace. The trenchcoated Captain hung around the park, looking more like a man who needed to think than a man out for information and to... guide those misguided to the proper side. Though he would admit he was still unsure if there was a 'proper' side, and not just the one you became bound to. Would he ever want to be one of those butt winged magic flinging freaks? Youma no, but he did wonder if any of the 'good' senshi toed the line.
And that was mostly his business in the park. He was powered up to attract attention of the senshi, if only to just get them to talk and to see how many he could make doubt their chosen side. He'd been left alone so far.
Maybe he would get lucky however.

Albireo wasn’t going to lie, after the last fight she had with Jarosite, she was kind of eager to see him again, and perhaps to kick him once more, like in the good old days. She had been going out almost every night for a few days, and was investigating any chaotic energies that she could feel.
The brunette senshi made her way towards the one she felt now and grinned to herself. For once, it was Jarosite, and not some youma, or some other agent of chaos. Albireo walked over to him, hands crossed in front of her.
“Causing trouble again, Jarosite? Please, don’t tell me I have to kick your a** like I did the other night.”
Well, perhaps kicking his a** wasn’t all she wanted to do to him, but, whatever. Let him think she was angry. It would serve him right, after all. Though...Sometimes, she figured she took the whole saying, 'flirting with darkness', a bit too literally.

Slate grey eyes flicked to her and Jarosite repressed a shudder of warmth that rolled through him. Metallia she was breathtaking when she was angry. Granted, she was breathtaking any time, really. He pulled his sly easy grin onto his face and willed his eyes away from her for a moment. He calmed his blood, speaking with an air of nonchalantness. “I seem to remember that encounter quite differently, Albireo. And trouble… is in the eye of the beholder, no?” He turned his face back to her, his grin wider now. Jaro offhandedly wondered if she would notice that he actually used her name for once, instead of Swany.
Always a test of what her limits were, always.
“Actually, I’m just looked for conversation, Swany. So unless you’re goin’ to kick my a** over a talk, I think this encounter can go differently, don’t you?” he said to her, turning up the charm a bit. He really needed to stop having so much fun with this girl, honestly. But it was so entertaining to see her get flustered.
Heh, he could get her flustered in other ways…
Jarosite patted the picnic table he leaned against. “Come ‘ere. I ain’t gunna bite. Just wanna talk. So, how are you doin’?”

She noticed. The moment he spoke her name, she gave him a look, and a shiver ran up her spine. Ugh. Why did he do that to her. Just because he honestly just treated—spoke to her…
That a*****e.
“No, Jarosite. I kicked your a** last time, and you know it. I don’t know what you want to converse about. But sure. I have time. I guess. A few minutes, at the very least.” She walked over and sat down at the table, looking at him. “What did you want to talk about anyway? It’s been what—a week since we’ve seen one another?” Albireo reached up, absentmindedly fiddling with one of her hair loops, giving a little sigh.
“Just make sure this talk doesn’t put me in danger of losing my boyfriend. Him and I are finally doing good with one another again.”
And they were. They seemed to finally have gotten past the whole…Odette was a cat and didn’t talk to Merric for a month or so…thing.

He rolled his eyes at her for a moment and shook his head. Wow the girl could be superficial sometimes. Did her man really mean that much to her, or was she so alone among the White Mooners that he was all she could latch on to? He probably was a senshi himself, or one of those damn knights. Typical. He pushed down the jealousy that bubbled in his chest by crossing his arms.
"How's your side treating you? Meet any good friends? For that matter, find anyone with sense?" he asked her, eyes glancing at her loops before finding her eyes. He was geniunely curious, among looking for information and to see just how... set she was on her side. "I ask because I always see you alone; don't you people team up or somethin'? For safety against us baddies?"

It was Albireo’s turn to roll her eyes and she snorted indignantly. “Of course we team up, and of course I have a team that I’m on. And it’s a great and wonderful team.” Of course, she hadn’t seen any trace of Acubens since the first time they met and talked, but he didn’t need to know that, now did he.
She watched him. “Don’t you baddies team up? I mean, get a few of you in one place, and oh lord. Wouldn’t that be a scary sight. A death party, I’d reckon.” She watched him for a moment, then moved close, laying on whatever charm she had as thick as she could. “But, I don’t know. I think you’d come right to be even if you were in a group of big bad..uh, baddies.”
“Don’t you have any friends on your side? You’re always alone too you know. And when you’re alone, you always seem to find me.”

He sighed softly and decided to ignore her question. There weren't really friends within the Negaverse, more like people who followed others orders. There was respect. If there were friends, he didn't really have any. It was okay, but explained why he was always alone.
Besides, it was principle thing, working on his own.
"So, if you're done making jabs at my loneliness, how do the White Mooners treat you? Giving you good opportunities? Telling you to visit your homeworld?" he asked her, trying to pull the sarcasm out of his voice. He was genuinely concerned for her.

Albireo shrugged. “I suppose I could continue making jabs at your loneliness, if you’d like. No. Nobody’s made the suggestion that I should go and visit my dear old star. And they haven’t since Pippen tried to take me there.”
The senshi gave him a look now. “So, what is it that you want from me? Just trying to make jabs at my loneliness and unwillingness to go and see the dead and destroyed Star that I’m supposedly from?”
She wasn’t very happy with that, but she supposed, that was their job. Badmouth the senshi, just as she was badmouthing his side. “…Wouldn’t you rather, I don’t know. Have a hot makeout session or something instead? Sounds more fun. At least to me.” Sure, it was more dangerous, at least to Albireo. But, it sounded a lot better. Kissing always sounded better than hearing one’s doubts and fears vocalized.

Sigh. "It's really that hard for you to just accept that I'm trying to look out for you. Make sure you're okay, and your starseed hasn't been taken or crushed. Or that you think that sunlight shines out of the Princess' collective a**. I am trying to make sure you're okay." He told her with sincerity ringing true in his words. He half turned to her.
"'Sides, I don't think you should be fighting for a past you weren't alive for, or a world that doesn't exist anymore. You're here, on earth, now. You should fight for the present, and with people who want you around, like me." He chuckled at her comment about make out session. He would like one of those, but ah, not today. Or at least, not right now.

Albireo laughed, and shook her head, though paused, putting on a look of false confusion. “W-wait…Sunlight doesn’t shine out of Princesses asses? What…You’re lying about that, I know that Princesses poop rainbows and sunshine. And they vomit hope and all that junk.” She broke into laughter, shaking her head. “No, I’m not quite that stupid. Not yet.”
The senshi listened to his reasoning, and gave another nod. “Well, I agree. And Part of the reason that I do come out here and uh…patrol…is because of you. I want to you know. Beat you senseless. Or just see you. Or whatever.” She grinned.
“I know you don’t understand, but sometimes I am fighting for the people who want me around, and…I do fight with you. We fight a lot.” She was twisting his words, but it was just so easy to do so.

He snorted at her joke. It actually was rather hilarious, and Jaro enjoyed her sense of humor. He chuckled at "wanting to beat him senseless. Or just see him." Ah, she wasn't the only one who wanted to see the other. He raised a colbalt brow as she twisted his words back around to him. Another reason he liked her. She was fiesty when she was in the right mood.
He glanced out at the rest of the park for a moment, sobering up his expression to answer her. "I know we do. We're on opposing sides, remember? We gotta fight one another, even if sometimes I think that all this fighting is gunna break the world at some point. I mean, there's that one senshi who starts wild fires after all. And then our side raised that giant dragon at the Surrounding. This whole war does sort of post a threat to the civilians and Earth, don't you think?
"Yet we fight each other anyway. Even if all we want to do is pin the other to a bench and kiss the breath out of them, we can't really do that. And maybe we fight because one of us can't stand to not be close to the other, and can only really do it in fights," he said, sliding his eyes to hers and grinning like a madman. Man he could go on for days, flirting with her and making her flustered only to pin her down and do indecent, but oh so so good things to her.
"Sucks that we're not able to do that, eh?" he said, glancing away from as though it was a passing thought.

Albireo sighed. The fighting would only end up doing terrible things to the planet, and she was quite sure that eventually…it would be destroyed. Just like the homeworlds of the past. It was stupid. A stupid, rotten way for a thing to die, consumed by greed, hatred and fighting. It just wasn’t fair. Not one little bit of fair.
“Well, maybe if we did just pin one another to a bench and kiss, then the fighting would stop, and by doing that the world could be saved, at least a little bit, don’t you think? Kissing really is better than punching. It doesn’t hurt, and it’s about a million percent more pleasurable.”
The fighting wouldn’t stop. She pretty much knew that. But, she wondered just how long it would be before one of the sides decided to really cause some harm. That would be devastating, she was sure. And she was damn sure she wouldn’t be a part of anything like that. No siree.
She wasn't that stupid, after all.

He chuckled softly. Jarosite reached a hand up and stroked her cheek with a few of his fingers. He was compelled, as he looked at her, to do as she'd suggested and forget about duty, forget about the war, forget who he was. Just for her. He would never forsake his home for her, but maybe... maybe he didn't have to even consider it.
The captain leaned into her, brushing her cheek with his lips. "Only our fighting would stop, and only for a little bit... unless you decided the White Mooners weren't worth it. I mean, really what have they done for you? I'm guessing your world is destroyed, no one has really made an effort to make you feel welcome. 'Sides, we wouldn't have to fight anymore, and do more... exciting things more often," he said softly into her ear. The fingers caressing her cheek slipped down to the flesh over where he could sense her star seed. He simply stroked the skin and coped a feel while he was there. There was no intent to shove his hand in her chest (not that he could corrupt her anyway) only a reminder of what could happen. He pulled his hand back and straightened up.
"It's your choice, though. I won't force you into a decision you don't want. I just want you to be happy. So, think on it, mm? I won't think any less of you if you stick by the White Mooners, but I can't say the same for my superiors, or what they may order me to do. " He gave her a smile, a true smile nothing covered in arrogance or alterior motives, and kissed her temple quickly.
"It's your life, Albireo. How'd you rather spend it? " Jarosite hoped beyond hope that she would actually mull it over, instead of doing what he assumed she did and ignored it until it was much worse.

Albireo sighed, resting against Jarosite. “It doesn’t feel like it anymore.” She murmured, rather relaxed. “It doesn’t feel like I have any control over my life anymore. But I really want to get that control back. I’ll think on it…but, I really have no idea.” The senshi looked at the sky and shook her head.
“We’ll see, Jaro. We’ll see where I’m lead, okay? I just want to go where ever I’ll be happiest, and if that ends up being with you and your gang of…sometimes absolutely ruthless folks, then so be it. But, right now, I’m going to be the same rather miserable undecided bimbo that I always am.”
She laughed, then kissed his cheek. “I have to head home, I’m feeling really sleepy all of the sudden. But I’m sure I’ll see you later. I’ll look forward to it, Jarosite. I really do. You take care of yourself, okay? I don’t want to find you dead somewhere because a batshit senshi decided you looked delicious or something.”
Reluctantly, Albireo pulled away from the negaverse captain and sighed. “Whatever I do though, I promise, I’ll let you know the moment I really decide for myself, okay?”
She smiled at him, then began walking off, rubbing her eyes and giving a loud yawn, that she supposed he could hear. Yeah. Totally bedtime. Maybe a cup of hot chocolate to go with it too.
