The Guardian of Sailor Violet, Murasaki is a Representative of the Avis. She was sent to protect and guide the girl.
Not much is known about these magical birds, including their motivations. In fact, no one outside of the senshi knows anything about them at all. These magical birds come in a variety of races and have their own invisible society. Each has their own abilities.
Murasaki, like other Owl Avis, has the ability of Mind Control and what his kind call "the awareness".
Mind Control:
One look into Murasaki's eyes is enough to fall under her spell. She can make humans do her bidding and then forget she was there.
The Awareness:
The ability to sense unnatural beings, Murasaki can sense the presence of Youma and other supernatural beings.
