Bio: Infernus was born in a litter with about a dozen siblings. His earliest memories are being handled and inspected by people trying to determine whether or not he was from good stock.
He was raised and bred to be an "attack dog" guarding many castles and forts during the great war. Most of his siblings were killed during the war and afterwards there was no place for a monster like him meant for fighting.
After being placed in a kind of monster pound, the headmaster of the academy happened to visit looking for a guardian for the school. Initially when the headmaster saw Infernus she figured there was no way she would adopt such a ferocious and violent animal. But when she actually met and began to converse with Infernus she realized he was not like the rest and decided he would be the one to guard the school. (Despite the reservations of some of the faculty.) He has been guarding the school since.
Personality: Friendly, laid-back, likes to play, likes to meet new people. Is helpful with new students and willing to help out with off-campus activities.
Abilities: Infernus is extremely powerful and experienced as he was bred to be a guardian during a time of war. The armored part of his skin is extremely thick and his size makes him very strong. His claws, horns and tail are extremely sharp and are his main weapons during combat.
Infernus is able to leap great distances provided he assumes a crouching position first. (This takes one post). He can leap upwards just high enough to land on an average-height two-story building and can leap forward about 1/3 the length of a football field. (33 yards)
Infernus can fire a stream of sonic energy from his mouth. This energy is invisible but is able to tear apart solid objects and generally leaves a gouge in the ground where it hit. Even if an object is too tough to be torn apart, it is blasted backwards by the sheer force of the energy. He can fire this consecutively for 2 posts, with a 2 post recharge.
