The messages had went out almost a week before the actual day in hopes of gathering as many of them as possible. The senshi had been easy enough, a simple message sent on their phones, but Polaris had to be a little more clever when it came to the knights. Borrowing her boyfriend for the task, the knights had received their invitations via a magical letter for Niflhel, inviting them on her behalf.

The abandoned house was definately a drearier place then she'd have hoped for having their first meeting. But the risk of taking everyone to her apartment without a cat to help mask their aura's was too great. And without knowing if the others would feel comfortable sharing their civilian identities with people they'd not yet met it seemed the only option.

The senshi of magnetism had nonetheless done her very best to make it as homey as she could manage in the day before the meeting. The room they were in had actually been dusted and any cobwebs or trash cleaned out. Padded folding chairs where scattered around a round coffee table. A small collection of easily grab-able snacks at on the table ranging from freshly baked cookies, variously stuffed tea sandwiches, fresh cut melons, and pretzels. Both a cold and hot water cooler were present, with tea bags and hot chocolate mix sitting alongside the cups and stirrers. There were even a few small vases with flowers for small splashes of color.

It wasn't a terrible set up, but the hostesses' face was nonetheless apologetic as she invited each person though the door and into the slowly filling 'living room'. "Thank you for coming. I'm hoping by our next meeting we'll have someplace much nicer then this. But I thought it was best we get together and actual all meet sooner rather then later."

Polaris was slightly nervous, but the sight of each familiar face (some more familiar than others) her nerves soothed a little bit more, and she milled about politely as she waited for the last couple of guests to show up.

Howl had received a message from the Knight known as Niflhel. The young man was quite certain he had never met Niflhel, though he had heard of him thanks to Miss Grus. The invitation was easily added to his schedule.

The location that had been selected was quite questionable, and even despite the efforts that Polaris had clearly gone through, he couldn't help but feel that the place was disgusting. Nysa, however, was well trained in the ways of not showing his true emotions, keeping a pleasant smile as the eternal senshi seemed to apologize for the location. The Page of Neptune made his way to the set up, easily locating the makings for tea.

He eventually made up a cup for himself, but as was his own standard practice, he did not even attempt to drink it right away. So far there were many more powerful auras filling the room. It made him feel quite overshadowed, though he would not let on that he felt intimidated in such a manner.

Making his way to the hostess, he held out his hand to the girl. "Miss Polaris... it is lovely to see you again... how has the summer treated you so far?"

Niflhel's silent and currently sightless observance was both familiar and soothing to the senshi of magnetism. He had been there with her when she'd first arrived, and he did have a habit of 'holding up corners' whenever they ended up in large groups. He might not be the most chatty all the time, but noone could ever accuse him of not being protective.

Slowly people started to creep in and Polaris greeted the remaining male members of the group one after another.

Of them all Nysa was probably the one that had Polaris most self concious about the place they were meeting. Though their meetings were often far and inbetween it was no secret to Aurora how gentel Howl was. He had impecable manners and upbringing, he had fine tastes and such a beautiful and pampered air about him. She wouldn't have been entirely surprised if this wasn't the most drab and unfrilly place he'd ever been to. But he was polite, and Polaris was incredibly thankful for that.

Her hand responded almost subconciously, stretching out to touch his in their customary greeting. "I'm doing well Nysa, thank you for asking. How have you been doing?"

"Staying out of too much trouble?"

As Athene arrived bearing both a polite smile and some treats of his own Polaris couldn't help but brighten a little, lifting her free hand in a brief greeting. She didn't know Athene as well as the other two boys in the room, but he seemed just as well mannered and wonderful. "I'm glad you could make it."

Niflhel had stirred enough to watch Nsya kiss the back of his girlfriend's hand. However, he didn't move much. Just listening to the conversation at hand. "You can always bring something next meeting." He added from his corner.

It's not like this would be the last meeting that they had. Of course, the knight fell back silent after having spoke. He was basically here to guard Polaris, but it seemed there maybe a lot of weaker senshi and knights attending this party. His eyes were watching the bag with the brownies in it contemplating. He could afford to protect a few more or aid them whichever would end up being needed.

“Good evening Polaris and to you as well Nysa.” Despite the quietness, Athene’s voice was friendly. “It’s nice to finally all meet up.” Of the three there already there, Polaris was the one that Athene was most familiar with, limited though their interactions had been. The dark-haired senshi had crossed paths with Nysa once, although the weather had been far nastier at the time. Niflhel however was completely unfamiliar to him, although his aura suggested that the Knight was at the same level as Camelot.

He’d set the brownies down with the other treats and made himself a cup of hot chocolate when another person made their entrance. The white and red eternal senshi someone that Athene had crossed paths with more than once, the most recent occasion being the night of his upgrade to super, and he greeted her with a slight smile and a friendly “Good evening.”

Niflhel was still watching and lofted a brow when Polaris dehenshined. Probably a little skeptical about it but still, they were suppose to be her teammates. Eventually he stood up and gave a flourish of a bow, "Niflhel, Knight of Saturn," There was a small pause as he looked Polaris over before letting himself power down as well.

"Azzo Crowley, Aurora's boyfriend. If you can't find her at her apartment she's probably at my house." He paused, "Also my house is a lot nicer but just down the road."

He repowered quickly before adjusting his hat a bit. "Also, if you need training in the art of defense let me know." His arms crossed, looking serious as he continued his thought, "Oh and just a side note, if any of you nearly get yourselves killed or do something stupid expect a visit from me. Because if that happens and you live through it, I'll take that as a plea for training."

The voice of the snoozing knight caught his ears, and politely the Page replied "I will most certainly keep that in mind." The appearance of Grus caused the lad to nod in her direction in greeting, but before he could do anything beyond that, the hostess requested introductions.

He was not prepared for her to start off a trend of powering down as she led by example. Soon enough, it was Miss Namid, Mr. Crowley, Mr. Laith, Miss Grus, and himself left in the meeting.

The others might have been comfortable revealing their civilian identities, but for the Page of Neptune, he was not quite certain if he wanted everyone present to know who he was. Miss Namid already knew, but she had earned his respect long before. However, Miss Grus and Mr. Laith were kind, but still practically strangers to him. And Mr. Crowley was a complete stranger. So where as the three prior to him had kept up a chain of introductions and powering down, the Page broke the chain.

"I am Nysa, Page of Neptune. I am present tonight due to Miss Polaris. I do not have any powers, and my so-called 'weapon' is a quill pen." Where others might have waited for him to power down, he had no intention of doing such a thing.

Polaris already knew the name and powers of the whole group, but she listened politely, offering encouraging nods even though they didn't really seem to be needed. When Athene powered down she paid even more attention, trying to commit his appearance and the information to memory. He was a little younger then her and Azzo, but she was sure they could find each other if the need ever arose.

When Grus' cheeks reddened, Polaris gave an immediate and perhaps over exaggerated nod, quickly attempting to reassure her. "That's perfectly fine, don't worry!"

"I was on another team back when I first became a senshi, and we tended to have our meetings unpowered so we didn't have to worry about being tracked down. But that's something we can work towards with time, or even never at all if people are uncomfortable with it."

"I hope that we'll all become good friends eventually, but there isn't any benefit in trying to rush it. I just wanted people to be able to find me if need be."

Glancing towards the table, she made her way over, grabbing one of Athene's brownies, before turning to address everyone again. "Introductions out of the way, I figured we could just get comfortable and chat for awhile. I've never really lead a group or club of any sort, so if I skip anything please do pipe in and let me know."

"One thing I did want to mention was our name. I came up with one on my own but.. if anyone else has suggestions I'd be happy to discuss it and vote."

"My suggestion is Celestial Shepherds. Shepherds are a pretty under appreciated group, especially considering how much of themselves they give of themselves to take care of their herd. I know for me protecting the people of Destiny City is very important."

It was her two cents, her small argument for her chosen name. As if to signify the end of her statement, she broke off a small bit of brownie before placing it in her mouth, chewing slowly.
