It was a fine day to be out of the school classrooms, and Poke was making the most of it. With a light wind in the air, she had taken flight, and was busy surveying the grounds from a higher altitude. The view from above was always breathtaking. It had been far too long since she had stretched her wings, and the feeling was sorely missed.
Feeling like some fun, she suddenly dived, the wind rushing through her hair as she sped towards a few trees, narrowly missing the trunks as she threw straight through them and across the school grounds, pulling herself up just in time to land on one of the tree branches.
With her heart pumping in her chest, the dragoness leaned against the tree for a few moments to catch her breath

Meanwhile, a small feline was busily running through the school grounds on her way to town. Sometimes? Cat form was pretty badass. People didn't feel as obligated to bother you for some reason, unless they were mini lovers... Then you had yourself a problem.
But as long as she stayed out of plain sight, then things were fine. The fur-clad ghoul darted two and fro in the tree line with a hopeful attempt to make her way into town. Was she going to make it? It looked like it. Closer, closer!

As she was trying to keep her balance on the branch, she heard a rustling in the treetops nearby. At first she thought nothing of it, but the sound got closer, and closer. Ears twitching at the sound, she edged further along the branch to see if she could see what it was, then stumbled backwards as a black blur rushed past. Her footing slipped, and with a shout she fell from the branch, a few choice swear words following her down.
Thankfully there were more branches to stop her fall, and somersault her in mid air. How lucky for her that one caught her pants leg, and she now hung precariously from a a lower branch, upside down.
fun times.

Being small had benifits indeed. She was much smaller. Much more agile. Much better at escaping BIG THINGS JUST HIDING IN THE TREES WHAT THE HELL.
The feline stopped on one of the branches feet away from the one Poke hung from. Oh. It was THAT ghoul. We-he-helll.
Riyo stuck out her sandpaper tongue at the hanging dragon and turned, standing proudly with her butt to the ghoul and tail straight in the air. Served her right for last time.

Poke had not missed the upside down cat stepping onto a branch in front of her, nor did she miss the cheeky gesture from the feline either. She had not realized who it was, so with eyes narrowed, she tried to reach out and grab her, making the branch sway dangerously.
"Oy! Get back here you feline furball-FUUUUU" Were her famous last words as the branch gave way and sent her to the ground. Again. This time hitting the ground with a nice thud, were she laid there for a few moments.
After her meeting with the ground, she sat up and tried to look for the black cat.

Ahahahah. Ohhh, the dragon was mad, was she? Well- OH HOLY ******** Poke shook the branch Riyo was perched on, the feline let out an awful hiss, her feet losing their balance rather quickly. In a desperate attempt to save her from the fall that would inevitably put her right back on her feet anyways, Riyo's front paws clawed the hell out of the branch she was falling from. Now she was stuck in the Mufasa pose, and there was no Scar to hold her up.

Aha, there was the pain in the a** feline, holding on for dear life to the branch. Served her right for poking her tongue out like that. Although as Poke watched, she soon sighed, feeling kinda bad for the stupid cat. Walking towards the tree. she began to climb up. She was no cat, but her claws gave her a good grip on the bark, and she steadily made her way upwards.
Soon, she was near the branch that held riyo. She wasn't sure if it would hold her weight, so cautiously she let go of the tree with one hand, reaching out towards the black cat with the other. "Alright...now just stay there, and I'll grab onto you..." she said while straining to reach.

Was Riyo done being a b***h yet?
Oh heeeeeeell no.
Looking down as her paws began slipping, the cat's eyes widened as she saw the dragon ghoul approaching carelessly. Yes. Hold your hands out. don't protect your face aaaaaaaand....
DROP. CLAWS TO THE FACE! Poke would rue the day she tried to play hero to an obviously evil cat.

In hindsight, it was probably a bad idea to be nice and rescue a bad tempered cat from a tree.
But then, Poke wasn't think very much at that moment, as she had said cat clapped to her face. With a shout she leaned backwards, forgetting she was holding onto the tree as she tried to pull riyo off her face, And invariably let go of the tree. There was much cursing to be had from the dragon ghoul as she plummeted, and hit the ground again, for the second time that day.
And after a few minutes, it was clear she had been knocked out cold from the fall as she was getting up. Or moving for that matter.

It occurred to Riyo right then and there why Titus enjoyed making others so miserable all the time. It could be pretty damn fun when done at the right time.
The cat clung to Poke's face all the way to the ground, only lifting her claws when she was sure the ghoul was out of it. Out cold? One would think that was a time to call it quits, but Riyo had one last thing to do. Like a proverbial cherry on top.
With a poof, the small cat turned back into the ghoul, who promptly reached into her coat pocket and pulled out...
A sharpie.
Which was then used to give the dragon ghoul a nice mustache and beard. How lovely. Should she add a monocle? She should add a monocle.

After Poke had received a 'upgrade' to her looks, she began to stir, eyes opening slowly to see a blur of color before her. She squinted to make things come into focus. "...Riyo?" She asked groggily. It looked like the fall had added her memory if not her brain.
Later on she would be extremely pissed at being knocked out considering her head was supposed to be hard, but for now she just blinked, wondering why the cat ghoul was here and what she was doing. Was she holding something in her hands? She wasn't sure, but she did know that her head was throbbing, and there was already a bump somewhere on the back.

Aaaaaaand right back in the pocket her sharpie went. It was time to lie and lie good.
"Ah. Poke. Looked like you took a pretty nasty fall there." Was she going to ask if she was okay? Hell no. The feline didn't care whether she was or wasn't. "I didn't realize you were a clumsy dragon. Perhaps you should take some flying lessons from Jericho? I know he gives them."
Ehehe. Life was good.

Oh, it was Riyo. How did Riyo get here in the middle of the forest? That was weird
...Oh well, her head hurt, she didn't want to think about anything.
"Yes, Yes I did.." She grumbled, sitting up slowly and holding the back of her head. "And no I'm not clumsy, a black cat pushed me out of a tree." She rubbed her head to try and make the pain o away. "And who' the heck is Jericho?" She paused, looking up at the feline ghoul. "I don't suppose you saw the black cat by any chance?"

Ah. Well good thing Poke wasn't the brightest bulb in the pack or she might've made a connection with memories and Riyo's species.
It was mildly surprising, however, to find that the dragon didn't know Jericho. Maybe it was racist to assume that all dragons knew each other. She was pretty sure she knew all the cats in school, though... Maybe.
"Jericho is a dragon. Member of the fitness club. Big fan of shiny things." The ghoul pointed out. He was easy to please in that way. "Oh, black cat?" Without missing a beat, Riyo pointed back in the direction of which she came from. "I saw something black dart off down that way."

"You don't say..." Poke replied. The description she was just given would fit just about any dragon, although the fitness club part would of narrowed it down. But she pushed that aside; the black cat had bounded off.
"Now I can work with that" she said, getting to her feet and cracking her knuckles. "Good, now I'm going to go use the cat as a ball and kick it over the dam school. It's gonna pay...stupid little minipet" she mumbled while walking in the direction Riyo had pointed.
It appeared she had conveniently forgotten that she was talking about kicking a cat, to a another cat.
