I still see way too many crap entries in the Avatar Arena. (Original, I don't hang around Cosplay that often)
I rated TWO set abusers today. TWO.
Never mind, 3. I wanted to like this one, so so bad, I love jesters.

(On top of that, 3 rally fags, a few noobs, and the rest were pure generic crap
and people relying on 'stories' to win.)
I really think it needs to be raised to 20k.
Actually, Becky, I think you have potential to place or at least do really well there, have you ever thought of trying it out?

Awuh, if only he used more than just two items. emo And yeah, I think they should raise the entry fee just a tad bit.
And yeah, I actually have thought of entering in the arenas to see how I'd do. Been trying to come up with an original arena-worthy avi, but creepy/porcelain/dead dolls have been overused when I checked. ;~;

At least you're aware of what's overdone :3 Yeah, black/white creepy doll is pretty hackneyed.
I wanted to enter before I gave all my stuff away, but I couldn't really decide on something arena-worthy.

Aha, yeah; I don't wanna enter something and get bombed with "RAWRAW, DIS BE OVERDONE! NEGATIVE NINE-MILLION!" :3 Tis a shame, because that's what I'm usually good at creating. e_e; Yeah, it's kinda hard to decide what is, and what isn't arena worthy after looking at the top 10 winning avis. Dunno about you, but I always feel discouraged after looking at something that's better than what I can ever create. emo Haha, I know right? What's up with that? It could be the best frikkin' avi ever, and it doesn't have a story. emotion_donotwant

Actually for me, looking at some of the weekly winners encourages me to not enter something like that (75% of them seem to be frilly-pretty this and cutey-femme that. Sickening, really.
I think you'll do just fine :3
I want to submit this, I tried a few backgrounds but they seemed unnecessary and tacked on.
I want to do something 'flat' too, sort of like the legs on this.
Or, maybe just 'minimal'

Ah, but I like frilly-pretty. ; o ; But yeah, I guess seeing the past winners can encouraging; let's you know what's already been used and what hasn't been. ;P Haha, I was thinking of doing a cosplay of Cupcakes Pinkie Pie... but I can't too bloody, and can't find the right items to use. > ~ <; Ooh, I think the first one will do well in the arenas. To me, it seems arena-worthy. :3

I like frilly pretty too, it's just all over the place so whenever I see something aesthetically pleasing that isn't necessarily prim and elegant and covered with ruffles and lace, it seems all the better.
It's sort of why for the longest time I looked like a grim, indigo warrior woman with long white hair neutral
