User ImageNAME
Lucette Gagnon

COLOR
Chocolat Royale - #733d1a

AGE
14 15

NATIONALITY
French Native

SCHOOL
Teufel Town High School - freshman transfer

APPEARANCE
Lucette stands at just under 5 feet tall, with wavy brown hair that cascades down to her mid-back, which is usually tied into a neat bun or top knot accented by a hair piece of some sort. She has bright brown eyes that are always assessing the style of people around her. She has a petite build, and is always dressed in the hottest trend. Sometimes, Lucette will wear non-prescription eyeglasses that are usually more for a fashion statement than anything else.

Also, keeping true to her snotty Frenchgirl persona, her face is always in a face of disapproval, accented by a small frown and a look that makes one question their intelligence.

PERSONALITY
At first glance, Lucette seems to be like any other stereotypical teenage girl, obsessed with the latest fashion trends, cute celebrity boys, and make-up, with a hint of a snotty attitude. She seems to be full of confidence with a vivacious nature, demanding to be the center of attention, with a 'holier than thou' personality. Lucette can come off as a bit shallow and harsh at times, especially if she meets people that she considers to be 'average' or 'homely'.

Because of years of bullying when she was younger, she keeps her innermost feelings guarded from almost everyone, and has a hard time placing her trust in others. She has many friends, but none that she would consider her closest friends that she would run to in her time of need. Even though she does not show her inner emotions as easily, Lucette is able to handle stressful situations easier than most people. Since she already relies on herself as it is, when it comes to dealing with dangerous or stressful situations, it is always her and just her. She remains very calm and keeps a straight face, and perseveres through hard times with as much grace and dignity she can muster. Lucette is enamoured with high fashion models, and fashion itself, and wishes she could be like the models that she sees in the magazines. She is very self-absorbed in her appearance, and sets a high standard for herself, which can be quite detrimental with her because she is in fact, very unhappy with the way she looks. It doesn't help that her father is very good at transforming himself to look like a beautiful woman, with only the help of make-up and padding. In her mind, if her father can look as good as he does as a woman, there is no hope for her or any other 'homely' looking girl in the world. As a result, Lucette is not against plastic surgery at all, and sometimes daydreams about going under the knife. Her parents are very against this (especially Pons, and tries his hardest to instill the belief of, "There's nothing a little make-up won't fix!"), especially since she is so young and she is still growing. But, she herself definitely knows that when she's older she will definitely not mind getting a nose job whether or not her fathers approve of her doing so.

Lucette is also very stubborn, and if she wants something done her way, then God damn it, it will be done. The same applies to if she doesn't want to do anything. She very goal-orientated, and she'll work hard to get what she wants. Lucette also plays the honesty game; brutally so, not on herself but on others, if she doesn't like something about you, she'll say it; that shirt doesn't match your shoes, well then here is a snotty French girl to tell you that it doesn't! This doesn't mean however, that she leaves one feeling like a complete idiot. If she can, she'll help one out, and help them find something that may flatter their shape, or make-up tips etc. She actually enjoys helping someone find an outfit that flatters their shape and suits their style. When she lived in France, she would often bring along her junior high school friends to boutiques and dress them up (and herself too!) in many many different kinds of outfits. She's tried to learn how to sew and perhaps create clothes for herself, but she's found out that she is quite terrible at sewing, and would often stab herself with a needle.

She is very fashion forward, and must have the new 'it' item for the season, and is always aware of the trends of the upcoming season. Everything in Lucette's world revolves around designer labels and high fashion, though one wonders how she can afford any of these. It's also a wonder how her fathers don't object to her rather large closet (though sometimes Pons can't help but 'borrow' a few accessories and clothing - if he fits).

Lucette does more than fashion though. Most of her interests stem from her fathers, and has developed a taste for theatre and opera as well as going to art galleries. Her love of theatre was something she's had since a child, when Pons would take her to musicals and plays. She got her taste for art from Arthur, who very much enjoys going to the Louvre (a place that he's been wanting to go to since he was a little boy), as well as her interest in the opera. Lucette likes to read, much like any other person, and has a particular fancy for mystery and thriller novels. She also enjoys playing tennis and badminton, and the occasional croquet recreationally. She's not exceptionally talented in those sports, but she's good enough to hold up her end of a volley. She's gotten to be slightly better than Pons, but still isn't as great as Arthur, who is surprisingly very talented in tennis (it is one of her goals to beat Arthur in tennis).

In school, Lucette's grades are slightly above average (A's to B's, every now and then C's). When she was younger she disliked going to school very much, because of the bullying, but now she likes going to school, because she is able to see her friends, though going to classes is something she doesn't particularly enjoy. Her favorite classes are her music and art classes, and perhaps her history class. She doesn't mind her literature or science classes as much, but she most definitely does not enjoy math or English language classes (though she had to admit her English teacher was quite attractive).

She hates talking about her mother, whom she calls 'that woman', and tries not to think about her if possible. She begrudgingly thinks of her mother when she has feminine biological processes that her fathers can't quite explain properly. Lucette also thinks of her when she is feeling rather down about her appearance, and wonders if her mother is pretty, like her. Yup, you read that right, she sometimes uses her mother to make her feel better about herself ("At least I don't just up and leave my loved ones!" or "She probably left because Mama was prettier than her! Without makeup to boot!"). In the end, Lucette wants nothing to do with her mother, and has no intention of wanting to meet her or get to know her.

Lucette was born to Genevieve and Pons in Montpellier, France. Not much happened the first two years of her life, save for her mother walking out on them both when Pons came out of the closet and admitted to being a drag queen. Genevieve, unable to handle that kind of information, without saying goodbye to baby Lucette, promptly walked out on him. She refused to have anything to do with even baby Lucette (whom she cared for dearly before Pons revealed his lifestyle to her), as she saw the child as 'tainted' since she also had a part of Pons' DNA, therefore leaving them both. It should have been devastating for Pons, but he was rather glad she was out of the picture as he wasn't happy with her for all the five years they had spent together.

After another year in Montpellier, Pons packed up his bags with 3 year old Lucette in tow and moved to Paris to further pursue his budding drag career. Using the stage name "Trampe L'oeil", he soon became one of the more popular figures in the French drag industry. When she was 4, Pons met Arthur Harrison, an businessman from the United States that was stationed in Paris. It was simply to say, a match made in heaven, and soon after Arthur moved in to live with Pons and Lucette. Lucette and Arthur became fast friends, and whatever advice that Pons could not give, he could step in place and give advice to Lucette.

Growing up, Lucette was exposed to everything her father did for a living, and thought it was normal for men to dress up as women and perform. She was highly fascinated with how her father, who could look quite masculine at times, could transform into a beautiful and feminine woman. She was always playing dress up with her father's clothes and make-up. Lucette loved it when her father dolled her up, and thought herself to be a princess.

In school however, it was a completely different story. She was mercilessly bullied by her classmates who ridiculed her father and questioned his manhood. The students called both her and her father cruel names, and considered her to be the freak child of the school. It was that constant abuse that transformed her into the closed off and defensive girl she became in her adolescence. It didn't help that her teachers also thought her and her father to be slightly weird as well, as they were uncomfortable with the fact that her father was a 'cross dresser' with an overly extravagant personality. Her elementary school years weren't the best for Lucette, as she barely had any friends at the time. As an escape, she started to look at her father's high fashion editorial magazines, and became engrossed in high fashion and the models. Even at her young age, Lucette could automatically determine what label any expensive dress or accessory was from, and thus developed quite an luxurious taste for fashion, much to the glee of Pons and dismay to Arthur (and his wallet).

Things got slightly better in middle school, when her classmates matured a little, and she attended a school with a bigger student population. She managed to make a few friends, something that she didn't get to experience during her elementary school days. Lucette was unused to this sort of attention that wasn't from her parents, and relished it. But when she offhandedly mentioned her father was a drag queen, she was given weird looks, and the bullying started again though it was mostly from the boys. This time, however, she had a a small group of friends she could fall back on, who genuinely (some of them at least) liked Lucette. She was quite glad for this, though never again would she mention to others that her father was a drag queen; instead she would say that her father was a singer.

It was during her third and final year of middle school that her father was gaining prominence throughout France as Tramp L'oeil and his fame began to spread throughout Europe and into the United States. Arthur's ambassadorial duties in Paris were finishing up as well, and the family was preparing to move to the United States. Arthur was of course delighted, as it was his home country; Pons was also delighted because new opportunities were presented to him that would bring him more fame; and Lucette was both excited and apprehensive because she would be leaving everything she knew and loved about her home behind and would be living in a new country that she could barely speak the language of (Arthur had tried to give her extra English lessons, but those were all in vain as she wasn't the least bit interested because she was already learning it in school).

It was a rather tearful goodbye for Lucette, leaving the few friends she had made behind, as well as the city that she loved so much. At the same time however, she was looking forward to living in America, because that meant that it was a completely new beginning for her, with people she didn't know so she could start things the way she wanted to, and leave her past mistakes behind. Though, she had to admit, America was a bit of a culture shock for her, because it was so different from France. The country was bigger, with food portions that made her head spin, and everything looked like an amusement park to her. She was also surprised by how 'machine-like' some Americans are, who were always going from Point A to Point B, making it seem as if they have no time to sit and enjoy the scenery, and it perhaps explains why some people choose to dress in pajamas or sweats and go out in public.

Lucette and her parents live in a condominium in the Skye District that overlooks the city and the sea. It is a tall condominium complex, comprising of 30 floors, her family living on the 24th. The place was designed mostly by Pons, and has two areas of the house. There is the entertainment area, where Pons and Arthur hold their cocktail dinner parties (for Pons' drag queen sisters and Arthur's business associates), and their living area, comprising of their bedrooms and living rooms. Lucette likes to call the condominium a penthouse, and is actually very content with her new home. She's not so content with living in Teufel Town itself, as nothing in her mind is as great as Paris, but she'll have to learn to deal with it.

Pons Gagnon // Trampe L'oeil (45)
Lucette's flamboyant and rather energetic father. He is a well-known drag performer in France who goes by the name of Trampe L'oeil, and moved to the United States when there were bigger opportunities presented to him. He loves dressing up his daughter whenever the opportunity presents itself. Pons requires that his daughter calls him 'Mama', much to her amusement.

Arthur Harrison (40)
A businessman from the United States, who is the other father-figure in Lucette's life. He has been with Lucette and Pons since she was 4. They both get along rather splendidly, and both Lucette and Pons admire his intellectual prowess. He is also back in the United States now with them, residing in Teufel Town, but regularly returns to France, much to the envy of Lucette.

Genevieve Prevot (??)
Lucette's mother. She left the family when she found out Pons, her husband was a drag queen, among other things. Lucette harbors a resentment toward her mother for not accepting her father for who he is. Lucette doesn't have much of a recollection of her mother, as she left when she was still an infant.

As you can see, Lucette loves florals and pastel colors, as well as shoes. Shoes, shoes, shoes.

She owns more clothes than you could possibly ever hope to own.

We are slightly envious of her closet space.
