 ΑμȒҘɩɩҘ remember again
inside a world of broken words you cannot hide you try to find the reasons why, as days collide
the seconds keep on passing, without a sound, you turn around and as you walk away I call to you 【☾━━━☾━━━☾━━━☾━━━☾━━━☾】 Nervously, Aurelle opened the large wooden door with the cold golden handle and the beautifully carved designs. She was really anxious of if she would look good. She wanted to meet some new people too. When she heard about this ball, she wondered if this was a good place to meet friends. Though, she was wearing a pearly white strapless gown with a bow on the back of her waist and on the back of her head, and her hair was lightly curled at the end, Aurelle was worried she didn't look good. Then, the sight of the room hit her. The room took her breath away. The colorful glass ceilings were spectacular. And Aurelle had never seen so many tables and decorated chairs in her entire life. She loved the touch of the red bows too. The music hadn't started and only a few creatures were here. She guessed she was probably early. Aurelle looked around, not knowing where to sit or hang out. She didn't want to hang around in a corner either. Aurelle looked around for a clock. She wanted to know the time. When it was night time, her body glows like the moon, since she was a moon spirit. Biting her lip, Aurelle looked worrying for a place to hang out. 【☾━━━☾━━━☾━━━☾━━━☾━━━☾】 don’t you let go take a look around, you are not alone if you’d only stop and close your eyes find the answers, you’d find the answers
when you feel like the world is falling in and you can’t seem to find the way back in don’t cry just hear these words and remember again ◕ ◡ ◕

~:Shikyo Strife:~ Not long after the white haired girl stepped in another girl came in as well. Shikyo stepped in as well and saw that this ball was almost like a ghost town, no one was here yet except for some girl she didn't know. She was in a long white dress that brushed the floor and had spaghetti straps, also having on what looked like a black dress underneath it to reduce cleavage. Small clicks from her heels could be heard on the hard floor as she looked around for somewhere to sit and chose a table off to the side a bit, it was a good place where she could get out and socialize easily yet stay a bit hidden as well if she chose to. Aurora SolindoUsually, Aurora was one of those students who only managed to get to a dance just in time for the last couple of songs. Yet for the Gothic Ball, she'd managed to get ready earlier, and looked forward to spending the evening chatting and talking with a few friends. Her outfit had given her an excuse for a shopping day, and she had fallen in love with the leopard print almost immediately; that, and she was more than happy to be four inches taller with her boots. After taking a quick peek into the room, she found it dim enough that she wouldn't be able to just spot anyone from where she was, so she entered fully and began her pursuit of a familiar face. Rebecca LawrenceJust once, Rebecca wished she wouldn't be forced into a social settings. She would be more than willing to spend the evening with one or perhaps two of her friends, but she wasn't looking forward to being around a large crowd for so many hours. Yet, her brother had promised that the event would be good for her, and even she realized that she would never gain complete control of her abilities unless she stretched her limitations. So, here she was, wearing a dress of poofy purple material, with a black bodice and shoes. Luckily, her usually finicky brown hair was neatly pinned up in curls, courtesy of her roommate. Fingering the pearls of her necklace in nervousness, she went in ahead of her group, determined to at least make an attempt at socializing tonight. Lorina JinnTonight was going to be a blast. Lorina had her date, which was Richard, as the two had always chosen to go together to parties when they were single. Most importantly to her, she'd found the perfect dress to wear. It was cute, but she'd made sure to find something that also went with a pair of her practical converse. Having the plan to spend plenty of time on the dance floor, she wasn’t dumb enough to wear heels…again. No, her feet would thank her for that later, but in the meantime, she was ready to get inside. After a quick inspection of her friend's appearance, she turned and entered the room with her usual flourish. Richard LawrenceAlthough he didn't much like crowds, Richard knew that he could hardly force his sister into such if he didn’t go himself. Granted, he was much more experienced with his abilities, and he had Lorina there to keep him occupied. While her outfit demanded attention, his suit was far more subdued; it was just a simple black tux, with pink accents to match his friend's feathery dress. After the mini inspection, they entered the room, and his eyes wept over the occupants already inside.

Simon sauntered into the hall tugging at the collar of his shirt, his suit having not been worn before was a little stiff and a tad uncomfortable, he'd come here for the purpose of seeing new people, and getting an idea of who he'd like to socialise with, heck, perhaps he could scout out what the women looked like, but that was rather secondary, he looked about, noticing a woman wearing a white gown, she looked cute, but he felt it best to talk to the woman in the Purple dress, he felt she looked cute, and nervous... he didn't understand but he walked up to her and from a reasonable distance called out to her, "Hello there!" he said, enthusiastically, not having someone to talk with, or even to be around put him on edge, and he supposed that was what this girl was feeling... albeit that was just an inkling.

Huh? Oh, hi. I'm Rebecca Lawrence. With only a handful of students present, Rebecca was glad for the many open table. It gave her an excuse to pick where she would sit, but she paused her pondering the moment before she heard a voice adress her in a greeting. Taking a breath, she did her best to close off her mind from other's thoughts, but not before finding the reason for which she was spoken to. Letting out her breath, she focused on appearing upbeat as she turned to face the boy. He wore a nice suit, pinstripe she believed it was called. That, doubled with the fact that he was trying to be friendly caused her to give him small smile with her greeting. "Hi." For a few moments, she debated on what else she should say when approached by another person. Was she supposed to say a joke...or something? Just this once, she wished that she was more like Lorina, or her roommate, who could create a conversation over anything. Well, it wasn't as if she has anything to be shy over, and she was fairly confident that her abilities would remain under check for the evening. After another second, she decided on what she felt made the most sense, which was to volunteer her name. "I'm Rebecca."

Simon smiled, she looked cuter as she smiled, "Avalon, Simon Avalon." he said he looked about scanning for a table, perhaps a seat would provide an easier environment in which to talk, she seemed nice, but light travels faster than sound, thats why some people seem bright until they speak, regardless he saw a table and he said "Care for a seat?" he gestured to the table he'd found, it was located near the outer fringes of the tables, away from the centre of attention, but close enough to make themselves easily accessible, Rebecca seemed to be thinking a lot, it could have been nerves... or she could be repressing something, either way, he'd continue talking with her.

Already regretting her decision to come, Ciel glanced about the room nervously. She was dressed rather oddly for her personal style, but she had wanted to match the theme; her brother had been of the opinion that her dress was a bit too short, but the girl had promptly decided that meant it was just right. It covered everything just fine, and even while sitting the shorter front part of the dress reached half way to her knees. It took all she had not to fuss over everything, not wanting to make a fool of herself. Her lavender hair was pinned up, her bangs curled under just enough to differentiate them from her normal style. Sighing faintly, she moved to sit at one of the tables quietly; her brother's entrance didn't go unnoticed, but she made no move to go speak with him. Maybe later, if she still hadn't worked up the courage to talk to someone. Solomon slipped into the room behind a small group of students, adjusting his vest as he moved to stand to the side of the door. He wore a black dress vest over a dark grey shirt and a bright blue tie. His pants were a simple black, though he had chosen to wear canvas sneakers that matched his tie. Even though Adney had insisted that chaperoning wasn't so bad, the new teacher had still been hesitant; there were still plenty of students that he knew from his own student days, and he had worried that perhaps they wouldn't respect him as a teacher. Pushing the thoughts from his mind, Solo surveyed the room, spotting the other chaperone as well as a girl with blue hair. He studied her a moment, silently trying to figure out whether it was the girl he knew or not. Still, he didn't move from his spot in case it wasn't; he had outgrown some of his shyness, but not enough to speak to a pretty girl that he didn't know. And, since he wasn't currently teaching, he would allow himself to sulk in his own shyness. Stepping into the room, Asta surveyed it carefully. Students were beginning to pour in, and she would be taking up residence at a random table to take notes. She wore what she always did to the ball, having obtained the dress her first year there. She was very fond of the outfit, and since the Gothic Ball was the only place that the dress was entirely appropriate, she had taken to wearing it every year. Her long blonde hair was wavy and left loose except for a sparkling clip holding back part of the left side. Seating herself at a random table, she flipped open her notebook to a mostly blank page. Tapping her lip with the tip of her pencil, she eyed her surroundings as well as the other people present. This is what she came here to do; study the other students. Entering the room from a back door, Emile studied each of the figures present. It seemed that the other teacher that he had been told about was already present, or at least just getting here. It didn't matter either way, as students had only just started arriving anyway. He glanced at his own attire, straightening the teal vest that matched the shade of his hair over which he wore a a black tail coat and under which he wore a dark gray dress shirt. His slacks matched the tail coat in shade, and were the nice he'd owned. It was a suit he didn't think he'd ever have the chance to wear, though since he had inherited it from his father, he had never had the heart to get rid of it. The suit was in surprisingly good condition, and actually looked quite new; he often suspected his father had bought it thinking it looked 'cool'. Ah well, he had no complaints. At the last minute, he had tied his hair back in a small ponytail at the nape of his neck after his sister had insisted. His eyes fell on said sister, who was across the room and seated at an otherwise empty table. Normally he might have gone over to speak with her, but he had been given strict orders from her to keep his distance. A look of amusement crossed his face as he moved about the room.

Aurora Solindo | OutfitWithin a few minutes, Aurora was reminded of exactly why she usually chose to arrive to parties 'fashionably late'; the beginning was just so boring. None of her regular friends were here, and she didn't have a clue as to whether or not her roommate would feel like coming tonight. Walking about without any real direction, she almost bumped into Bella, but just barely managed to avoid speaking with the woman. Instead, she kept walking until spotting yet another familari face. This person, however, caused a small smile to form on her lips, as she didn't think anything ill of him. Approaching Solomon, she waved a hand in greeting before speaking when she was close enough. "Hello." Now that she was close enough, she almost laughed at the realization that he didn't seem nearly as tall as he usually did, thanks to her shoes. For a moment, she wondered if it would be as funny once she was able to see her regular friends, who were all taller than the siren. Pushing aside the thought for now, she asked, "How have you been?" Bellatrix Solindo | OutfitAlthough she had intended to skip this dance, Bella had been told a week prior that she would be required to spend at least a couple of hours chaperoning. She didn't argue the result, as it was apart of her job to help out and she really didn't have anything else to do that night anyways. Still, she hadn't arrived as early as she'd planned, but as she walked in, she was able to note that most were just arriving as well. Glad that she wasn't abhorridly late, she simply walked among the students, as she had no specific location to take care of. Looking down as someone brushed her arm, she frowned at the sight of blue hair and a familiar face; however, she didn't have the opportunity to speak, as the siren continued on her way without a word. Glad to have avoided what would have been anything but good news, she kept walking as well. Rebecca Lawrence | OutfitGiving a small nod as the man introduced himself as Simon, she perked up lightly at the suggestion of sitting. Despite how nice she thought her shoes looked, the heels were already making her feet begin to hurt, so she gave another nod, this accompanied with, "Yes, thanks." Sliding into a chair beside the table he'd motioned to, she chose to speak again. "How long have you been a student here?" It wasn't too hard to get a conversation going, she decided, it was just staying detached enough not to interfere with a person's mind. Whenever a topic grew too interesting was when she knew she would have trouble, so she would pick her questions carefully. Lorina Jinn | OutfitNow completely inside, she was able to scan the room, eyeing those inside. One guy looked like someone she'd seen at the Club Rush, but she didn't know him well enough to say anything; plus, she hadn't exactly been polite, if she was remembering correctly, and she knew that such things were usually remembered. Instead, she spotted a familiar head of purple hair, though it wasn't down as she'd last seen it. Approaching the table, she dragged Richard with her, ignoring his whisper as she exclaimed, "Oh my god, Ciel, Hi~ She flashed the girl a smile, stopping at the table where she was seat, leaning against it slightly as she continued, "You look so cute!" Richard Lawrence | OutfitJust as he was about to go speak with a man who he shared a class with last year, he felt himself being pulled in another direction. Usually, he would argue, but when he realized who they were approaching, he went along instead, though he did manage to whisper that she was being loud. Once his friend has gotten her loud compliment out of the way, he was able to give his own greeting. "Hello, again Ciel." He flashed her a smile, then allowed his attention to wander slightly, as his sister had appeared in the corner of his eye. Surprised that she was already speaking with a person, he gave his attention back to the girls in front of him. "Having fun?"

Koran Koran decided that he didn't have a formal looking cosplay outfit to wear to the ball. So instead he chose to wear a traditional dark elf outfit. A white dress shirt, black tunic and leggings with boots in the same color. All of it was lined with silver. The teenager looked around the room for some one that would be worth while to talk to. He wanted to work hard to get a girlfriend. The first person his eyes laid on was an elvish woman. He wasn't sure if she was a college student or a teacher, there was only one way to find out. That was flirting with her. The teenager walked over to the woman and tapped her shoulder. "Excuse me. I couldn't help but notice that you look rather beautiful." It was something that could be used to as a complement or a form of flirting. Len Richardson Len was a little more formal than normal and he was happy about it. He was hoping that his lovely wife would show up and dance with him. If she didn't it was understandable. He could always have a dance with one of his teachers. There was nothing wrong for a married man to do group bonding by dancing. Miguel The young man could have gone with a super formal outfit, but he decided against it. He was not wearing an angel outfit for a dance. That was a skirt in his book. Well It was probably more a dress. The teen chose a normal button down shirt and some slacks. He wasn't as formal as the others in the room. He just wasn't that type of person. John Running-Bear Unlike some of his peers, John was not afraid to show his heritage in formal wear. He did wear a black tux with a black tie, but He had some feathers dropping from his hair in an elegant way. He made sure it wasn't tacky. He helped to greet students who were coming into the ball room. It was one of his favorite duties.

~:Shikyo Strife:~ Shikyo was pretty bored as she was sitting at one of the tables, she knew just about no one in here. She looked around a bit and saw the people coming in and recognizing two of them, she got up from her seat and went over. "Hey Miguel." She said loud enough so he could hear him over the din of people. Though she did notice his lack of formality with his clothing but he still looked great in it so he could probably get away with it. "How was your practice?" She asked just to start up a conversation. ((OOC smile )

Miguel turned the girl who asked him about what it was like at practice. His untucked shirt moved a bit at he turned. He smiled at the girl . "Hey. Yeah will it was good, but I probably stick. I could only do a quick sponge bath to get the smell off of me." He commented. He even lifted his shirt up to take a smell of himself to make sure he didn't stink too bad. He looked out around the crowd and his eyes landed on one girl. "Excuse me. I need to as one of the soccer players some questions." He told her honestly as he moved away. He didn't really understand if a girl liked him or not.

Looking up at a very loud greeting, the girl smiled in response to Lorina's exclaimation. "Hi Lorina. Hi Richard." she looked at each of them as she greeted them, trying to keep any shyness or nervousness from her face and voice. She looked down at her dress at the compliment, unused to such things, but she didn't say this. "Thanks. I like your dress." it was a bit poofy for anything she would wear herself, but she thought it suited Lorina. Richard's question threw her for a loop, but she managed another smile. "Yes, though I wish my brother would stop looking at me every five minutes." she made a pointed look towards a teacher standing across the tables, who diverted his attention as soon as he was spotted. The girl sighed in exasperation, though a faint smile was evident on her features. "Are you two having fun?" she was quite curious, as since the two had come together, she assumed they must be enjoying themselves far more than she. Watching the door as people entered, her gaze drifted to a trio of students as one of them had spoken quite loudly; she didn't linger, though, and continued to glance about the area. She had ceased tapping her lips with her pencil, deciding not to fidget too much. No use drawing attention to herself, after all. The familiar face of Miguel drew her eyes, but it seemed that someone had already made the decision to speak to him. Ah well, the boy hadn't seemed especially fond of her when they'd met; the memory of the scolding because of her glasses surfaced, and she adjusted them on her face absent mindedly. As she aged, she had gotten better at focusing on things and now wore them mostly due to habits. That, and it was easier to distance herself from the wretched vampire lord and his minions when people believed she was impaired in some way; who ever heard of a vampire wearing glasses? As the girl with the blue hair approached, he came to the conclusion that this was, in fact, the girl he knew. He smiled as she greeted him, giving a small nod and a quiet 'hello' in return. He was momentarily taken aback at her sudden height, though managed to remember that girls often wore heeled shoes to events such as these; she was as tall as he was now, maybe a tiny bit taller, and while he knew tall girls, it was still odd for him to be on eye level with someone who normally was not. Still, it wasn't something he would comment on and so he instead turned his attention to her question. "I've been well. Botching painting after painting, as per usual." he smiled at his own joke, hands in his pockets to hide the paint that stained his skin. "And yourself?" he inquired, as it was the polite thing to do. That, and he was quite curious about this girl, though he would never admit it. More people were appearing, and the teacher did not miss the entrance of two of his coworkers and his boss. The woman he recognized from the day in the library, but he did not approach as it seemed that someone sought to engage her. His eyes drifted, once more falling on his sister. This time, however, it seemed that there were people around her. That was actually a relief, as he had been worried that she would sit quietly by herself all night. A faint smile crossed his features, though it vanished the minute she looked in his direction; he looked away smoothly, as if nothing had happened. The girl didn't like to be coddled, and Emile would do his best to go along with her wishes.

"Not all that long actually." he smiled, deciding now would probably be the most opportune time for him to get some questions in edgeways, "So, why are you here then?" he felt it was general enough, she could answer why she was in the school at all, or she could answer why she is at this Ball, either one would be interesting certainly.
