Reminder: these matches are one pokemon per person, but like a Gym battle you'll roll to see who goes first before sending out pokemon. It doesn't matter what order you post those introductory/order-rolling posts. The battlefields are a plain concrete floor, no bonuses or penalties to anyone. I would like it if people finished their fights in three weeks or less, purely in the interest of keeping this tournament moving, but it's not required.

Kytti walked onto the battle floor and smiled. She tossed a pokeball into the air, it split open with a flash.
Willow jumped to the concrete floor with a soft bleat.
”Let's do it Girl!”, Kytti cheered.

 Zephar entered the stadium, a single pokeball rested on his hip. It held his stubborn Zebrastrika, Clyde. He wasn't in uniform, why would he be dressed up as a Galatic Grunt for a Tournament it was absurd.
He took his spot on the opposite side of the stadium of his opponent and was quite pleased to see that she had a deerling out next to her. He hoped it was the pokemon that she would chose. It would be a perfect opponent for Clyde to beat. If he listened to his orders that was. Clyde had a tendency of driving his own battles.

(( I am thinking I will have to withdraw from the tournament. I have too much stuff going on Real Life and have very little time to surf anymore, and it would be unfair for people to wait for me. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. ))

(( Going to try and see what happens, not sure how time consuming it may be, if it gets too much of a hassle, I will withdraw ))
Kytti smiled at her Deerling and cheered her on, "Hit the Zebrastrika with Swagger!"
Willow stood straight up, took a look at the pokemon and then started to move to one side, then suddenly changed directions, took a few steps, stopped and leaped into the air. Willow landed on her hind legs, bleated shrilly, then stomped down and spun in a circle.

Seeing that his opponent had indeed chosen her deerling as his opponent he grabbed the single pokeball from his belt and tossed it into the air. "Alright Clyde your up!" 1000hp "Strika" the electric zebra spoke as its black form materialized from the bright white light in which the pokeball had released. Giving a snort the stubborn pokemon stopped its front hooves as it eyed the deerling which was his opponent.This was their first battle together since the blitzle had evolved into a Zebrastrika and he was hoping that Clyde would actually listen to him now. Often times in past battles when the Zebrastrika was a Blitzle it would often go out and make attack decisions on its own with out planning. Well it was now time to see if his hunch was right or not. "Clyde Flame Charge. Electric attacks won't do much against that grass pokemon!" he called out.Pawing at the ground with its left front hoof, then with out much hesitation the fully evolved pokemon charged as its speed increased its body was encased in flame as the dark Zebra aimed to ram its flame body into his opponent.[ Move Used in This Post: Flame Charge] [ Moves Used Thus Far: Flame Charge] [ HP: 1000/1000] Damage Done: 150hp Damage Received: None - Attack missed

Willow was struck by the flaming charged pokemon and was doubled over, sprawled to the side.
"C'mon Willow, we can do it!" cheered Kytti, "Hit it again with Swagger!"
Willow stood and bleated again, and jumped to the left. After a moment, she took a single step to the right, and shook her hind quarters. She dropped her hind legs down, leaped into the head and thrust her pelvic area towards the pokemon.
"Really.. She HAD to do that?" Kytti thought to herself.

"Clyde lets go with another Flame Charge." It had been effective enough so why not stop with something that works.
He gave a small snort, using the same attack over and over wasn't his style. His body began to glow as he began to charge up his attack power with Charge Beam.
Giving a sigh he gave up. "Fine use a Charge Beam." It looked like Cylde wasn't going to listen much after all.

"I don't think this is a dance contest but ok, let's do it Willow!" Kytti cheered.
Willow took a step to one side, reared back on her hind legs and cooed gently. As she landed, Willow turned a circle, paused a moment and jumped into the air. As she landed, she rolled to one side, then the other.
"No barrel rolls needed Girl," Kytti thought to herself.

When he was hit with the Swagger his head began to spin with Confusion. Another snort escaped him as he stomped his front hooves upon the ground. His ears flattened back and with idle focus the Zebrastrika charged at his opponent, flames encasing its body near the end of his charge.
"Fine, do what you want." He muttered.

Willow was again hit fiercely from the charge attack and spun to the ground.
"Let's try Swagger again!" cried Kytti.
Willow spun around and lowered her head, then gracefully lowered herself to the ground, hoping it would work.

Zephar leaned back on the trainer's stand watching his pokemon work the battle himself
Clyde shook off the swagger and then began to charge tiny partials of electricity in his mane. Once he had gathered enough electricity he sent though out in a wave at his opponent.
"Electric attacks aren't going to do much." he muttered shaking his head at his pokemon's poor attack decision. "Just stick with the Flame Charge next time!"

This time the Zebrastrika was hit with the swagger attack. Shaking his head the pokemon tried to focus, his body began to heat up and flames once more began to surround the electric pokemon. Stumbling it charged at his foe.
