Ѳnce upon a time...
Ҭhere was a beautiful young shepherdess that stood watch in the fields night and day, always watching the sheep that she loved dearly. She watched the sheep for her old and frail father, whom had been injured one night by a lion beyond repair, and never once felt regretful about spending her days in the meadows with the sheep. She might not have felt regret, but she did feel horribly lonely and wondered if there was a life for her elsewhere. Upon asking her father, he allowed her to go to the city in order to sell the wool and buy herself a new hat to wear while in the fields.
Ҭhere she met a young chimney sweep that was shabby and poorer than a church mouse, but they fell desperately in love. Alas, she had promised to her father to return the next day and told her lover that she would return again soon. She told him to look to the stars at night and that she would be looking at the same one, so that they would never feel apart. And she stuck true to her word and returned several weeks later with new wares and they talked of marrying. As they were speaking to each other, the prince caught sight of her and instantly fell in love with her.
Νow, the prince whom was raised to be strong-willed knew that he desired to have the shepherdess by his side for the rest of his life. Though his favorite companion and lifelong friend, the royal mage, warned him that she was already in love and would regret taking her away, he ignored her wise words and ordered her to be taken to the palace. There he told her that he loved her and that he wanted her to be his bride, but the shepherdess refused time and time again. Soon he had grown so angry that he vowed to kill the chimney sweep if she didn't marry him as he desired and she began to cave in, but she knew that if she didn't stay strong that she would lose her will to live.
During the shepherdess's imprisonment, she had happened to befriend the royal mage, whom pitied the girl that her love had fallen for, planned a way that would allow the chimney sweep to come to the palace and save the love of his life. She brought the chimney sweep to the palace as a 'hired servant' and prayed that things would begin to move along more smoothly, but it just made everything worse.
Ƀut perhaps the worst will make things turn out for the best? It is your turn to take up the quill and finish writing the story that would last a lifetime.

① Follow all of the Gaia ToS, guild rules, and all of the rules that will be stated below. I have the right to kick you out of my RP if I see you breaking them.
② Cursing is allowed in small doses. We are NOT sailors, so we don't need to swear every other word. It gets annoying when all you read are *s and @#$%s.
③ Romance is seriously encouraged! Every RP is in need of a good kiss every now and again to get your blood stirred. Alas, we may not cyber.
④ If it ever gets too the point where it gets too hot for your character and they need to take their clothes off with someone, then I would prefer it if you PM me and ask for a time skip, because no one likes to read moaning and groaning. PG - 16!
--> BTW :: This is a straight RPG, which means that there won't be any yaoi or yuri. It's not like I'm against it, but not here, please! <--
