The Story:
3 years ago it happened. What everyone thought was just childish fantasy, thinking it wasn't possible for such a thing to occur. A "Death Cure" was announced world-wide. Apparently a way to bring back people who were only recently dead. It was tested, and deemed a success..... If they only could imagine what would happen next they would have never put it on the market. Something went horribly wrong. Every patient afterwords came back only partially. Their minds gone, and looking only to spread the infection that flowed through their veins further. 5 months it took to topple the U.S. Then the rest of the world soon followed suite. The military has put several successful quarantines up around the states, but most people chose to make their own colonies. This is a story of a small group of survivors who unravel a horrifying truth about one of their own, and about the conspiracies that were hidden under the ruins of the old world.

Its been three years since he original outbreak, many people still live, but not close together any longer. The infected are everywhere, the slow rotting dead walk the streets. And the fresher, recently bitten prowl at night. The U.S. Military has a base of operations just outside our city, but as far as we know the only organized group of survivors is ours.
