Biography:
Everyday Life
Roxie has always been shy and unable to make friends. As much as she wanted to, she always retreated when people approached her. The only time she spoke was when asked a question by teachers or when spoken to. In school, she was at the top of her class but still often ignored by others. She often cursed her shy behaviour for being the obstacle between her and a social life. Outside of school, Roxie plays guitar, being a talented guitarist. She'd been playing since she was a young girl, having a natural talent and affinity for the guitar. Not only could she play guitar but she could sing too. Her talent for playing was known only to her parents and her younger sister but not even her parents knew she could sing, hiding her voice from the world. The only one she sang for was her sister.
Talent Show
One day, the school announced a talent show coming up. This was an opportunity, a chance to make friends and finally open up. Roxie swallowed her courage and decided to play on stage, her family fully supporting her. She went so far as to buying an outift, with her mother's help of course, to wear on stage. Roxie stayed up late, practicing on a song to play and sing, though she only practiced singing when she was alone. Then came the night of the talent show and her nerves were through the roof. She was sure the entire school was here, the rows packed full of people. Backstage, she waited as one person after another went up on stage, displaying their talent. As her turn was next, the person ahead of her pulled off a crappy magic act and was boo'd off stage. It was that which made her turn and leave through the backdoor.
Death
Roxie stepped outside, slamming the door behind her. She choked, she didn't go on stage...she failed. It was cold, really cold but that could've been because of the outfit she wore. Even so, that didn't stop the tears that soon followed. Those tears soon came to a stop as she heard a commotion around the corner. Rounding the corner, she witnessed a student being beaten by a gang. Powerless to stop them, Roxie watched as one of the thugs pulled a knife. Of all the times she chose to speak, she shouted "Don't!", drawing their attention to her. They realized this girl was a witness to their actions and pursued her as she ran. She ran and ran, knowing that if she was caught, they'd most likely try to kill her. Soon, Roxie didn't have to worry about being caught or anything else as she ran into the street and met her fate with an oncoming car.
