It's been too long... Jerry was bound to find out sooner or later. She pressed the edges of her palms against her eyes to repress the urge to cry again. Sasha was still out cold.
Fine. She sighed irritably before fishing out her phone and giving the screen a bleary stare before sending off a text to the man.
Text to Jerry Jerry, can you grab the coat and bag left on the training grounds and meet me in room 3 of the infirmary? Need you here ASAP.

Jerry had been tidying the room, keeping himself busy when he heard his phone. He had just been wondering where Sasha was at when he picked it up. A text- it was probably her! It wasn't her. He frowned, reading carefully... Oh goodness, Rin- he had completely forgotten the poor woman. Hopefully she had... shaken it off as well? It wasn't forgiving, it wasn't forgetting, but in the grand scheme of things, he had to let go or he'd lose his mind. He hoped Jordan felt the same way. He also hoped Rin hadn't done something stupid. Byrr Text to Rin: Is everything alright? I'll be right there.

Rin frowned grimly at the responding text and after a short thoughtful pause, fired off a reply.
She felt sick, he was never going to forgive her for this. Not this time. She scooted her chair closer and gently stroked Sasha's hand, "He'll be here soon Goldy. Don't worry."
Then she resumed a hopeful quiet staring as if she almost expected the woman to suddenly wake up and respond.

Jerry's worry only increased by the time he made it to the training grounds, spotting Sasha's coat and bag ominously laying in the grass.
Why was... there was blood, the coat was ripped, what had... oh god... Panic gripping him, he picked up the items before bolting to the infirmary as fast as he could go, clutching both items tightly to his chest, "Rin?? Sasha!! Oh... oh god what happened?? Is she okay? What did you do??"

Rin physically cringed as Jerry's voice called out. She couldn't turn to look at him, couldn't turn to answer. Not yet.
Instead, she reached out to gently pat the chair she had set up at her side, eyes still fixed on Sasha, watching her every breath keenly.

Jerry's breath came quickly as he spotted the bandages, dropping the coat and bag as he practically threw himself into the bed, "S-sasha? Sasha, are you alright? Did... did someone attack- " Oh god, was it Rep? Had the man finally snapped and decided to ruin more than just a flute? The panic was welling up in his chest, his face trembling with panic as he gently reached to brush her hair out of her eyes, feel and listen for breathing, try to gt the buzzing in his brain to stop. Byrr I did but was helping wrangle end-of-Prom stuff XD <3

"Will you sit down?" Rin scolded softly with a hiss, "She's going to be okay it was just...," she trailed off thoughtfully with a frown.
"We were having a duel. Her... shield broke," she offered the man a glimpse of Byr who was still caked along the edge in blood that had not yet dried completely and crumbled away.
After that though she avoided eye contact completely, it wasn't an easy thing to admit - nearly maiming your best friend. Possibly even could have killed her.
I'm trying...

"You... you did this during a spar??" He knew personally that spars could get... heated. He had the scars on his chest and chin to prove it. But with everything going on, it was...unfathomable. "Why didn't you just STOP if you knew she was weakened?? Oh god, Sasha please wake up..."

"Jerry, you don't think I wouldn't have? She looked ready for more. She hadn't implied otherwise...," she sighed and lowered her gaze a bit further, "My horror was just as great as your own when I felt Nona give way under Byr. I wasn't expecting it any more than you were expecting..."
There was a vague sort of attempt at using her hands to gesture at Sasha, alll of Sasha, "...this."

The man simply wobbled, eyes glassy as he stooped over Sasha's unconscious body. Gently, wearily, he sat and leaned to rest his head against her unwounded arm, lacing his finger's with her's... and desperately tried to swallow the building panic attack.

Rin watched Jerry quietly for a time before sighing and propping her head on the edge of Sasha's bed, watching her again, "I'm sure she'll be up and fresh as a daisy soon... as if nothing happened."

as if nothing happened.
Things came into existence with surprising clarity. There was an undoubtedly sharp pain in her shoulder; Sasha could remember what led up to receiving the wound, but nothing after that.
Groaning softly, Sasha rolled her head carefully to the side and did her best to creak open her eyes. The first thing she saw was Jerry's worried face.
She groaned again.
"Can I have some water?"

Jerry jerked back in surprise at the sudden soft voice, his expression going from alarm to relief as he gently stroked the side of her face to pull her hair out of the way, "Oh... oh thank God! Er... yeah, yeah- Rin could you...?" He glanced up, brows still knit before gently trying to take Sasha's hand, "H-how are you feeling?"

Rin shot Jerry a blank unreadable look before leaving to do just that. It didn't take her too long to head into the hall and retrieve water from a non-runed water cooler and return to offer it to Sasha, "Here, can you sit up to drink on your own?"

Sasha squeezed Jerry's hand briefly, clenching her jaw as she pushed herself up in bed. The pain wasn't incredibly severe - sharp, yes. Throbbing, yes. Unforgivable, absolutely.
She merely nodded at Rin as the other woman returned, disentangling her fingers from Jerry's so that she could lift the cup to her lips. After taking a sip, her jaw tensed just slightly before she spoke.
"Stupid." Her voice was dry. She took a long moment before turning to Rin, mouth wrenching slightly.
"I'm sorry."
