So I'm not going to make this introduction long and elaborate. I consider myself a decent writer, and generally I mirror what I get- the more I have to work with, the more I'll write. I can provide samples if you want, but I don't feel the need to decorate this thread and make it overly pretty.
So let's get down to the business, and what I'm craving...
What I'm Craving
Fire Emblem, Lucius/Raven, though I'd settle for anything from either the Elibe games or Tellius ones. I love playing Soren too.
I don't have too much of a plot planned, because I doubt anyone would understand it if I did, and if there is someone out there who knows of the Fire Emblem series and is interested, it'd be more fun to brainstorm.
Other Plots
Steampunk- could be hetero or yaoi, I've never tried yuri before, but I can if you like.
For this we have a medieval sort of setting- where characters still use swords and bows etc. rather than guns and modern weapons- but they have steam based technology, like trains or flying ships etc.
Because of this the world relies heavily on steam, resulting in lots of water consumption and many heatwaves because the used steam was released into the air....and so scientists etc. created ways to genetically modify steam so that less steam could power more while still not generating heat- thus saving the water supply of the planet and preventing heat pollution.
However, this genetically modified steam had an adverse effect on the animals of the planet, mutating them into mindless creatures obsessed with blood, they began attacking each other as well as people, and those infected soon were driven insane from the same mindless bloodlust.
The story could be about a character, or characters, living in one of the few places the disease has not yet reached. One day they decide to venture outside, perhaps out of curiosity if nothing else, only to discover not only the animals madly insane, but that the plants and very air was poisonous. They lose consciousness in this wilderness, and are saved by a group of animals (in my head it's a pack of wolves for whatever reason, but it could be anything- even people or elves etc.) to a nearby dilapidated building where the air is still clean somehow.
When they wake up, they find that their rescuers can speak- they too had been infected by the mist, but rather than driving them insane with bloodlust, it had driven them to their greatest height of power and intelligence.
Truth be told, they explained, the disease the mist gave out did not simply drive people insane with bloodlust, but rather increased their physical abilities... along with their primal instincts.... Most creatures are dominated by their need to feed- hence the mindless attacks on other creatures. However, if one could overcome the primal instinct, they could use their new powers freely.
The disease of the mist was actually a disease of the mind, and since the group had traveled out into the forest and breathed the toxic air, they were infected too.
Aand.... I dunno.... I haven't come up with a concise idea after that.... I guess if they manage to get control of the disease and their powers, they'd have to set out to find the scientists responsible for creating the steam and make them stop producing it lest the world be destroyed.
Neverland Concept- this could be either yaoi or hetero, as Peter Pan is involved- who is a male. I would play Peter.
We know Peter Pan as the boy from Neverland who would never grow up, the boy who can fly through the sky. We’ve heard stories of him coming to our world and bringing children back to visit his… But we don’t know the entire story.
All those who visited Neverland always left- they went home to their families, and to grow up, and to forget Peter. Peter pretended he didn’t care, but he inwardly wondered why he didn’t have a family, and why everyone chose to stay with their families and grow up instead of staying with him. One day he decided to leave Neverland, even though he didn’t have a family, to grow up like everyone else… but he couldn’t…. Not entirely. Much in the manner that no one from our world could stay in Neverland, Peter was eventually drawn back to his own world.
He became bitter that he couldn’t grow up, particularly towards those who had the opportunity to do so, but chose to waste their lives partying and disrespecting their families…. So he hatched a plan. He’d destroy the people who had the opportunity to grow up but wouldn’t, so that maybe he could take one of their places in the real world.
…And that’s how he came to you.
You were drawn in by sweet promises of endless partying and eternal youth, and went with Peter to Neverland… Now it’s up to you to make sure that it’s not a place that you’ll ‘never’ return from.
I'm not sure how we'd go from there, but maybe whomever Peter's victim is would slowly convince him that the world wasn't against him, and win his heart?

Humans live in a world with technology run on magic. Once, they enslaved elves to work the machines, but as they became more advanced, it became apparent that something with more stamina was needed- thus they sought to use science to create 'genetically modified elves'. Humans infused with an elf's energy.
However, there is a fatal flaw in their creation: because they are not pure elves, but rather humans essentially fused with an elves' energy, they cannot entirely control his magic, and as it continues to grow more powerful over time, it will takes more of a toll on their body when they use it. Eventually this very magic they were created for will be the death of them as it will destroy them from the inside out.
Ordinary experimental elves can last around fifteen years of constant magical work before dying from severe exhaustion and magic depletion from running the magi technology. However, outside of these stress based circumstances, while normal elves can live what seems like forever, a genetic elf has never lived beyond 35 years.
The only sign of this death coming is the changing color of eyes- genetic elves all start off with green eyes, but as their magic grows stronger and their bodies grow weaker their eyes turn red. Beyond this they do not feel sick or have any mentionable symptoms, but if they use magic they may experience difficulty breathing and sickness temporarily- the more they use magic, the more harsh these temporary sickness bouts are.
Even if one of these genetic elves were not to use magic, they'd only be prolonging the inevitable- for the power of their magic will destroy them eventually no matter what they do as it continues to grow.
Usually the final moments are sudden- the victim will lose control of their magic, and release an incredible amount of energy. If they are not brought back to reality and stopped before they go completely over the edge of their body's ability to maintain magic, they will either disintegrate from the sheer power their bodies can't handle, or mutate into mindless beasts that will die not long after.
Anyways, it'd be an interesting story to see a supposed 'inferior being' win his way into the scientist's heart, and what they did from there. Whether they escaped or not.
Wonderland Concept!
Everyone has a wish.... And it would be truly wonderful if all wishes could be brought into fruition.... But alas, many people have worked hard to achieve nothing, and many people more have achieved that something and lost everything in turn... And yet, despite the futility of it, people always keep a wish in their hearts.
Perhaps that's why the shop just one day appeared- perhaps it was just the mystery surrounding wishes given a tangible form. Because not everyone can see it- only those with a desperate wish in their hearts can- those willing to risk it all for the sake of their wish.
The owner doesn't have a name, he's simply known as the Mad Hatter- because you'd have to be quite mad indeed to barter with him at all.....
"But..." He'll flash a devilish smirk at you, "I can make your wish come true.... For a price, that is...."
You see, for him to help you with your wish, you must give up something of equal value to him; in return, he will give you a pocketwatch. Now that might sound silly, but that pocketwatch does amazing things... It allows the user to transform into something entirely new with incredible powers.... Those powers are different for every person, because the watch only gives you the means to obtain your wish, for the Hatter knows if you don't obtain the wish on your own, you don't ever truly obtain it at all.
Thus the pocketwatch could make you fly, it could let you turn invisible... The possibilities are limitless...... But there are some rules that come with the game- and the hatter will tell you not to break them....
"Though I certainly won't complain if you do..."
1. You cannot tell anyone about the pocketwatch and the unique abilities it gives you.
2. The pocketwatch does not tell time, rather it tells how long- specifically how long you have to complete your wish. You must complete your wish within this time or you'll lose your chance.
3. Corresponding with rule number 1, do NOT use your powers for any means other than completing your wish. The more you do so- even if for good reason- the more time you lose to complete your wish.
4. Should you complete your wish in the scheduled time, you must return the watch to the shop and give up your powers- in return, you will receive what it was that you gave up for the watch in the first place.
5. "I have a 'no return' policy... Once you start the game, you have to play until you win.... or lose.... Heh heh...."
If you fail to follow any one of these rules, you will not only lose your 'watch' abilities, but the Hatter gets to keep your payment. In other words, you'll lose forever whatever treasure you gave up for the sake of your wish.
So what is your wish? To find love? To kill someone? Perhaps something deeper? Would you risk everything to get it?

I think with this one, the person could either use the watch to try and gain someone's love or kill them, or they try and win the Hatter's heart. We'd have to think of actual events to happen, but it's a cute plot.
