It was summer, the time for summer vacations, swimming, staying inside while the rest of the world turned into a blistering, unbearable hell (or it would have been, back at Gwen’s old city). Destiny City was much more tolerable, which made during her evening rounds all the more easier (though she was sure to pack a LOT of deodorant regardless of the different climates). It had taken no time for Gwen to slip out of the apartment and into the underutilized tool shed, making her transformation and sneaky out without being seen. Day by day she was getting used to this charade, and maybe it was just her, but Sailor Tsui loved being a Senshi. She liked having power that she could control (for the most part), liked having something to do every night, even if she only had a small understanding of her role in the grand scheme of things, and it was a good distraction to her problems as a regular school girl. She didn’t have to worry about not having many friends to hang out with, or the fact that she felt like she was the only fifteen year old, soon to be sixteen come the tail end of July, that didn’t seem to have a boyfriend. Sure, she had a few crushes. Jett, that nice young man from the Valentine’s Day dance, among a few others (some… not of the traditional variety), but nothing that she’d dare call a boyfriend. And in truth, she wasn’t really looking for one. She was told they happened on their own if they were meant to be, and when the time came for Cupid to take aim, she’d hoped that she was ready for it. For now, she was Sailor Tsui, proud Senshi of Tigers, and she had a mission. That mission, for now? Dark alley patrol! Most of the youma encounters happened in an alley, and that was where the tiger would take her hunt.

Another night and General Benitoite was out and patrolling the city. Powered up and moving casually through the dark allies of the city he kept to the shadows as he walked with a certain amount of confidence. Being a General now he was more sure of himself and what he could do, that he could defend himself if he needed to and aid others who may need his help - not that there was anyone out really.
Picking up on the feel of a senshi he headed that way, changing directions to head for the senshi, he had no plan to fight them. The new orders rang in his mind, reminding him not to seek a fight. He was sure if he had to defend himself that it would be understood, he wasn't about to let some senshi assault him and get away with it. But he didn't have to go seeking out the senshi...right? No, he did. He needed to see what they were up to and who they were, were they some new senshi he hadn't seen.
Cape billowing behind him as the cold wind blew he flipped his hair out of his face, he did not need his hair flying about his face and blinding him.

Sailor Tsui might have been inexperienced, but she didn't need experience to sense that there was something coming her way. She slowed her pace, from the brisk walk to a complete stop, and she looked around the alleyway that she was in, looking for either the source of the dark energy she felt, as well as a possible place to hide. Whatever was approaching her made her skin stand on end and for something, anything, to cause that sensation in one as reckless and brave as the Senshi of Tigers, that meant that they were strong. 'Youma, or Negaverse? Maybe even a Dark Mirror Senshi...' Tsui mused to herself, standing closer to the wall and waiting for the source of the energy to reveal itself. 'Either way, better be ready...'She curled her fists but kept them at her side, not wanting to appear too threatening but preparing herself for a confrontation. Finally, she caught sight of him; long, dirty blonde hair was the first thing she saw, which lead to his cape and then, his face, and Tsui felt herself grow cold. He looked familiar... her golden eyes were wide and her mouth slightly gaped open, a clear sign of her astonishment that she failed to hide, and for the first time in a long, long time, the Senshi of Tigers couldn't say anything. An impressive feat, if one knew Sailor Tsui.

Turning to face the alley the elegantly dressed agent let his eyes scan over te darkness. "I can sense you..senshi." They felt weak, not that it said much. They could be a super senshi or simply a senshi, he was thinking just a senshi, either way he could handle it if they wished to turn this into something more than words exchanged.
"You can stop trying to hide, it won't work for long and I know your here." Meaning he wouldn't leave, not when he knew they were here. They were just hiding on him, or trying to. did they forget he could sense them as much as they surely felt him?
What he didn't know what he'd stunned someone, someone who had seen him while they'd been powered down and he was powered up. Someone who had seen him as a Captain and not known it and was now seeing him again and in a different uniform. Oh what a lovely shock he was unknowingly giving them. Instead though he was clueless as he waited to see who this senshi was, and what they would do. Would they try and start some fight or would they simply trade insults with him? Either way he felt confident in coming out on top.

'Well, cat's out of the bag...' Tsui couldn't laugh at her own joke, and she stepped out from behind the dumpster she was standing behind, making sure to put her brave front forward as she did so. Yes, not that he was standing so close, she -definitely- recognized him. He was the one at the dance, though his attire was much different from before (though that wasn't a bad thing; the cape did had a more dashing look to him). She wanted to address this fact, but she was hesitant, and with good reason. She was nothing more than a civilian then, and if he remembered her from the dance, then, by proxy, wouldn't he know her identity? Certainly NOT a good thing... even one as new and reckless as Tsui knew that! "Well, you certainly look... formidable," said Tsui, here fists curled but not raised yet. It was a sign that she was prepared for a strike, but she would not be the first one to land a blow. Her recent experiences with other members of the Chaotic side left her... more cautious... when on her patrols, and she figured that someone with as strong as an aura as this one, she knew that she was likely outmatched. That didn't mean she'd back down from a fight if the time came, but only that she would reserve her Tiger Fist Strike for when she really needed it. Wait until he got closer, if a fight was his intention. "Never saw a Negaverse lieutenant like you before, what with the flowing cape and all... let me guess. The one I fought before was a Robin, and you're a Batman?" Maybe she wasn't too quick to strike with her fists, but words? Tsui had plenty of those.

"That's because I'm not a lieutenant, I'm a general which would indeed make me formidable." At least for her, she was no super senshi. She was the lowest rank, though perhaps not new she was likely still inexperienced. If she had experience she'd have more power, higher rank.
Looking over the senshi's form, taking in the curled fists at her sides, and the odd hair to the fairly tame uniform he smirked lightly. She would certainly not be forgotten by him, he'd be writing down everything he could remember about her when he got home.
If she had wanted to make a good comparison, in his opinion, perhaps she should equate him to a Death Eater. Robin and Batman while both heroes also were not in possession of powers, which he was though nothing like senshi had, and he was influenced by darkness unlike Robin and Batman who while they fought for the good of people they were not about it in a vigilante good way, unlike the Negaverse who while fighting for the good of the people didn't go about it in all the 'good' ways.
"Do tell me, what are you doing out tonight, all alone...?"

So far, neither one had exchanged blows, and this was certainly a good thing for Tsui at this moment. This was a General, a rank higher than Lieutenant, which Tsui figured was the equivalent to a Super, and Tsui had problems in the past with facing against Super Dark Mirror Senshi. Still, that didn't mean she was going to allow him to walk all over her and continue on with his nefarious plans, whatever they may be. Now that she thought about it, what WERE the Negaverse up to? In response to his question, she shrugged. "Patrolling the streets, keeping them safe, you know the ordeal. I'm just a tiger prowling the streets on her own, like they have a wont to do." She may have been putting off a playful, snarky facade, but her mind was whirling. The guy she had danced with and grew a kind of crush on many months ago was a Negaverse lieutenant, now General... she had been dancing with the enemy, and she had no idea! She was contemplating a way to approach that subject, but the fear of her identity being revealed to the enemy did NOT settle well with her. No one had told her not to reveal her identity, but it was simply safe to assume to not allow that to happen. She had seen enough super hero movies and shows to know that keeping her identity a secret to be vital for various reasons. But, she had to know... "So, you know what I'm doing. What about you? Any special plans, secret weapons?"

Rolling his eyes as she spoke he waited till she was done speaking before he did so himself. "If your a tiger your a cub...correct?" He questioned. He really wasn't scared at her and was pointing that out, not to mention he was pointing out how new she seemed to be. Though the fact she wasn't spouting off about how evil he was, or the Negaverse, was something to be glad for. He did get sick of hearing such nonsense.
"I do believe I am doing the same as you are, though your aura gained my attention. Beyond that no special plans." What sort of plans would be special? Setting up some big plan to gather energy? Not that such a thing was permitted anymore. "Secret weapon...in a literal sense? If so than yes, but not something I'll be showing you simply to assuage your curiosity." He stated calmly. While he spoke his weight shifted so one hip jutted out and his arms came across his chest in a loose and calm pose.

Tsui had a feeling that this Negaverse general wasn't as thrilled to be here as she was, though it wasn't that farfetched an idea. He was a general, rank about Lieutenant, and likely more experienced with confronting Senshi by now. He's likely seen plenty of different types of Senshi in his time, and he certainly didn't recognize her from the dance (which was both a relief and depressing to her). Though the fact that he had the nerve to call her a cub almost made her growl, but she supressed the impulse and merely crossed her arms over her chest. "Even cubs have their teeth and claws, you know. Care to test them?" Despite the threat, she didn't move to strike him, and she was surprised that, despite how rude he was, he was being remarkably civil. Of course he was; he was the same gentleman that danced with her many months ago, though now that wonderous night was slowly becoming a frightening realization to Tsui. After that dance she felt so tired, exhausted, drained. Especially after she danced with him... Her golden eyes narrowed, the suspicion in them clear as day. He was definitely up to something, but what? She wasn't looking for a fight, but she wasn't just going to allow him to harm another person, or, if her suspicions were correct, get away with harming her those many months ago. "From what I've heard, the Negaverse takes people's energy against their will, so you know I'm not going to believe that you're just on a harmless patrol. I'm new, not completely stupid. Who's your victim this time? Some kids? Old people? Maybe... an unsuspecting young maiden that'd fall for your pretty face?"

"If I were to test them I can assure you that you wouldn't like the result." He spoke calm as could be, though confident as well. "I could easily...declaw you." His voice dropped to something of a purr as he took a slow step closer to her, his boots lightly clicked against the ground.
Lifting one hand, the frilly lace draping and falling downward as his hand covered up his laughter. Slate eyes though gave way the humor he felt, and that indeed his shaking was laughter. "You've heard what you've heard but I'm sorry to inform you but your information is terribly out dated. As for my victim of the evening there is none, but as I just said the information you have is terribly out of date. And even if I were out to collect some energy it would be none of your business from whom I'd be collecting, especially since I don't know until I find someone I wish to borrow from." He spoke, taking another step closer to the senshi.
"To be honest I find you to be rather assuming and a touch rude. But amusing none the less. So new and believing of what your told, it's quaint." He spoke while lowering his hand to his side slowly, his movement graceful and a smile plastered on his face.

She wanted to be angry at him for acting so smug, for calling her rude, but she couldn't really stay angry at him. And it wasn't just the dashing good looks or the memories of that Valentine's Day dance getting the better of her. He did have a point. She was assuming that he was lurking around, and she was rather rude to assume that he was automatically up to mischief. Ever since becoming a Senshi, things were complicated, and Tsui didn't like it. She was told, countless times, how the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court were the forces of Chaos, and yet, they always seem to display the completely opposite behavior when she ran into them, with the exception of that one. The one that made her hesitant to allow the general get any closer to her, and she let him know that he was entering dangerous territory by raising her fists and only flashing a hint of the white aura. No, she wasn't going to charge, but she didn't trust him to come any closer. 'Navi was cool and collected before she went psycho... not falling for that again.' "That's close enough, General. Not unless you want a fight, anyways." Tsui knew nothing about the new Negaverse objective, but given his rank and the way he carried himself, she knew that it should have been HER that didn't want the fight. But she wouldn't back down. Her pride wouldn't let her. "We can keep this civil, physically anyway. Though why would a force of Chaos want to avoid a fight?" It was genuine curiosity from Tsui. If he could take her out easily, then why not charge? With those good looks, he could easily seduce a young girl or even an older woman into giving up their energy... he HAD done it before, Tsui thought angrily, but keeping this to herself. She wanted to know, and though she may not get an answer, she'd at LEAST try.

Why was it that almost all senshi behaved the same? They all seemed to think the same thing about those who followed chaos, it was annoying and quite repetitive. They all seemed to think the same, or similar, a thing about them and no matter what you said it came back to them thinking the Negaverse was evil. Benitoite had only met two who weren't like that, he'd still want to bring that senshi of spiders to the side of chaos if he could.
Stopping in his tracks he watched her, standing still and calm as he kept his eyes on her. "I'm not seeking a fight this evening. I'm out to patrol, make sure none of my fellow agents are in need of help." He didn't want to see some new agent caught out at night and in need of help and unable to get help. It was because of this that he was out patrolling.
Reaching up, with his right hand, he pushed his hair back and tucked the strands of ash blond hair behind a single ear. The hair on the left side brushed his cheeks and framed his face. "Why would I fight you? It would be far more beneficial if I were to talk instead and perhaps show you the wrongs in what you've been taught, or simply told." Thinking on that meeting months ago and the words spoken about bringing senshi to their side, corrupting them. He hadn't tried it yet, talking to them and swaying them, not like he was now. Or at least not in a while.

Tsui was still suspicious, despite his good looks and calm nature, but at the same time she was still genuinely curious. She knew little to nothing about the Negaverse, and now was as good a time as any to get a lesson about her enemies. Or rather, 'so called enemies' since this fellow seemed to believe that they weren't the bad guys. So, Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers, had propped herself onto of the dumpster that she was once hiding behind, and she took a seat. The way she sat, with her legs crossed over one another, elbow to knee and chin in open palm, showed her complete interests and willingness to listen. If that wasn't enough to show her intentions, she stressed the notion with words. "Okay, then talk, pretty boy. I'd love to hear how an agent of Chaos isn't really evil, despite being an agent of something that most people conclude to be evil." It could easily have been taken as a mocking tone, but there was still genuine curiosity beneath it. Since she was never going to get a straight answer from her allies, then perhaps she could get some kind of answer from the 'enemy'. "Trust me, if you and your kind aren't evil, then I should have all the time in the night to listen to your story, given that I don't have to patrol the streets anymore." Then, she flashed him a smile, her golden eyes alight and the three dashes on her left cheek all the more noticeable from that angel, giving her an almost Cheshire cat look. "Carry on."

One could take her words as mocking but with her sitting as she was he didn't take it was such, she also seemed as curious as could be. Seeing as she wasn't going to insult him or in anyway fight him he decided this was a chance to talk and educate. He'd done it before and gotten into debate about it, really it was worth it in some ways but in other ways it was annoying.
Leaning himself back against the brick wall of the alley, across from the senshi, his arms came up and crossed his slender frame. "As far as I've been told this story starts a long time ago with a princess and a prince. The Prince of Earth and the Princess of the Moon. It would seem that she loved him and her mother wanted to take over the Earth and rule over the people of Earth as if they were her own. The people of Earth rose up, or enough did, and challenged her with just meager weapons no magic or anything.
To try and keep it short just figure the battles were not easy and somehow, this I do not know, other senshi were involved as well. In the final battle the palace on Earth was invaded by the people of Earth as they sought their prince. Making it to the throne room they found the Moon's Queen and not willing to let go of her power she unleashed an attack upon the people. Some were frozen and others became youma.
It is because of this we fight the senshi now, reborn senshi as you all are, wanting to send you off the Earth and back to your home worlds. This isn't your planet. The story is longer, at least when I was first told it, but I won't take your time and keep you here for it. That is the cliff notes version. We are fighting to keep the Earth and it's people free. Should that Queen return or the Princess...there is no telling if the freedoms of the people and the Earth will be taken again." Trying for a bit of the dramatic ending words as he kept his eyes settled in the senshi's general direction.
"How is it evil to want to keep the people of Earth free?" Questioning her with a slight tilting of his head.

Tsui loved a good story, so when his explanation took a Once Upon a Time narrative, she couldn't help but feel a little giddy. FINALLY, someone was going to give her some kind of explanation on the Negaverse! She half wondered if it was as tragic as the Dark Mirror Court, though, by Kallichore's lasting words, she was certain that there was nothing that could compare to that. Still, she listened with an open mind, taking in every detail and trying to imagine the events in her mind as he finished up his little story. She was certain that he was leaving out details, but she thought little of it. It sounded as though it was done a long time ago, so no doubt certain details were forgotten through the years. Sure as hell more than she knew. When they had reached the end of his story and directed that question at her, it took a moment for Tsui to come up with a response. She thought about it for a bit, but she answered truthfully. "I suppose it wouldn't be evil... but then, who is to say that once the Queen or Princess does return that they will be in danger, or enslaved?" Tsui shrugged to show her honest confusion, and she held nothing back. "I mean, okay, I get it, the people of Earth were worried about this Queen on the moon wanting to enslave them, but... was there any proof? And why, because their princess fell in love with the Prince of Earth? Not sure how that could be considered threatening..." She leaned back and stared up at the sky. He had mentioned wanting to send all the Senshi back to space, but that notion just seemed rather silly. It was space! She was fifteen years old with an imagination, but even SHE knew the impossible endeavor that was. "You know, you say that this isn't our planet, and you know, maybe you're right. But how do you plan for us to leave? Gather us all in a giant spaceship and just send us on our way? Got the funds for that? Because last I checked, a certain president canned NASA." Then, she snorted. "It's not like we can click our heels and head back home. At least... no one told me we COULD do that. That'd actually be kind of cool, to go back to space so easily." She trailed off for a moment, as the thought of being able to traverse through space now intrigued her more than this war and what started it.
