He had heard the whispers of change. He hadn't imagined it could be anything of this scale though, of this majesty! All around him the sounds of battle raged, and the small man smiled to himself as Risath came back with a response from one of the revolution fighters. They were welcomed. Welcomed! One small insignificant man and his small insignificant brown, dismissed as mere rank and file for so long, but no longer! No more bronzes ruling over them, no more stupid flight politics. The future was bright, and all he had to do was deal with any foolish traditional riders who got in his way!

M'lan had been at the demostration but when the proverbial hit the fan, he's returned to the Weyr, emerging close to his quarters back home, only to find
that it was overrun by Whers and their handlers... in fact everywhere he looked they were all over. Shards no.... they'd just set fire to his hut?!... OH HELL NO... Asoth roared and flew close, the air pressure from his wings, thankfully putting out the flames rather than fanning them. He didn't dare land just yet, there were Whers down there... and their handlers looking very aggressive indeed. Instead he flew towards another rider, depositing M'lan before moving a dragonlength away from his Rider. "Rider... Help me" M'lan called to L'or, not for once suspecting that the man might not be on his side "There are Whers.... everywhere, we've got to help... they're attacking everyone!" he said, his eyes wide.

"Help you? Ha!" L'or laughed and sauntered towards the other while his bondmate hissed at teh far larger brown. "Why the shaff would I support a regime as stupid as the Weyrs when given a better option?" Smirking at the younger man L'or beckoned, his brown eyes light brightly by the nearby fires. "Show me how much you value your archaic systems"

M'lan just stared... "What... what is going on?!...." his eyes moved to the smaller Brown who was hissing at Asoth.. why would he be doing that?! "Rider... what..." M'lan didn't understand what was going on.
Asoth's eyes flashed red at the aggression from the other dragon, he stood and backed up a little, wings flaring wide as he snaked his neck and hissed back, baring his teeth. "Mine, i do not think they are friendly" Advised the large Brown who was trying to make his way towards His.

M'lan realised he'd not brought his belt knife with him as soon as Asoth told him that the man ... and dragon... weren't their allies but their enemies. He saw one of the drudges ran and knocked a sack over and M'lan risked running and making a grab for them.

At first Asoth was just surprised at the lunge and didn't jump away from the other Brown coming at him, he just stood with his wings flared. Until the sting of teeth grabbing him. He roared at the affront, "No one has Silenced ME!" he said angrily, grabbing at the other Brown with his claws, attempting to tear into the face of his attacker to get him to remove his jaws. "You are Wrong... this ... is WRONG" he bellowed as he struck out with his claws.

Risath: Attack roll. Attacking Asoth As the larger brown's claws ripped into him Risath gave a scream that was half rage half pain. With ichor dripping down his face he tried to sink his foreclaws into Asoth and tear at him with his hind.

M'lan saw the club raise and in 'terribly slow motion' ... come down, catching him on the shoulder as he tried to turn away from it. It glaced off the side of his face and he saw stars. Blinking he tried to move away from the man... at least long enough for him to see straight again.

Asoth, Attacking Risath
Asoth drew back for a moment as Risath went for him, avoiding the attack. "No.... this is NOT right we should not be fighting each other... we should be fighting THEM... without us, who is going to fly Thread when it falls?" Bellowed Asoth in return.
He paused when he felt the connection from M'lan go slightly hazy for a few moments. "MINE!?" he reached out with his mind and was reassured His was alright. He lunged forwards at the other Brown again, teeth bared and claws raking to sink into whatever part of the other Brown they could, wanting revenge against the one that had hurt His but making do with his Dragon.

L'or: Attack Roll using club. Attacking M'lan. He didn't really like the thump his club made when it hit human flesh, but he could not, would not be denied any longer. "You could still join us!" he panted as he raised his club again. "Or you could run. Don't make me do this!" The club came around once more, aiming for M'la's ribs.
