Rin gave her phone a fond little smile, this experiment should at the very least prove to be quite... amusing. A perfect distraction. It was good to be home... but memories quickly beat the woman down upon her return. She wasn't willing to face any of it yet, not really.
She wandered down the hall, pausing here and there to to rap her knuckles against the wall in varying beats, surely she would figure out several by the time she reached the Life lounge.

Cass actually had very little idea of how to Rap. Like, she understood the jist of it, but not the entirety of how to pull it off well. Hell, she didn't even know what she was going to do, but she figured she'd just make an idiot of herself in front of a bunch of Life Hunters and it'd be awesome.
After all, who was going to judge her?
Oh right, everybody, but did she care? NOPE!
Never the less, she was fortunate to at least have a vague idea of where it was she was going as she walked down the halls, counting off on her fingers as she seemed to mumble to herself. Some fingers were touched longer than others as she took a few extra tries to figure out a better word or turn of phrase than she'd already tried.
It was pretty hard. Good thin she didn't write poetry or something like that.

Arriving, Rin peered inside - it was quiet and Cass wasn't there yet. She moved over to the fridge to inspect, opening it to look at the insides, a normal fridge? She frowned a bit, okay, she's VERY sure now this is just a prank so she knocked veeeerrry lightly, testingly, until Cass were to show up.

Prank or not, that didn't stop Cass from her haters-gonna-hate walk into the room, her hands on her hips as she looked at the fridge - and Rin, who was apparently there before her. That made sense, actually.
"So this is the rapping fridge, huh?"

Rin looked up at Cass as she entered the room and ceased her knocking to smile, "Yeah but it's not responding to my approach to 'rapping'."
"Hi by the by, I don't think we've formally met yet," she approached offering Cass her hand, "As you know, I'm Rin Alder - was a moon, am new to life now."

Cass gave Rin a lop-sided smile.
"I know who you are. We've....met." Cass replied, but never the less she shook the older woman's hand. "Sad to hear it doesn't appreciate your rapping, though. I can't say mine is going to be much better, however."

"Not met met though," Rin flashed a grin, "Twitter doesn't count."
She moved over to grab a seat and watch curiously, "We can take turns trying things I suppose. Never know what might appease a bookie."

"Mmmm.." Not what she'd been referring to, but Cass wouldn't remind Rin that she'd thrown words at her. That was the past, after all. "That's true." she laughed.
Cass looked at the fridge, putting her hands on her hips before she cracked it open to see what was inside, making a sort of puzzled face. "I think I might be afraid to actually touch anything inside of this.... but man, what do you rap to a fridge?"

Sadly Rin had no memory of this so she smiled softly to herself looking puzzled at Cass's question before digesting it and daring to attempt an answer, "Hmm... I recall there were a few juice boxes in there - rap about those? Maybe the fridge would appreciate you complimenting it's... juice..."

Cass broke down into immature giggling almost immediately at the suggestion, leaning against the fridge to keep from just hitting the floor.
"I just......and juice boxes....and the straws..and the..." snickersnicker.
What exactly had popped into her head. "I could make it sound so wrong."

Rin smirked, "A dirty birdy are we?" that was the best kind of person in Rin's book.
"Go on girl, rap it," she attempted to urge Cass onward. She was really really curious now and wasn't keen to be left out of the fun.

Another grin from Cass. "You could say I am sometimes." She made a point to leave it at that, though.
Never the less, it seemed like it was time for her to do some rapping..about a fridge and some juice. Oh, she so could do this, she just needed tooOooooo... Cass took another minute to actually count off on her fingers.
"Alllriighhttt. I bet Dwight has a few cameras in here to catch me making an idiot of myself, buuttttttt..."
She coughed into her hand before she actually DID begin her rap.
"I could sit here all day trying to think of a rhyme but I'm not quite a poet we don't got that kinda time
You're just a fridge I dunno what I expected Someone said 'just do it' so I said 'challenge accepted'
Hey Mr. Fridge Man eavesdroppin' on my rap-rap-rap Hey Mr. Fridge Man answer to the tap-tap-tap
Bettin' Pool Bettin' Pool Making me look like a fool
Bettin' Pool Bettin' Pool Making me look like a fool
Rap on the door Tap on the door I know you're watchin' Waitin' for me to do more
Rap on the door Tap on the door Go on and on Show us what's in store
Bettin' pool Bettin' pool Making me look like a fool
Bettin' pool Bettin' pool Fridge-Man thinks He's just that cool
Spendin' all your time Catchin' all my rhyme Take a picture it lasts longer take bets on this rap you Betting-monger
Hey Mr. Fridge Man eavesdroppin' on my rap-rap-rap Hey Mr. Fridge Man answer to the tap-tap-tap
Bettin' Pool Bettin' Pool Making me look like a fool
Bettin' Pool Bettin' Pool Making me look like a fool"
Cass kind of knew how to put on a show too, as she got really into rapping at the fridge. Even if Juice had been sadly omitted from it.

Rin watched Cass, she watched her unblinkingly. One could say she looked somewhere between stunned and horrified as Cass's rap drew to an end. Instead of horror however she was met with Rin standing and applauding, "Oh my god Cass - that - that was awesome! That is the best rap, ever!"
She moved over to the fridge again and pressed her knuckles to the surface, "I'll try to follow that 'fat' beat," she grinned to herself at the ridiculousness before with a thoughtful hum attempting to repeat the melody with a louder knocking. Her rear swaying to the beat.

Cass's little shows could be met with any sort of variety of responses and she would have deemed them accurate. The point was, however, she had fun with it. "Was it? I was just kinda..having fun. I bet Dwight caught it on camera too." she laughed.
Which meant everybody was going to see Cass's fridge-rap at some point.
Never the less, as Rin tapped on the fridge, Cass made an attempt to boogie along with the 'beat' of it, half humming along where she could follow. "You're not too bad yourself, though. It's hard to come up with a cohesive tune, man."

Rin eventually drew to a close and frowned at the fridge, "I'm apt to agree. It seems there is no bookie - but there's been plenty of boogie and that is just as good."
She smiled at Cass, "Thank you, I appreciate it," then she seemed a bit lost in thought for a moment, "I can't remember if you tried out for Jerry's band?"
