User ImageVasilissa huffed and puffed, body sheening with sweat. She was ready to collapse; to give up and call this hopeless and herself useless and weak. But she didn't. Sucking in a breath, she pressed forward, slashing her horn at the bark of the tree before her. As much as she didn't want to admit it, there was not a lot of technique in her attacks. It was a lot of running and slashing, pausing so she wouldn't hurt herself. And while she was getting stronger thanks to the exercise, it wasn't the same as having a life partner to spar with. Someone to tell her when she'd messed up; to give her pointers and a sense of technique.

The sun shone brightly in the small clearing, the canopy above thinning enough to let the light and warmth through. A small stream was a little ways behind her and she paused, turning and making her way towards it. There wasn't much more she could do; so it was best to take a break now instead of forcing herself to take one later when she was injured. The water was bliss and she submerged her whole body in it; shuddering at the sudden cold.

Dunking her head under just a little, she sipped until she was satisfied. She didn't move from her spot; enjoying the break a little too much. "This is beginning to get boring.." She sunk a little and sighed, blowing bubbles in the water and frowning a little.
