Japanese enthusiasts....what did I eat?

I went to a chinese buffet today and they had a sushi bar. I ate something there,....but I have no idea what it was.

I figured since so many people on Gaia really like Japanese stuff and sushi is Japanese (....right?), that someone one here would know what I ate.

Anyway, it wasn't one of the sushi wrap type things. I'm not even totally sure it was sushi. It was shredded in a pile and was this florescent green color.


So, erm.....anyone got any ideas?

Yeah, I think that's it! It wasn't labeled or anything, but I looked up wakame after I saw your post and looked at pictures and stuff.

Oh, I'm so glad I wasn't eating fish or something!

Something on the web said it tasted sweet, though....I didn't think so. Although, it tasted like it was in some kind of pickle-ing.

I've never really been a seafood fan and the only sushi I've ever had was vegatarian sushi - one time - cause my friends wanted me to eat fish sushi and I'm scared of it.

Sushi is something I have never tried. I always bring up if anyone wants to try out sushi but everyone is too much of a wuss. Guess I'm a wuss too if I can't go by myself.

But sushi is good. sad I love it. Especially the raw fish.
