I admit that I was completely floored in Oblivion when I was ordered to wipe out the rest of the Dark Brotherhood before becoming a Silencer. To me, as twisted as it was, the Brotherhood was the only guild in Oblivion that felt like a family. I felt bad about having to kill them. Did anybody else feel the same way?

It is regrettable that we lost so many loyal children of Sithis when the traitor was in fact a member of the Black Hand itself, but now they serve our Dread Father in the Void. There is no higher honor.

That is very true, Sir Lucien. I did not think of it that way.

I was astonished when he told me to do that. I was like "Isn't there another way? How about I just kill Chancellor Ocato instead?"

The Night Mother herself sent her children to Sithis, and became yet more blessed in his eyes for the deed. How fortunate, then, that such humble murderers as ourselves would have the opportunity to send those we love back home to Father?

... although I would miss them.

That is a very interesting way of looking at it. I have to say, I agree. However, at the time, I was very distressed.

Naturally, so was I. Extinguishing the bosmer, in particular, was... trying. She was hunting at the time, the last of my sanctuary, a vibrant woman stalking deer in a field. Her arrow caught the doe's heart, and my arrow caught the dear's...

I think that the main reason i felt bad is that they died believing that i betrayed them.

*Nods.* When I feel regret for the deed, it is generally for the same reason.
