I am so glad that the girls mother stuck up for her, more parents need to do. I am glad that the family left quietly instead of making a fuss as that might have caused more problems as well and pointing out to the pastor and how he told them one thing and preached another. They should be talking about loving people instead of hate.

Seriously, even if it is proven we are born this way and not a choice, we are still seen as wrong or bad? rolleyes

I didn't choice a lot of things in my life and neither did others, why should be hated, blamed or believed it was caused by trauma or rebellion or just a random choice we made one day. neutral

I wrote a topic about something similar in another guide to due being upset about people are being taught how we are wrong (the topic in this case was about masculine women (which describes me) and effeminate men as well as gay people in general and how they are trying to force everyone to change as they see it as a sin).

Her mother is right, I also brought it up in the discussion that words that the pastor said tend to bring more harm and made people fearful or hate themselves. That is not healthy.

We need more people like her mother in this world.

Edit-This is interesting (well I can't think of the right word). So I went to my dad and tell him about this and what they teach hatred instead of love and he said he was writing a response a guy based on a similar discussion and asking the same thing as this guy claimed to be Christian but said to kill other people (in this case Muslims, but who knows what else he thinks).
