 ]Akio poked his head into the room, grinning when he saw all the musical instruments. Found it! he called back to Lakota. He pushed the door open, walking to the center of the room. This is nice. he said, smiling.

She smiled, looking around the room she walked over to violins, piking one up and tuning it. Akio meandered toward the piano, tracing a hand over it's keys. He listened to the song, constructing a counter-melody in his head. Then he smiled, sat down in front of the keys and began to play. At first, the notes were choppy, but they grew smoother and smoother as Akio got back into practice.

Lakota smiled, opening her eyes watching him play. As she ended her song she set the violin down and pulled a chair over to him. Watching as his fingers struck the keys smoothly. She was almost amazed at how amazing he was with the piano. You're pretty good with the piano. She said to him. Hoping she wouldn't mess him up by talking to him.

I had a lot of free time as a child, and my brother was always going to recitals, so it was just me and my piano. Akio said, launching into a modified version of Fur Elise.

Lakota listened to the keys as they struck the sting, playing the music. Ah..same here...well in a way. I began to play the violin when my brother and I left my step-parents house. I went to the violin because it was easier to carry and bring with me then a piano. Though I learned piano as well. She said, crossing her legs, watching him play.

Do you know any duets? Akio asked, stopping his rendition of fur Elise. he turned to look at Lakota, patting the bench next to him.

Um..Okay...Lakota said softly, moving her hands to the keys, but she hovered them over the keys for a moment, thinking of a song. When she finally thought of one, she began to move her fingers slowly. Since the song she was playing was a slow song. She didn't know the name, but the melody of it was relaxing.

Akio closed his eyes, simply listening to the song. After a few moments he lifted his hands to the keys and constructed a harmony that supported Lakota's melody. Akio's harmony filled the room up, speaking of past hurts and futures filled with hope and promise. She really is a good piano player. Akio thought, letting the music carry him away to some far away place.

Lakota's ear's perked, listening to his harmony as she played the melody. She closed her eyes still playing lightly, her fingers moving over the keys smoothly. She liked playing the piano with another person. This is fun, and he is a great piano player. She thought to herself. She opened her eyes as her song was coming to an end. She removed her hands from the keys as her song ended.

Letting the song drift to an end, Akio smiled. You are amazing. he said, resting his hands on the keys for a moment before putting the cover down. No song that he knew could compare to what him and Lakota had just created together.
