 Roalan wandered about. For early summer it wasn't quite hot yet.. at least not for the early afternoon today. He walked by cafe's and deli's as he took his walk, listening to the sounds around him and taking in the sight of every passer by he met. Summer always brought out interesting noodles, and he wondered... What would he find today?

 The summer heat usually had Yaelic suffocating, dried up and in desperate need of water. But today proved to be decent, and not too bad. This allowed the aquatic to do a few well needed errands. With his back fins raised up high, he padded about. Lowly, he whispered to himself.
"Bread, butter... Cookies..." He began to name off the things he had set out for.

Roalan continued to plod along, turning a corner be a bakery. The smell of fresh baking bread was thick in the air surrounding the shop's entry way. It was then that he spied an interesting fellow. Sure, he'd seen Aquatics before.. but never so far away from a body of water. He decided to lean against the bakery wall and watch him for a moment, all the while the scent of fresh cookies and hot sticky buns baking tempting him inside for a snack.

After going through the list of things he needed and nodded. His head was down as he watched the ground, not wanting to look at anyone else. Yaelic wasn't a fan of speaking to others. But thanks to him not paying any attention at all to where he was going, he ran into someone- Roalan.
"OOF!" He paused before growling. "Hey, who the hell?!"

Roalan stumbled slightly from the jolt of being bumped into. "Woah-ho.. watch it there Mr, you go around looking at your feet like that What do you expect? The world to magically part for you like some divine action?"

"Tch, no. I just didn't expect an idiot to be in my way." He glared at the other male. He was annoying him already despite the few words the had exchanged with each other.
"Now, if you'll EXCUSE me, sir. I'll be on my way."

He couldn't help but chuckle. "In your way... you act as if I should have known better than to stand here.. surely you can see your reasoning has holes... no?"

"No, no my reasoning does not have holes." He rolled his eyes, flicking his tail a bit. "And perhaps you SHOULD have known better than to stand in that exact spot. At least for today!" Yae nodded firmly.

"Clearly there Are massive holes in you logic here. And to assume that I should know things are going to happen before they do.. well that's just sill and on top of it all Presumptuous and rude." He snorted curling his tail around him as he spoke.
