The Wielder's mission is to protect people across the universe from the Darkness/Heartless at all costs. If this mission is not accomplished, the Darkness will gain a foothold, then consume the universe in an infinite void of darkness, and Kingdom Hearts is doomed to be filled to the brink with nothing but evil.
