Located on the third floor in the right wing of the hospital she shared the room with two other people. Only a white drapery shielding her bed from the other patients view she stared up into the white roof. The IV attached to her arm irritated her skin a bit but she resisted the temptation to pull the needles out - she wasn't feeling well.
Sakura whimpered slightly, she hadn't won! She had promised herself - she had promised Christian that she would win the women's title.
She didn't really want the title for herself - Christy made a far better champion than she ever would but after Christian had protected her from Edge she had felt she should do something - something to show her gratitude towards him. He had done so much for her, given her a job and believed in her! And now? Now she was back in the hospital again...
Her head hurt.

The Former Woman's champ walked into the hospital waving to the rubber neckers who spun around looking at her. She knew that they couldn't really identify her because of her disguise. She was here to visit her friend on the third floor and didn't want to create a fuss. Stepping into the room she looked at the bed charts looking for her name. Smiling she walked around the curtian and took a deep breath unsure what she would be witness to. Pulling the curtian aside she greeted the Diva with a teddy bear and several get well balloons floating on multi colored ribbons.
"Hi there Sug, want some company?"

Giving Christy a weak smile Sakura bit her lip. Sakura didn't know who had won the battle royal, the last thing she remembered was someone wrapping a steel chain around her throat and then waking up here. How many hours or even days had she been passed out? She hadn't gotten a chance to ask any of the nurses.
"Yes."
She answered in a small voice. Was Christy still the champion? She didn't even know who had won.

She handed Sakura the bear and set the balloons in a corner of the little space she had. Bending down she kissed her cheek then stroked her hair gently.
"How ya doing Hun?"
She tried not to show surprise over the bruising and all the gadgets and machines beepling and blinking.

How was she doing? She had a terrible headache and she felt sore all over but she didn't think anything any bones were broken. The doctor that had talked to her an hour ago had told her she had suffered a concussion and had to stay for observation but how serious was a concussion anyways?
Actually, she didn't really know - she wasn't that good with all this medical stuff. Concussions weren't serious were they? Still, she did feel terrible... her stomach hurt from just thinking about how she had failed to win the Royal.
"I... I'm okay."
She lied. No need to worry Christy. Sakura brushed away the kiss on her cheek and stuck her tongue out - Christy had even brought her a< teddy bear... how young did she think she was.?
Sakura hugged the big teddy bear - Actually, this felt kind of nice.
"I guess I didn't win then..."
She mumbled, hoping to change the subject. Christy must have won the Royal, she had been such a dominating champion... no way she could have been thrown out by the few women that had still been left in the match in the end.

She smiled as she watched Sakura cuddle her gift.
"I was going to bring flowers but I was afraid you might have been allergic and then if I brought candy they might not have let you have it so I thought...everyone loves teddybears right?"
She set down in the chair beside the bed and frowned, shaking her head.
"I don't know what happened. Honestly. I was going to help you and the next thing I know I woke up by the barricade on the mat. If I find out who tossed me I'm gonna have a talk you know."
She pulled her feet up into the seat and hugged her knees.
"I didn't want the match, didn't want to defend...I was having personal problems and my mind wasn't in the game. As you see I haven't been working much. Christian gave me the time off I needed...but I'm back now."
She sighed and tossed her crimson hair back.
"I wish I'd have lost to you."

It was a good thing Christy hadn't brought flowers; Sakura might have loved flowers but she also had a sickly fear of touching them. Sakura hugged the teddy bear tighter.
"So... who won then?"
She asked. Christy hadn't really wanted to win the Battle Royale? It was the first Sakura had heard about it... fair enough, she hadn't actually asked Christy how she felt about being champion, but the other red head had always struck Sakura as fiercely protective of her title.

She stretched her neck out yawning.
"Nevada Killings I believe."
She bit her lip then looked in Sakura's eyes.
"I went to Christian before I came here and asked him how long I had to ask for the rematch I'm entitled to and he said to take my time in deciding if I wanted to persue it."
Her feet dropped to the floor and made a smacking sound against the cold dull tile.
"Do you think I should. I loved being champ. I just wasn't ready for the Royal because I had problems with a stalker fan."

Nevada? Somehow that name rung a bell in the back of her head but she couldn't quite place a face to the name. Sakura turned the Teddy bear around and looked into it's eyes as if she expected it to provide an answer for her - silly thing just continued smiling up at her.
"I think... I think you should do what makes you happy."
She hugged the teddy bear to her chest.
"If being champion makes you happy then go for it. You should always follow your heart you know."
It was something her mother had used to say before she had passed away - always be true to yourself and always follow your heart. Sakura didn't remember much about her mom since the red head had been very young when she had left them but she would always remember her mothers smile. She would remember her smile and cherish her words forever.

Christy noded then was distracted by the man who spoke out. Seeing it was Christian she excused herself and slid past Christian with smile.
"I'm going to the waiting room so you can have some privacy."

Stuck in a hospital bed like this she couldn't even assist Christian... couldn't even make him a cup of coffee. "I gotta say you really took an a** kicking out there tonight. I gotta say that it impressed me and that's coming from someone that takes the best a** whipping's in wrestling! You didn't win but, you went in there and gave them hell and held out allot longer then the so called smarks thought you would. I"m proud of you."
