Personality:
Being a young child, Yomiko can be a bit tough to handle at time. He becomes very attached to the people he likes and can be very easily annoyed by the people he does not like. He definitely has a habit of sticking his tongue out at anyone who may say something that he does not agree with or say something that bothers him. Yomiko also likes playing with his usual ball which he carries around with him 25% of the time, especially whenever he is stuck inside the castle. Yomiko is not a very temperamental person but he will get upset if certain buttons are pushed. One thing he cannot stand is someone teasing him about not knowing his mother.
Likes:
Yomiko has a deep fondness for sweets and sugar. If there is anything he looks forward too, it’s the chance to eat dessert food with his brother. He also has a love of round objects, especially the ball he is never without. Yomiko also likes taking a nap from time to time but being a young boy, that’s kind of an obvious fact.
Dislikes/ Hates:
Yomiko hates anything relating to academics, with a passion. He had always hated when his father had him reading books from the library and to this day never liked having to study but didn’t mind if a story was read to him. Yomiko also tends to reject the idea of being cooped up in small spaces but this is due to being sheltered by his father.
History/ Bio:
Yomiko’s history is one that is riddled with mystery since the moment of his birth. His father was an Elder Dragon, while his mother on the other hand, well… he does not know. Most of his life has been a pretty sheltered one, not knowing how the world progresses around him.
The first half of his life has been spent with his father, a pure blood Elder Dragon. Yomiko does not know who is mother is, in fact not many people in existence even know who Yomiko’s mother is. What Yomiko does know is that he is the only child born to the woman.
As for Yomiko’s life with his father, he was not really allowed to be on his own. Actually, Yomiko pretty much never left his father’s sight or side. It was something that Yomiko wasn’t really comfortable with but sadly had to deal. It was like this for the young boy for half of his life, although Yomiko’s father did gift him with a black and yellow ball that he holds dear to him to this day. Yomiko’s father knew that sheltering his son wouldn’t be the right thing to do for the boy, but it was to protect him so the ball would give him a small amount of fun at least. The true reason for the ball though, unbeknownst to Yomiko, is an artifact that would lead Yomiko to the location of his mother, when the boy came of age of course.
Yomiko’s father sheltered him for a reason though. Yomiko’s father believed that the young boy held amazing potential and an unbelievable amount of power to rival possibly any other creature in existence. Yomiko himself does not know about his own power or about the belief his father has, nor has he actually shown any sign of power but his father was sure that his son had power hidden deep inside of him.
As Yomiko neared the age 125, Yomiko’s father became increasingly suspicious and felt that his son may be used against him. Wanting to make sure his son was safe, Yomiko’s father hid the boy in the farthest reaches of his castle, not allowed to leave as the only way he would get to leave was either with his father or not at all. Yomiko quickly had to accept this but felt his father had good reason to do it. Soon after though, his father was killed and the castle was taken over and the boy was found by none other by the person who took over the castle himself: his half-brother Dante. At first, Yomiko did not like the man much. There was a slightly amount of tension from the moment they met and it lasted for a good while, maybe a few years. It was within those years, that the first real incident between them occurred but that was also the event that proved Yomiko was someone unique. Dante had suspicions about the ball that Yomiko held and wanted to inspect it. Of course, Yomiko was attached to this item so getting to the item was a task in itself. Then, Dante decided to try and pry the ball from the young boy’s hands. This, in turned upset Yomiko as the two continued with their struggle. After a few moments though, Yomiko held the ball as tightly as he could as he gave a slight yell as he emitted a strength that repelled Yomiko‘s brother. Yomiko did not realize what happened but his brother knew that the boy had immense power just waiting to be released. Luckily, this event occurred between the two of them, thus the man kept what happened to himself.
After that event, the relationship between the two had slowly changed as they began to get along. After time had passed, the two had become close like normal brothers, although at times, they still tend to bicker. He formed a tight bond with his older brother and loves spending as much time with him as he can nowadays.
