Pick your side here.
You only get to pick once per character and the decision WILL have effects on your character's future. Think wisely - what would the character choose?
All characters can choose any side - being a dragonrider does not exclude you from the Wherhandler faction.
To choose your side, simply use the following format in your post:
Player - Character - Dragon/Weyr - Profession - Rank - SIDE For assistance in picking your side here is some information regarding both factions: For the Wherhandlers 1. Wherhandlers are flexible and reliable, the humans remain in control. 2. The death of a handler or a wher does not guarantee the death of the counterpart. 3. Wherhandlers will manage the income and tithes, drawing fewer resources from Holders. 4. Rank is determined by effort and skill rather then size of bonded. 5. Whers are able to be transferred between handlers, increasing wisdom and knowledge over several handlers. 6. Population is easily controlled via the maintenance of eggs. 7. Atypical weaklings are not tolerated - all Whers must be strong and capable right out of the egg, 8. Whers are able to go more places and are not bound by the same rules dragons are. 9. Being smaller then dragons, they require less resources to sustain, reducing the impact on Holds. 10. Whers are able to do all jobs that the dragons do save for one - flying. In combination with all the other benefits does flight carry so much weight? For the Dragonrider 1. The traditional leadership of the world due to the role they place in society. 2. Rank is limited and determined by the dragon that is impressed. 3. Impression occurs only once - there is no do-over, no transfer and it is not optional. 4. Death of the rider destroys the dragon, death of the dragon destroys the rider. 5. Ability to flame, fly, and Between6. Cannot hurt humans. 7. Size of the beasts results in large tithes and living spaces - fewer fit in a given area. 8. Well respected and responsible for the wellbeing of the world. 9. Tolerate Atypicals for their unique abilities if raised correctly into adulthood. 10. Impression is limited by sexuality and gender.
