I'm on day three of the hives from hell. The rashes have migrated from my legs to my back, stomach, and arms. I've even got a bit starting up on my face even though I've started my first dose of steroids already. Maybe around the 24 hour mark they'll take full effect and get me out of this mess. D: I don't want hives that require months of shots and pills.

Yeah. My friends at the beginning of last year's school year got poison ivy. It stuck with him for about a week and pretty much spread to every part of his exposed body before settling.

My bro has some kind of unending poison ivy type issue now too. It's been a few weeks.
That sucks though Toon. I really hope you get well soon. Wishing you a swift recovery.

@Loki: Indeed. D: I look like a shock picture from google images.
@Brase: Has he seen a doctor? Even a little walk-in clinic would be able to fix him up with some steroid cream.
@Prince: Yikes!
One thing that's really messing with my head right now is that the vanillin that I had should be out of my system by now, but my hives roared back to life last night.
Could I be suddenly allergic to peanuts? The pie I ate that triggered the rash was a peanut butter pie, and last night I attacked some peanut better cups in my prednisone fueled eating frenzy. (facepalm) Didn't even occur to me until google said it was totally possible.

I had an old friend who was allergic to peanuts. She had a specific type of peanut free peanut butter. Could also be certain type of things trigger reactions though. Odds are you're probably fine it's just the hives being triggered as such. Once it passes you should be okay to eat that kind of stuff again...
... than again I am no doctor. ;l Don't take my word for it.

It's good to know light exists at the end of the tunnel, I'd go crazy living in a world with no peanut butter. I might take an allergy test after all of this is over so I can pinpoint what I need to stop eating though, I don't want this happening again. D: And if I'm lucky, I might not be covered in hives when I wake up for my 7am benedryl dose! (that's why I stopped texting by the way, I accidentally snoozed off mid-reply) rofl
Trying out cold compresses and thin sheets tonight and the cold compresses feel like Jesus. Freeze all the itchy away!

ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHKJSSDFS!
My own darn body heat triggered another set of hives. This is getting ridiculous as ********, why does my body hate me so much? Why was I not given a higher dosage of prednisone than this? Have I unwittingly become allergic to life?
I'd curl up into a little ball, but that would be counter-productive.

Haaa, I don't even know. *derpyface*
The hives finally went away even though I'm still super itchy sometimes and can't exactly remember what I did all week.
But man, I have tons of emails from pinterest about my food pins.
