The photo was of a pony. Desu-chan loved ponies. And by loved ponies she meant she wanted to dress them up and ride them and take the to pony shows. Ponies were also really goof for romantic carriage rides. She liked being carried around, and ponies were good for this.
So getting a pony to pin? She was grinning ear to ear, forming plans of how to get a mount.
She loved ponies.

Where did one find a mask for prom? The short horseman had done a bit of asking around, and heard of this strange, miraculous place called the "maul." That was where he was headed now, covered in robes, even his hair barely peeking from the cloth that was wrapped around it. He still had yet to acclimatize to Halloween--he was wondering if he ever would.
Slowly, though, the alchemist paused, looking around curiously. Now what way was that "maul" place again?

It's just a step to the leffftttt-- Fai sidestepped to avoid being jumped on, raising an eyebrow at the strange, pink clad oni that seemed intent on attacking him. "Really, darkling," he said, "it's good manners to introduce yourself before jumping a boil, don't you think?"
Perhaps this bouncy creature knew the way to the maul?

Smiling, she pulled out her phone and snapped a quick picture of the horseman. Facetomb. Still she had to pin him. And then mount him
And not tell Rage because he might get jealous.
And while Rage all angry was totally hott, she didn't want him MAD mad. This was a simple pony mounting after all.

"Ah, the quiet, yet aggressive type," Fai said, dodging again. "And what is it that you're trying to do? Perhaps you're anti horsemen?" he offered helpfully. He had no idea what he'd just done with the strange object in her hand. He was tempted to try and take a peek at it.
So he tried to move behind her and look.

Desu giggled at the suggestion she was anti-horseman. Not really. She thought they were rather pretty and fancy and funny looking and she really wanted to ride them when they were ponies.
As he spun around her, she huffed, aiming to pin him. When she missed, hands on her hips, the ghoul, glared at him, holding up the pin. It was game time.

"That is a very nice pin," Fai complimented her as he looked at it. "Oh, yes, I remember now! The game." And then, astonishingly enough, his grin widened, showing sharpened teeth. "I see, that explains everything. Shall we play, then? A mask can wait."
He shucked the top layer of his clothing, then another layer, leaving him relatively uncovered. Excess weight could slow you down, after all--and offered more areas for pinning.

Well.
Hrm.
The horseman was stripping. That was... odd. Blushing a bit at the show, she couldn't help but take a picture. Totes going on facetome. If just for her friends to 'like'.
Jumping at him again, she tried to shove the pin on his hair. Leaves. Things. Why did he have to be semi-naked?

He bounced on his feet twice, then dodged out of the way, moving faster than he had been. He dodged her easily, then came up behind her to try and look at the phone again. "What IS that thing, darkling? You seem quite attached."

"Fascinating," he said, distracted for a brief second before he remembered they were playing a game. This "phone" thing really intrigued him. She could make text appear on a small screen without writing anything! What other strange items like that did they have? How could they be used to make things easier for his research??

It really was fascinating, given Desu hardly thought about how the phone actually worked. She just used it to prevent her yelling.
