History: Peter grew up as an only child raised by his aunt and uncle after his parents were killed in a plane crash. Thankfully his guardians were wonderful people, very loving and did all they could to give their nephew the best life he could have despite things.

Growing up, it didn't take long to realise that Peter was smart or perhaps better labeled gifted with a genius level of intelligence; especially when it came to the sciences. Following the stereotypes he was also a nerd who loved comic books and video games and he was always the last to get picked for team sports because he just wasn't physically built for it. That also lead to being the favourite victim of the school jocks and their leader Flash Thompson who during early childhood used to actually be a friend of Pete's.

That was all destined to change in grade 9 when he went on a science field trip for school and was bit by that radioactive spider. He thought nothing of it at first but when he got home he started to feel odd and lay down to rest. When he awoke he was amazed to find he no longer needed glasses, his body looked as though he had been toning it at the gym for months and he could walk on walls... like a spider! There was more to it he learned as he experimented, learning that his reflexes and alertness were even improved and well the only thing missing was the ability to spin webs. Which he'd soon create using his incredible mind and science expertise.

He had all the makings of a super hero from his comic books but did he really want that life? Why not do something with his abilities that made money instead so he could afford new science equipment or heck.... a car. So he went looking into the underground fighting arenas and with a cheap red and blue track suit costume with a red ski mask, he used his powers to win the tournament as the Amazing Spider-man.

When the tournament was over however, he got jipped on the cash prize and as he left heard a guy robbing the booky for the prize money he refused to give Peter. Rather than being the better person and stopping the thief, he let him go as a cruel justice against the unfair booky. Unfortunately that would be the worst mistake he ever made.

When he went to where his aunt and uncle had agreed to pick him up, he fojnd an alarmed crowd and paramedics surrounding his dead aunt with his grieving uncle Ben at her side. Apparently that crook had tried to threaten them for the car and shot aunt May when she tried to approach the man and calm him down. It was then that Peter's life would change.

Filled with grief, rage and self disgust he ran from the seen and put his make shift costume back on. Taking to the air above the New York streets via his web shooters, he set out to bring that man to justice. He would have taken the man's life had he not thought right then of his guardians, how upset they'd be to know he could do such a thing and of course the advice his uncle always gave him about how great power must always come with great responsibility. And so on that night, the police discovered for the first time, the mark of Spider-man as the murderer was strung up by webs ready to be arrested.

Since that time Peter has tried to resume his normal life while grieving for the loss of his aunt and the occasional crime bust as the Amazing Spider - man. With few friends though it was a rough road until the day his school's ultimate hottie Felicia Hardy who happened to be partnered up with him as a chemistry lab partner. Sure at first it was strictly business as Pete was the brains of the school and he was used to being asked to tutor people but he couldn't help but dream that he could have a chance with the gorgeous blonde.

The few people he would call his friends; Harry Osborn, Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson all saw how much he liked her but Pete kept trying to insist it was just tutoring. Over time though the high school heart throb who was believed to only go for the most popular guys actually seemed to have a soft spot for the smarter, kinder guys that most made fun of and before Pete knew it, he had Felicia Hardy as a friend and his secret/not so secret crush.

This was also around the time the mysterious Black Cat started showing up around town, stealing from the rich and Spidey's spotlight in the daily bugle. When ever Spidey tracked her down though, luck always seemed to be against him and she was ever so flirty with him that he tended to find himself stunned and face first in the ground while she'd blow a kiss and dash away.

As the summer came and went, Spider-man competed for the spot light in the Daily Bugle as he was the bane of New York's worst versus the gorgeous Robin Hood M.O. style Black Cat who was quickly the bane of the rich and powerful. Mean while Peter Parker was spending a lot of time with that heart throb Felicia and by the time the new school year was approaching he finally asked her out... and she said yes.
