When dusk fell, it was usually the more responsible of the almost identical twins who sought out shelter first for the two, along with their other family, should they be in the vicinity. This time, it was Tipo's turn to find a place to stay for the night, but this brother... Well, he wanted to do some exploring. Ever since their father made it clear that he wanted to do some of that, or some specific exploring, this white and black leopard was interested in doing some of his own discoveries. With or without his best brother. This was just another night when he could roam and find something while his brother was preoccupied. It was a great idea, really! Tipo wouldn't even care half the time if he took long - he guessed that was the benefit of having a lax companion at his side and for a brother. They simply understood each other too well. Too bad some of the others had left; had they shared the same bond, perhaps they would all still be some sort of family. Despite their mother leaving and getting dumped on a less than nurturing father, they all managed to hang in tight with each other through their young years.
Black eyes looked towards the night sky, starting to fill with bright stars; his black dot wrinkled in tune with his eyes squinting, and he smiled at the darkening landscape. It had been very good weather lately - enough to make him jump for joy and yowl in similar ecstasy. In fact, it was a great idea!
With a sudden kick in his step, he loped down a grassy hill and yelled out, "Wahoooo!"
