 It was the middle of the day and Lakonale was fast asleep in the den that her family called home. Of course, she was always sleeping during the day. Night time was when she was up. Unfortunately for her, her siblings did not sleep during the day so she was often woken up by them to play. At the moment, things were peaceful for her. She was dreaming about a beautiful flying bug that flitted about while she chased it. At night she often chased bugs so it was no wonder she was dreaming about one. However, this bug was much prettier than any she had ever seen. Her paws twitched in her sleep each time she would try to catch it in her dream.

 It was just like Lakonale to be down and out for a pretend night in the middle of the day. Lakonale's silvery sister stared down at the blue form, raising a brow. Although she was pretty young in her years, she already knew from experience that Lakonale would not stir unless prompted by something abrupt. And maybe she knew how to exactly produce that effect!
Although she did not have a regular sleeping pattern, it was definitely not always on schedule like Lakonale's. She enjoyed sleep both at day and night, and it was also often enough that one of her siblings wanted to wake her up to play - and without good reason! She was one of the more sprightly cubs, and was always ready for play or hide and seek or another fun adventure.
However... through her persistent staring at Lakonale, she realized that her sister's paws were moving weirdly all of a sudden. She moved her head closer, allowing herself to breathe on Lakonale's face. Uh... She hoped she didn't need to get mom or something. Maybe Lakonale did this all the time and she hadn't been paying attention.
"Hey!!!" she said loudly but happily into Lakonale's face, mouth widening to expose a set of giddy teeth.
"Let's play, sleepy!" she cheered on, golden eyes locked onto her sister.

In her sleep, she had no idea that one of her sisters was watching her. In her dream, she was getting so close to catching the beautiful flying bug. Maybe catching it would give her a clue as to what it was. The wings made her think of a moth but she had never seen a moth this pretty. As she got closer to catching it up in her paws in her dream, her paws in real life were moving frantically.
Just as she was about to snap a wing between her paws, she heard a familiar voice quite loudly in her head. The dream disappeared to be replaced by Titi's mouth. She frowned and then swatted lazily at her sister's face. "I'm tryin' to sleep." A big yawn revealed her teeth as her tongue curled in her mouth. "No play." She groaned but there was a slight smile on her maw. If bothered enough, she would play because she loved her sister. It was hard to say no to persistence when it came to her family.

Titilayo jumped back when she was met with a swipe of the paws, dodging them successfully in time. Even though Lakonale was not willing, she was used to it. She wouldn't give up trying, though! How could Lakonale be so, so lazy in the face of fun possibilities? It was a perfect midday to do something that was just that - an adventure!
"Oh, alright!" Titilayo replied cheerfully to Lakonale's request.
She smiled, sitting down right next to her blue sister. She wondered... She just had to wait, because Lakonale usually came around sometime later. At least she could count on dependable sisters.
"I wonder what she was dreaming about..." she said aloud, perhaps some form of her consciously knowing Lakonale would hear that.
She continued sitting, staring at the very tired Lakonale. If not for the fact that she knew Lakonale was awake up until the early morning last night, Titilayo would have been very confused. But still... this was one midday that shouldn't be wasted!

Lakonale watched Titilayo with one eye open in a lazy manner. Her tail swished back and forth along the ground slowly. She really did want to go back to sleep but since she slept during the day, there was rarely time for her to play with her sister.
It was when Titilayo said something, as if she was thinking out loud, that made her perk up with some energy. She remembered exactly what she had been dreaming about. "It was a bug." She yawned again as she thought about it. "A flying one, really pretty, with pretty colors. I was gonna catch it till you woke me up." Her blue-green eyes looked at Ameh with accusation.
