Mjoll had paused in her work to stop by a board that had caught her attention, it was previously where the prom booth had been set up. The jewel crafter seemed pretty interested, "Letsee here....." Her eyes slowly moved down the list pausing finally when she found her name.
"Ah. Here we are..." There was a small tapping of her finger as she read the name. "Enzo. Sounds like a lovely name." She mused as she looked around, now the question would be, what would an Enzo look like?
The death horsemen was scanning the area curiously.

BAH-Dum, dum dum...
The young reaper was scuffed with dirt, something dark and oil scurrying about his skin as he made his way towards the board, hands thrust in his pockets as the monstrous upright-bass wheeling behind him "sang" casually. It seemed there were a few people at the board already, although many were already peeling away.
He tipped his cap up on his scruffy black hair as he considered the listing. Mjoll? Sounded foreign. Sounded fancy.

Mjoll paused as she watched a reaper, looking particularly dirty. Stroll up and look at the board, did his eyes just stop.... Mjoll looked a little taken a back by the dirt and oil.
While she knew work could be dirty..... well it was silly to walk around in the public looking like you just came from... Either way she smiled at the reaper and curiously she inquired, "Pardon me sir, Do you know an Enzo?" There was a moment where she was almost unsure if she wanted to know the answer.

The monkey-faced young man turned sharply at the voice before looking the horsewoman up and down critically. His eyes narrowed, before his expression lit up, grinning widly as he straightened. "You must be this Mjoll-doll, then, huh? Weeeeell, hey now! This blind-date thing aint too bad! Enzo, Enzo Valentino," He offered out a hand cheerfully.

Mjoll watched as Enzo looked her up and down. Was he securitizing her? Then his expression seemed to lighten. The horsewoman moved a stray hair from her face as she listened to him speak. Perhaps a little unorthodox but, maybe he would clean up rather nice?
She smiled uneasily at the offered hand. Taking it, not without hoping they were at least clean compared to the rest of him. "Ah, yes... I suppose this blind-date thing isn't.... that bad." She cleared her throat a little so she could 'properly' introduce herself. "Mjoll, Horsewoman of the death clan. It's a pleasure to meet you Enzo Valentino."
Keep thinking bright side honey, "Ah... what sort of... work do you do Mr. Valentino?" Best find out now, at least this way she could at least ease her troubled mind.

"Ooooh, a horse-woman, eh? I heard you was all endangered species now. Shame 'bout all that," As always, teh moment their hands clasped, the line of roaches abandoning ship scurried over his freckled arm to try to find refuge on her person.
"Me? Oooooh, a bit of this and that," He gave her a wink, finally letting go and giving his hand a shake to rid it of the excess vermin. "Good, solid work, this-and-that."

There was a look of horror as suddenly there were roaches scurrying over her arm. Shaking them off and trying not to panic at the sight of them. While she was a horsewoman there were things she still hated, and this included bugs not in their natural habitat. Which was clearly not her.
Needless to say she was a little freaked out. "Did you know you had roaches."
There was a small noise of disapproval as she listened. She was trying to be nice but she swore she still felt bugs crawling and she wasn't about to let them ruin her outfit. "Good, solid work, you say?" She was still trying to gauge how much she thought of him.
Her arms were crossed, as she watched him. "What sort of solid work? Do you craft things? Build machines?" The oil would lead her to believe perhaps machinery work, but she wasn't completely sure. So of course she was going to interrogate him until he told her.

"Hmmmm... let's just settle for yes. For the sake of both our buns, I'll leave it at that." Another wink and a shrug as he removed his cap to shake a few more roaches from his hair, "Eeeeh, they's better than the fleas. The rats try to eat somea'em but," He shrugged.
The upright bass behind him had continued it's bass-beat rhythm, and an oily, black-coated creature slipped out of his pant leg, wobbling towards it as though hypnotized. It swayed dangerously close.... and with a crunch, the bass's rhythm turned a bit more jolly as it chewed on it's snack.
"I'm also a musician, though that's more'a state o' being than a profession," He gave an illustrative, hep snap of his fingers. "So what color you wearin', doll-face?"

Mjoll frowned, and then an oily black creature appeared.... Oh holy horse heads. The jewel crafter wasn't sure what that was. "....What.... is that?" She asked pointing towards the creature.
There was another pause, rats? Okay she could deal with rats. Rats weren't bugs. "Ah a musician. It's an interesting way of life." It probably wasn't the best profession anyone could have since it was hard to produce anything to sale to people, unlike her craft.
There was a pause when he asked what color, "Black and charcoal, the dress may have some crystals sewn into it, but will definitely have fur trim. However, my accessories are going to be some sort of blue. Depends on what shade I find strikes my fancy." She answered promptly without having to think on it. She'd been working on this since she found out there was a prom. In between gathering things for her own living and work space.

Mjoll was looking a little, over whelmed she had a lot of work to do with not too many days till prom. She nodded as he explained that was his familiar. Though it probably also explained where all the oil came from.
The horseman frowned a bit. "Sooo..... uh, the oil's from boss?" She asked to make sure she had this right, "He... doesn't get that on others does he?"
A pause, "I mean.... my dress won't quite be washable. I-I would hate for a stain to get on it and not wash out, no offense to boss." She said offering another uneasy smile. She could deal with it, it'd just take a little bit, and maybe some bug repellant. "Do you have any ideas for a mask? " She asked curiously, maybe she could make him something nice. One to match hers? Of course Mjoll was thinking big.

"Oh, no no no. Save for some polish sometimes, he's clean, doll. Nah, I was just ah..." He coughed, "Doin' a bit of supplies gatherin'. On my way over here. Don't worry your pretty head none." He hooked his thumbs in his suspenders, giving her a wide smile, "Yeah, yeah, I think this'll work out great. I was thinkin' a rat mask would be appropriate? I'll see what I can scrounge up. Don't worry 'bout me, I got a great suit needs dustin' off. Very swingin'."

Well, Enzo seemed to be the type to try and allivate worries, which was a good thing. It helped Mjoll relax a little bit. When he said rat mask she tilted her head a bit, feathers ruffling. "Mm... rat... it seems... rather fitting."
Now if she meant in a good way or a bad way that was hard to tell. She nodded, "swingin' you say?" Mjoll was slowly becoming interested in the way he spoke and his mannerisms. Maybe if she figured out what made him tick she could at least be a little more comfortable with his... pets.
"So... what do you do for.... a swingin' time?" She seemed to be questioning her word choice a little but, "Surely gathering supplies, studying, and working isn't all you do."

Enzo raised an eyebrow up at her, smirking softly, "Studying. Right. Ahahaha, you're funny, kid. Where should I pick you up come Dance-time, then? You at that reserve place, right? Bit of a hike from school grounds. But it'd be the gent thing to do, I s'pose." The hat was returned to his head as he took another step back to get a better view of her as though examining his goods.

Mjoll paused as he called her a kid. "Mhhmmm..." Well apparently he didn't study, well that's okay.
She nodded, "I can ride up to the school." She answered, "I have my own mode of transportation. However, if you want to meet at the edge of the forest?" She had no qualms about using her mount to arrive at the school. After all a white horse was a nice mode of transportation.
