I've just been watching a video about the HD Collection. What...what is this...? I thought the voice acting and audio changes were the only problem--why did they make some of the changes they did?? gonk

I thought the voice acting and audio changes were the only problem--why did they make some of the changes they did?? gonk Because Konami hired an incompetent team to work on it, it wasn't just the audio they mutilated, SH3 didn't even get an option for originals, and the fog textures are messed up in SH2, showing things that were never meant to be seen because the fog helped it, certain audio bugs made it so some songs play at the wrong time, and from what I've heard for the ps3 audience, there is no patch in sight to make this playable. for SH3.

I thought the voice acting and audio changes were the only problem--why did they make some of the changes they did?? gonk Because Konami hired an incompetent team to work on it, it wasn't just the audio they mutilated, SH3 didn't even get an option for originals, and the fog textures are messed up in SH2, showing things that were never meant to be seen because the fog helped it, certain audio bugs made it so some songs play at the wrong time, and from what I've heard for the ps3 audience, there is no patch in sight to make this playable. for SH3. Yeah, the video I was watching had all kinds of examples with the fog to show, and they mentioned that the PS3 version of SH3 had a day-1 port and some crazy glitches. There also was this freaky thing with Maria's eye... gonk And, they didn't go into it, but another person told me that SH2 HD makes it more difficult to see what is happening at the critical point in the video tape, because part of it is cut off or something.

At least until they improve the product, now I'm not expecting them to be able to change the voices back to the original selections this late in the game here, but they should definitely do this properly. And I honestly don't see why they lacked the kindness of optional original voices for Silent Hill 3. :U

Ah, also the game doesn't require a gaming computer, it runs pretty well, Silent Hill 3 has posted no problems for me at all in Administrator mode, and the same with SH4, except I occasionally got a graphics glitch, but it wasn't bad other than that, the SH2 however.. That is a pain just to run without it crashing in game mode while livestreaming.
