It's been several days since Sasha's promotion and Rin had essentially been banished to her own room for the majority of it. In all honesty, she was quite frightened once the... awkwardness of their temporary situation faded.
Frightened but still lonely, her only neighbor's room was destroyed. Leaving her completely by herself back there. It was peaceful but haunting and reminded her far too much of her past. It was unsafe, even with Byr there for company. Her thoughts too many times drifted into more dangerous zones and she couldn't stand it any longer.
She grabbed what was left of her wits and marched out of her room and down the halls. Stopping only once she reached Sasha's door.
There was a hesitant knock and now her feet froze her in place. No more running, no more hiding, they were all adults here.

It was Jerry who answered the door, looking proudly male again and in need of a shave. The top half of his jumpsuit had been tied around his waist, up top in nothing but his undershirt as though 1. proud to have his old scarred and manly chest back and 2. he and Sasha had been about to do something about his stubble. "Oh... ah... Hi Rin. Um. What's up?"

Sasha appeared next to Jerry. She was dressed in one of her typical dresses and a pair of leggings, hair neatly braided and resting over her shoulder. Upon catching sight of Rin, Sasha seemed to purposefully place herself a little in front of Jerry - an almost imperceptibly defensive action.
"Hello, Rin," Sasha smiled - the gesture was earnest, and brightened her eyes - despite having placed herself between Jerry and the woman at the door.
"What's going on? Is everything okay?"

Rin actually backed up when she saw Jerry, almost concerned he might hit her again and she... just wasn't going to let him again. But not... fully concerned really. He was still a friend... right? She was hesitant to think that still... then suddenly Sasha and it made her blink. She tilted her head slightly to the side at Sasha.
It took her a while to settle back down, enough she smiled over at the two, "I just... it's been days. I guess I was hoping one of you would have... I dunno... I'm alone back at my room now... no neighbors, you see..."
She wasn't about to admit she was also somewhat frightened one of them would have visited her during that time. The smile turned rather awkward and nervous, "Would uh... one... or both of you be interested in doing something?... Like... later if you're busy right now."

"I guess," Jerry fidgeted nervously, stepping back in case Sasha wanted to invite her in, "We were just um. Going to tend to my stubble, and can I say how happy I am to HAVE stubble again to tend to? That was... ah... a rather horrible mission. Ahahahah. But we should definitely do something to celebrate Sasha's promotion, right?"
She was a friend. Just remind himself that.

Sasha glanced over her shoulder at Jerry with a gentle smile, canting her head as she looked thoughtfully in his direction. She turned her attention back to Rin, the smile growing slightly.
"Well, I think Jerry's beard can wait a bit. What did you have in mind? As long as Jerry doesn't mind waiting for his shave, I think we should all probably ah.. sit and chat."
Sasha cleared her throat. She hadn't been able to gather the courage to tell either Rin or Jerry that she'd decided to take a few days off on her own - perhaps this little visit would bolster her confidence. Sasha needed a little time away - especially after her promotion mission - and this lull in activity seemed like the perfect time.

Rin tried to smile over at Jerry, he was right - that s**t sucked but indeed warranted celebrating.
Then back at Sasha, "Sit and chat?..." was there a catch? "I... I guess I could do that, I'm allowed in, right?" Rin still looked uncertain. Even moooving over slightly to try and read Jerry's face for anything seething.

"It's not that bad," He laughed weakly, at least looking in better spirits to not be sporting breasts. Stepping aside, he moved to sit on his chair, pulling his jumpsuit back up and on. "Chat? About what?" He sounded uncertain and wary.

"Of course, of course, come in." Sasha tugged on the end of her braid, waving Rin in to the room. She gave her friend a pat on the shoulder in passing.
"Sorry the room is.. well, it's kind of a mess."
She gnawed on her lip, humming softly.
"I don't have anything to drink, but. If we don't want to stay here we can move to the cafeteria, or .. well, whatever." She cleared her throat and glanced at Jerry.
"I um. Well. I think we should all three discuss what happened ah. On the beach."

Rin shuffled inside and turned to close the door behind herself, "It's okay Sasha, if we're like... gunna talk - best we do it in for sure private, right?" like Jerry she also wondered about what, that was... until Sasha answered.
"Ah... yeah... congratulations?" a strange decoy as she wandered over to try and sit on the foot of Sasha's bed, she knew damn well what Sasha meant.

"What about the beach?" Jerry murmured carefully, picking up his ukulele to pluck at it like a sullen child distracting himself with a new toy.

Sasha didn't clarify which beach, because it truly didn't matter which beach. She'd done a lot of thinking, had calmed down quite a bit, and really wasn't in the mood to point fingers or single anyone out.
"All I want to say is that.. it's really important to me that you two get along."
She knew Jerry had his relationship insecurities - and she really couldn't blame him, after what had happened with Candace. Rin... well, Rin was a good friend. A dear friend. A friend who liked her - and Sasha didn't want to lose that friendship. At all.
"You both mean a lot to me - in different ways - and I want you both in my life, I just." She paused and shook her head.
"The things that happened, I understand that they probably wouldn't have happened if we were um. If we were feeling... ourselves. I just don't want them to happen again. Ever."

Rin heard Sasha out before finally speaking, "I don't either Sasha."
"You are both my friends, you both mean the world to me...," she turned her gaze on Jerry especially, "I'd be inconsolable losing either of you."
She meant it, she meant it with all that she is or ever was. She just liked them in somewhat... different ways too. But she'd still be there for both of them, and gladly consider their likes and dislikes. It was what made... coming back so hard but unavoidable.

Jerry had fallen quiet, concentrating on the instrument in his lap as he mulled it over.
What could he say about it? He knew now what Sasha was hedging at but Rin still seemed as clueless as ever. His lips pursed.

Sasha's lips formed a flat line as she watched Rin sit on the bed. She hadn't wanted to point fingers - a conversation with Jerry about his/her actions on the beach would be better done in private, truthfully - Sasha was growing mildly frustrated by the fact that Jerry felt like he had to act out in order to assert his dominance.
Sasha was also frustrated that Rin felt it was okay to give Sasha inappropriate glances here and there, even in front of Jerry. But what could she say to them that she hadn't said already? How much more disapproving could she get? What else could she say that could get her point across?
Sasha didn't know. She'd done a lot of thinking - thinking that hadn't required the use of her flute, the need for escape.
"I'm glad we're.. all. In agreement, I guess." Sasha moved towards the silent Jerry, resting her hand on his shoulder as he fussed with his flute. She cleared her throat.
"I'm taking a trip." Best to just. Get it out there, Sasha supposed.
