Hitilafu missed her cubs, but knew they were off making better lives for themselves. Knowing them had taught her more, and knowing what she was capable of, raising cubs on her own, made her stronger. She was happiest with them, and she wanted now, more than she ever had when she didn't know better, to have a proper family.
She was made for taking care of others, that much was abundantly clear to her. It made her happy, and that had always been the most important thing to her.
When she, and those around her, were happy.
Growing up, she'd had a very over bearing and very dangerous lion for a father, and though he had never hurt her and she knew he never would, he had hurt many others. Many others. So she was always trying to make him happy, so he wouldn't have to hurt others, so he wouldn't be so angry.
She was sitting under a tree, taking note of how very quiet it was around these parts. She would never find someone to help, someone to make happy, if there was no one around.
