Ivory didn't usually get visitors. In fact, she had never really invited anybody to come visit her apartment before. Which classically led to some jitters about whether or not it was clean enough, which then led to her rushing through and cleaning everything in her path. Now her home seemed to sparkle, but lost some of the "lived in" quality to it due to all of the last minute organization.

The lights were barely on, but they were on. The shades were closed up tightly at the windows, and in all honesty, from the outside of the second story, it seemed as if there was nobody home. It would seem as if Ivory preferred her privacy, which was part of the reason, but the other reason being that the outside light would hurt her eyes in her home environment.

The girl was seated upright upon a couch, gently tapping out a tune against her leg. She was nervous, truth be told. She didn't get house guests, so it was a bit nerve-wracking waiting for Yuri to arrive.

Upon her head sat a small cat-like creature. Her forepaws were playing with the toes on her hindlegs, wiggling them about in a cheery manner to the tune that Ivory-friend was playing now. She could easily sense Ivory-friend's agitation, but Opal actually had her own minor agitation to deal with.

Home was where Opal could be Opal. However, Ivory already told her that Yuri-friend and Repede-friend would be visiting, and that meant that Opal could not be Opal during that time. The mew already spent so much time as a ditto, so spending some of her time where she was usually allowed to be free of such a precaution was mildly irritating. However, it was important to Ivory-friend, and Ivory-friend promised to give her many treats to make up for it.

"I told him noon-time... Maybe I should have been more specific..."

There was a knock on the door, which caused the girl to stand up. The white mew seemed to perk up as well, her tail swaying from side to side a bit. Ivory smiled a bit before whispering out the command "Transform."

Obediently the white Pokemon started to glow, losing her solid shape and seeming to melt into a shapeless blob once more.

With her Pokemon once more in the proper guise, the girl meandered to her door. Holding in a deep breath in her chest, she opened the door, but kept the door in front of her while it swung open, essentially using it like a makeshift barrier. Yuri wouldn't be able to see her as she hid from the outside, but she politely uttered out from her hiding spot "Come in please, Yuri."

Once the man had slipped in, the girl carefully shut the door behind him. One might have thought it was like being in a haunted apartment or a horror movie in the makings. However the girl behind the door didn't look like she'd hurt a bug-type. For once she wasn't wearing her glasses, her true eye color finally being in view, masked by her pale eyelashes.

"Well hello Repede... I see you found me!". Ivory giggled slightly, reaching down to touch the blue hued scruff of fur on the top of his head.

Opal jiggled on her head a bit in an effort to get some attention.

"Oh goodness what was I thinking? Here, let's put you down!". The white haired girl pulled her Pokemon from her head and set her down on the ground.

The girl then straightened up and gestured to the couch. "Yuri you can feel free to sit down if you want. How are you doing? Is Repede doing okay since the League gathering?". The growlithe had taken some damage if she remembered correctly, much like Opal as well.

A black nose nudged her, and Opal easily leaned forward and gave the offending nose a squishy kiss from squishy ditto lips. However, she soon enough moved onto the chopsticks, and with a wiggly arm, prodded at the offending sticks meant to hold onto food. Curiously, she asked if they tasted good with a "Ditto dit dit ditto?"

There was a coffee table near the couch, which had the object Yuri brought set down on it now. Rather than take a seat on the couch with the man, she remained in place, seeming to take some things in. It was dark enough in the room for her to make out features to both the Growlithe and the man. It was easier to see that Yuri was not a woman now that she could make out some of the details to his face and his clothing. The Growlithe had a horrendously large scar sealing one eye shut. If she were to guess, that had been there the whole time, since Yuri wasn't fussing over his Pokemon suddenly being blind in one eye.

"I am glad he seems to be doing okay... that was really crazy what happened with that Absol... Opal is all better too..." Casually she brushed her bangs out of her eyes before asking "...are you hungry? I can maybe pull out some crackers to snack on if you want..." Even though her guests hadn't really answered, she was already spinning on the ball of her foot to go to the kitchen to go scramble up something edible.

The white blob poked at the sticks once more. Apparently the sticks tasted good. Without any hesitation or invitation, the Ditto rather suddenly opened her mouth wide, as if she was trying to mimic a hungry Magikarp. In an eager tone, she merely seemed to beg for a try with simple "Dit dit dit dit dit dit dit!"

Sounds could be heard from the kitchen as she managed to open the cabinets, pull out a box of crackers, pull out a plate and haphazardly lay the crackers on said plate. "...what? You didn't have to do that, Yuri! Um... thank you..." She slipped back out and set the crackers on the table next to the cake which hadn't really been there before. It technically had been there, but covered up.

"...um... so crackers and cake is on? Though... um... I guess I should get something to drink too... and maybe something to cut the cake with." Once more she fled to the kitchen, but as she was in there, she called out "That cake looks pretty... which shop did you get it at?"

Yey! Opal got to try Repede-friend's treat!

Except the moment it was offered and she closed her mouth on it, she tried to chew on the objects, only to find that they were really solid. Harder than she could chew on. Plus it tasted like wood. Wood was not a yummy treat in her opinion, so her mouth soon enough had turned into a seeming squiggle as she tried to decide whether or not these sticks were really worth the effort. Maybe if she could break the sticks a bit she could get to the good flavor. Too bad all she could do at the moment was gum the poor sticks to death.

A small clatter could be heard after he mentioned the fact that he had made the cake. Sounded like she had dropped the knife she had managed to get out.

"...What?!" At least she didn't sound like she had hurt herself, but she definitely had been caught by surprise. There was a rush of water, which hinted she was washing the knife. She soon enough came back out with two cans of generic brand soda and a butter knife. "Are... you sure you aren't a girl?" she asked playfully before setting the two cans of soda on the table. "...Anyways, you can pick which one you want... I drink both varieties... but I don't know if you would drink any of these at all..."

She snatched up a small cracker crumble and nibbled on it before kneeling down and starting to cut into the cake, fingers touching the edge of the frosting. "...I washed my hands earlier..." she uttered lightly as she proceeded to attempt cutting the cake into somewhat even slices.

If it was possible for the Ditto to "tilt her head," she was totally doing such at that very moment. Repede-friend had confused her. Rather than keep chewing on the wooden sticks, she soon enough was offering them back to the Growlithe, holding the two chopsticks like they were the tusks of a Walrein out of her mouth. All that talk of food and flavor had made the ditto hungry, and somewhere in her gelatinous body a gurgling sound escaped from what one could assume was her stomach. It was food time! Ivory friend would help!

The girl paused after one slice to point at her guest. "One... TMI, two, none of the guys I know can cook!" She didn't know many guys, but that wasn't the point. She then carefully leaned over the cake a bit so she could resume her cuts. Sadly, despite all of her effort, some slices were turning out larger than others.

Eventually she pulled out a slice of cake for herself and then took a bite. "...this... is much better than anything I can make..." She took another small bite, casually looking over the cake in her hands. When she finished that next bite, she looked to Yuri with a slightly embarrassing confession.

"I honestly have to buy everything premade actually..."

Before continuing on with her own cake slice, she mentioned "...I'm going to feel weird about eating the cake all by myself... you need to have some too! Appreciate the fruits of your own labors!" She already had felt horrid about being such a Swinub at the League gathering, but she didn't need to feel that way in her own home with a guest present.

The mention of Grand Ile caused her to look up towards the ceiling thoughtfully. "I think I might have heard of that place before... but I think that might have been mentioned in passing at some point out here in Kodo... What sort of place is it? Like, Goldenrod is a pretty buzzing city in all honesty, with a Game Corner, large department stores, the Radio Station, and we're near the National Park too! Is Grand Ile a big place?"

With her mouth free of chopsticks, the Ditto began to slinky on towards where Ivory-friend and Yuri-friend were already gathered. She literally stopped in front of Ivory-friend and opened her mouth wide expectantly.

With a giggle, the white haired girl poked a finger against her Pokemon's jelly-skin. "Oh... okay... I guess Opal is here to share food!" Tearing off a piece of cake, she then held it over the Pokemon's mouth.

"Say please!"

"DIT!"

With that simple exclamation, the girl dropped the bit of cake into the Pokemon's mouth. It was at about this time that Yuri spoke up about cooking.

"...um... I don't think that's such a good idea... me and measuring cups don't get along... or recipes... or anything that requires reading in all honesty..." Her cheeks easily flushed, since it was quite embarrassing to confess that sort of issue.
