What was she even supposed to do with this???
She'd gone to take a bath. A simple bath. Nothing special, just the daily rinse- and what did she find? Not one, but TWO kingyogiri were now floating in her bathtub. The original was easy to tell apart- it was still flipping around the edge of the pool like a fish out of water even though it was a cat.
Danny sighed and put the original into the bathtub, where it began to happily swim around with a lazy expression on its face. It was so awkward and spastic outside of the water, but in? Totally fine.
The other one was a problem though. She took a good look at it. Pretty much the same as the original, except when she took THIS ONE out of the water, it didn't flop around like a dying fish.
Well this was no good. She didn't have the time or effort to care for yet another minipet. She already had Tony, Tiff, G, Otso, Puppy (Ignis) and a few others floating around in her closet. There was hardly any space left! At the same time, she didn't want to shove it in the closet or give it to a shelter. She tried calling Rikki but he said something about not being able to keep such a fire-friendly pet. Hmm ... were there any other fiery people around Amity?
There was Jericho? She'd heard he'd stayed to his room mostly, but then so did Moure and a lot of Danny's other friends. It wasn't THAT weird. So she picked up the spare kingyogiri and went across campus to Jericho's dorm, where she promptly knocked on the door. Hopefully he wouldn't think this was weird ...

Jericho indeed was in his room as he was about ninety percent of the time as of late. When he heard the knocking at his door, he slowly looked up. He didn't hear an accompanying voice so he wasn't too certain who it was. Maybe it was Malodore. Pushing himself up to his feet from what remained of his treasure, he made his way to the door.
The person on the other side was not someone he expected to see. At all. Especially since it was someone he didn't really speak to.
"..Danny?" he blinked while tucking his wings back behind himself more tightly.
"Ah... is there something you need?" he asked. Maybe she had the wrong room.

The kingyogiri was beginning to get a bit fussy in her arms, and Danny was trying to juggle it as she stood there in his dorm. It was quite the figety thing! Then again, a lot of minipets didn't let being held for long amounts of time.
"Hey um. So I have this fishcat thing and Rikki said its too fiery for his dorm and I was wondering-"
She cut off mid-sentence because Danny spotted Jericho's hella sweet lava pool. Oh my Jack that was so cool. It was just like IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS DORM. Oh man how neat. Danny wanted one of those. Danny wanted seven. Could her dorm just be one big lava pool?
"Ahhhh neat!!" she said, stepping past him and into his room. "That's so cool!! I want a lava pool like that!!"

As she brought it up, Jericho glanced down at the mini in her hands. It was a bit of a fiery looking thing, but he soon paused as Danny's attention shifted to what was in his room... and she just walked right on in. Stunned for a moment, he quickly pressed his wings to his back as much as possible. He didn't want the grey to be seen.
"HEY! Don't just walk in like that!" he snarled while reaching out to grab Danny on the shoulder. He wasn't blowing up, but he wasn't exactly happy with her at the moment.

Luckily for Jericho, Danny was pretty much oblivious to all of his angry emotions except "hey stop." Which she got a lot quite frankly. Don't touch, don't taste, don't touch again. She was used to it.
She looked down at her feet and said, "Well I'm already in here ... should I walk back out?" Still smiling. Even if she did see the grey on his wings, she would've thought it was just a neat wing dye job or something. Could you even do that to wings?
The catfish wiggled once again in her arms and she said, "Oh! Hey right. So like d'you want this minipet?" She juggled the catfish again until it's cute little face could hit Jericho right in the feelings. "I have a lot of minipets and I can't really take more ... but I don't wanna just give it away or anything 'cause its really really really really cute." It even let out a little bubbly mew. Awwww.

Oh the nerve of this girl. Jericho was slightly reminded of his last major run in with her which had been almost a year ago. Breaking stuff and whatnot. Was she going to break something now? Oh she better not.
... Not that he had anything left worth breaking at this point.
There was still the thought though. And so he growled at her retort and just closed the door a little roughly.
"Minipets and us don't really mix right now. Chances are that it'll end up dead in the lava. Or just crushed. Or whatever."

Danny tilted her head. He was worried about lava? Did he not see this was a FIRELANDS kingyogiri? C'mon now.
"What? Don't even worry about lava. See watch." She promptly tossed the thing into the lava, where it happily began swimming in circles. Awww. More cute. "As for crushed ... I dunno I stepped on fishdude's tail once and he seems pretty okay." Danny was not Thackery when it came to minipets okay.
Like the obnoxious little kid she was, she asked, "Hey how come you say us? Like aren't you just one person. IS THERE MORE THAN ONE OF YOU???" Oh Jack that'd be cool. Attack of the Jericho Clones!!! They could make a movie!

That fixed the issue of death by lava, but if he got violent, he still wasn't sure if it'd end up surviving his temper. Jericho grimaced at the thought. He had already killed Gimbal, and probably a few pygmy dragons. The rest of his little dragon army had fled for their lives.
He didn't think on it for too long because soon she was questioning why he had used 'us' just now. Oh ******** style="color: crimson">"That's none of your business," he said gruffly, "There is only one here. But we want to use it. Problem?"
It was a lie. But he didn't want to delve into the root.

Danny shrugged. Okay. Well it was his choice. A weird choice, but Danny had heard weirder. Like Herryk always saying his name for everything. Whatevah whatevah.
"Nope no problem. You're kinda grumpy huh." Just pointing out a fact. Maybe he needed more sleep! "So yeah. Catfish? It looked pretty happy there ..."
It was busy diving down into the pull and bringing up little pebbles. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Jericho just snorted at the grumpy statement, then looked at the fire cat fish thing that was swimming in his lava pit. Yes, it looked happy there but he still didn't think that this was particularly a good idea. Hell, he might try to eat one of these days.

Danny was about to ask about the "us" again when she remember what Jericho had said five seconds before. Right! It was his choice.
"Oh c'mon, name one that's got a neat lava pool in his room," she pointed out, gesturing to said pool. "And look how happy he is!"
She smiled crookedly and said, "Besides you're not that dangerous Jericho! I mean you're like a big giant dragon and stuff, but I bet you're a reaaaal derpicorn under all those scales"

She had him there. Jericho actually wasn't sure if there were other students that had a lava pit. Well there probably was, but he didn't know who they were. Regarding the derpicorn comment, he let out a huff and a growl.
"Are you saying that we're stupid?" he snarled, taking that comment a little wrong.
Then again. She had said... derpicorn.

Danny shrugged. She didn't care much one way or another why minipets were named the way they were.
Ooh she had an idea! "Ooh what about Shehk? She could help you make sure you don't uh ... crush it. Or whatever. Right?" Say the worst thing at the worst possible time? CHECK.
