Story The Earth is an uninhabitable sphere now due to the carelessness of the Human race; it has been that way for over a century. The Human races has long since left it and colonized different planets, some inhabited by other species that they see as aliens and others completely desolate and void of life. Not all of these colonies have thrived or even succeeded, especially those on inhabited planets. Most of the colonies have failed and those that remain have no contact between each other, they don’t even know they aren’t alone.
Colony 13, an unlucky name and a very unlucky colony. It has been struggling ever since it was founded and the inhabitants of the planet have not made things any easier. 13 is a planet bathed in constant eternal night. A problem for the Humans but its inhabitants thrive. The inhabitants or aliens call themselves Vampyr which makes the colonists believe they are actually like the mythical Vampires of their lore. In all truth they are not. Vampyr look almost Human in appearance except for their luminous eyes that can be red, orange, yellow, black, grey, or any normal eye color, their extremely pale skin so pale you can see the blue veins under their skin, and their hair which is always white.
Tensions between these two races have always been high ever since the Humans’ spaceships landed on Nocturnal, which is what the Vampyr call their planet, but so far a war has yet to erupt; until now. The Humans have the better technology with guns and more. The Vampyr have medieval weapons but they have powers the Humans cannot begin to fathom. This war has only begun and which side will win depends on one thing; who can wipe out who. Either the Humans go home or they wipe out an entire race just so they can live. Who will win the war? Can it be ended without either race being destroyed? Can they both live in peace?Profile SkeletonName (first and last):

Name: Steve Hawkfire Sex: Male Age: 18 Race :Human Personality: Quiet, Loner type, Intelligent, Kind Apperance:  Weapon(s): a shotgun, and a sword that his grandfather used when he was younger being it was a family heirloom. Theme Song: None Background Steve had just arrive on this planet but he carry his grandfather sword with him in case he got attack by a vampyr but he wonder if he could really attack a living creature. Steve heard thing were not going well and there was going to be a war happening here, this made him sighed but he was ready if anything happen to him but he hope that this war would soon end.

Most of his training was done on computer simulations, but there was a few times that he had to keep one person from killing the other. His easy going nature kept him from just shooting both of them, even tho he was tempted to. He will only use force when he needs too.

She occasionally runs missions for the Vampyr but only ever her own terms. Why she lives alone and refuses to talk even to her own kind much lies in her past that she is reluctant to ever mention. She's been on her own since the humans landed on her planet when she was five.

(We can get started now if everyone is ready. I shall start.) Kali was lurking in the underbrush of the thick woods, hunting her prey. In this case her prey was not food but a group of Human soldiers trecking through the woods for an ambush on the safe house she was currently staying at. If a few of the ones she killed were eaten then so be it, she was hungry after all and food was scarce because of the Humans hunting it all. Kali smiled at the thought of sinking her pointed teeth into the pathetic Humans. It scared the heck out of them and worked to make them run for home, screaming about some mythical creature called a Vampire. Of course that's not what Kali's race was but she was closer to that mythical race than any of the others being that she would eat Humans if given the chance.

Steve was exploring around the camp site where a groups had landed, he really thought this place was beautiful and really couldn't believe they were now at war with the Vampry race who live here. The was a forest nearby the camp site but the leader of the camp asked people not to go to far so if anything happened they could defended themselves, Steve just couldn't help it. Being it he was bored just sitting there doing nothing and he had his weapons if something happen to him. Steve went into the forest but notice some deer-like creatures roaming around but they were spooked when they heard him and jump away, Steve continue to roam through the forest.

Kane was sitting up on a hill just outside the camp. He knew that he shouldn't go too far from the camp, but there was just too many people around and too much noise. He was looking through his scope at movements in the woods. There was a lot of plant life in the way, but he could pick up on animals well enough. He let out a small sigh when he noticed a lone man walking and spooking animals. He slowly rose to his feet and started to walk down the hill.

Kalika heard a human crashing through the woods. She knew it was a human because of all the noise. No Vampyr would make that much noise. Carefully she went to inspect what the cause of all the noise was.

Steve continue to go deeper in the forest but to make sure he didn't get lost he took out the sword that his grandfather gave him, it was a normal style broadsword near the handle of the sword one of the wing wasn't there and the sword had many nick from being used in battle a lot and started using it by gently slashing the bark of the tree when he went past one. He just couldn't understand why neither side could work out there problem and not started this war but as he walk he heard a cry of something, wondering what it was Steve ran as fast as he could to found what crying. When he got to the spot he notice what it was, it looked like a small cat-like creature which was black and green in color, it right rear leg was caught in a bear trap that human used to caught animal they were going to eat. The first thing it did when it seen Steve was hiss at him but Steve wasn't going to leave it there, he used the sword and cut off a piece of his right sleeve so he could wrap the leg that was wounded by the bear trap but the next thing that needed to be done was getting the animal out without getting caught in the bear trap himself. Steve move quickly to the trap but this made the cat-like creature more scared as it try sound louder with it hissing, Steve understood what it was trying to do but he couldn't leave it there so he open the bear trap carefully. Once the cat-like creature was free it let the jaws on the bear trap snap close but the cat-like creature leg was worsted then he know being it didn't move very far due to it leg. Steve didn't think this creature would survive like it was now so as best as he could he pick it up from the arms into it arms, while it squirm and struggle as hard as it could it never left Steve's arms but it claws did slashes Steve arms some being the head was to high for it to bite Steve's arms. Steve notice that it was getting dark outside so he try to find they way he came but before he could get very far a woman appears right in front of him, by what she looked like she was a vampyr but Steve for now didn't care about her he was more worry about the cat-like creature in his arms so he try to see if he could walk past her.

Kane moved through the woods quietly. While he was quieter than most humans, but he was louder than the vampyrs. Pushing the leaves aside and stepping over sticks he made his way close to the sound of an animal that was wounded. He reasoned that the adventurous man would be there. Since he landed on this planet, he always made sure to have a bullet in the camber. It was just in case he had to. He crouched down at the edge of the small opening were the two beings were meeting.

Kalika stared at the man with the animal. "What are you doing," she asked aloud, not something Vampyr did. "That is a caneus."

Steve spoke but it was very quiet like he didn't like to speak much, "This Caneus was hurt by a bear trap so I decided to try to take care of it until it leg heal." Steve eyes were focus on the Caneus but his eyes showed some fear and sadness. "May I go now," being Steve knew the first aid was at camp and he figure the wound on the Caneus right rear leg needed to be treated immediately.

Kane took a few steps out of the brushes. He was simply making his presence known. He kept his rifle pointed at the ground, but he could easily bring it up in half a second. "You should've stayed with the camp." He said slowly.

Steve nodded when that other human said that but it seem like she wasn't ready to attack them so he decided to back to camp now carrying the sleeping Caneus in his arm to treat it. He was bit surprised at her being she had the best chance to kill him since he couldn't grab his sword that was sheath or the shotgun he had on his back near his sword. He notice that she narrow her eyes at them and those eyes had show hated which made him nervous but now that it was dark this forest was hard to see where he was going so getting to camp might not be easy for him.
