Prom.

The thought was simultaneously thrilling and terrifying. Anna loved dances and things! At least in theory - but at the last dance she had ended up screaming and throwing cake at people, some of whom she still hadn't apologized to. But this was a big fancy event! The biggest of the whole year! Possibly the fanciest!

She had to try. Just somehow. And she wasn't going to go alone this time.

Anna wasn't sure if Sura and Chaya used phones, so the two other ghouls would find a note shoved under their doors:



And she, herself, arrived a bit before pumpkin noon, securing herself a table and a tray of food, though she mostly pushed it around the plate with the spork rather than eating it. Shibey perched on the table next to her, observing the gradual swirl of her meal with vague interest.

Sura didn't use phones, she destroyed them. So it was probably for the better that the note was shoved underneath her door. Yorda had found it and with some great interest toted it about. The kits tried to play at it as well, but Sura had eventually wrangled it from them, sitting cross-legged on her floor (as there was no bed in her room) to read it slowly.

'Maybe do something fun'? Was this one of those 'do stuff with your friends' sort of things? Because if so, Sura was highly interested, even if her face didn't say very much otherwise. She'd made sure to pin the note by her door so she wouldn't forget the time and day to go meet Anna in the Creepateria.

That might have been the only reason why Sura showed up on time, scratching at the armor that was growing on her shoulder with some irritation. It itched, and while she knew that eventually that growing-pain would go away, it still made her want to scratch until it was raw. She managed to force herself to stop by the time she got to the table where Anna and Chaya were, however, leaving only irritated red marks around the stoney growths.

"Hello, Anna, Chaya." Sura greeted, her tone as calm and level as it always was, carefully settling into a seat and curling her tail up into her lap to keep it from swinging around and possibly dislodging another student from their own seat. Unlike Chaya, Sura was not mannered in the way of Lunch dates. She had, however, grabbed a tray of something very suspicious looking.

But for some reason that was what her torrent of an angry gut had wanted. Part of it was telling her to actually eat the tray too, but it wasn't nice to destroy property.

"Sura, your shoulder got hurt!" Chaya exclaimed, and promptly stood up on the chair to get tall enough to get a better look at the raw red scratches around the armor. "Did you fight somebody? If you fought somebody did you win?"

"Ooh... that's growing?" Anna was fascinated, and finally lifted her gaze from Chaya's juice box to her friend again. "It looks like it hurts, though," she added, sympathetically.

"Oh! Um... so, uh, I called you here because... because of this!" Anna quickly pulled a folded flyer out of her pocket and spread it out on the table. "Prom! It's a party, a dance kind of thing... sometimes people go with romantic dates, you know, but I'd, um. Really like to go with the two of you? If you want to?" she asked, a little shyly.
