My nan died about a month ago now, and she was cremated. At present, her ashes are on top of the piano, but we're placing her ashes next to her mum's grave on the 30th, or the 1st, I think.
My prayer request is this: could you please pray for my step-grandad Bernard, as she was his second wife to have passed away, and I know they were much closer than they appeared and that her death has totally stranded him. Could you also pray for my dad, who was affected him SO much more than he thought. In general, could you keep my family in your prayers because the mourning situation is a little awkward. None of us really expected to be mourning her, and I still haven't, really, because none of us have the inclination. Could you pray that we'd all find peace with her death in some way?
And also for my dad's sister, Jan, because she and her partner Billy aren't Christians; they're very new age, they don't have any kids, and I know they're feeling a bit lost at the moment, including the grief.
