The coat was finished. Egg shell while, Floresce Gold trim, the symbol had been changed from a moon to a pumpkin. A bit more of a gothic for the town, but otherwise, it looked just like the real thing. His wings needed holes but once those were put in, Israfel was pleased with himself. Granted that some people might be mad that he had made a coat that looked like those of hunters, he thought it was a brilliant idea. After all, to not wear it was to show a fear of it, a hate. Take what your enemy used for yourself, wasn’t that how it worked? Still, it was a good day to show his new outfit off. Coat done, he had his ruffled shirt, fitted pants with wave embroidery, and the knee high lattice sandals in blue. It came together all a bit well in his option, especially when he put up his hair. Walking out around the campus, he held up his phone debating talking a few photos of himself. Totally needed to post it on facetome.

Of all days, today was the day that Belladonna's sewing machine officially decided to quit. Today, of course, her sewing machine figured it was a good idea to let all the thread clog it heavily. And that the button hole option froze up. There was also the foot pedal that had begun to freeze up or speed forward without regard to the pressure put to it. Two needles had been lost, her skirt was only half done and Mort's shirt still needed button holes. There was too much to do and not enough time to deal with machines going on the fritz. "Its not like I have Prom coming up or anything. Seven Hells, no!" Thus, with all that to spur the witch on, Belladonna elected to run at a moderate pace across campus to the home eekonomics room to use their sewing machines. With a bag full of half-finished prom clothing clutched to her chest, the witch was more than prepared to finish all this in time for the exciting event. She was not, however, prepared to deal with the Hunter on her campus. A small squeak escaped her as she slid to a halt, a bit of dirt kicked up by her heels. Tense hands nearly crushed the bag to her chest, but another moment to stare at the Hunter revealed that it... Wasn't a Hunter? Most Hunters didn't have wings or pretty hair and... Oh Hecate, that was a student. The witch could not suppress the groan, but she was able to suppress a grimace as she trotted over to the student. Their coat was too obviously inspired by the Hunters to be an accident, but she couldn't immediately think that they were doing it to be rude... There had to be more to the story. And as a vastly curious creature, Belladonna sought to find out. "Excuse me! Oh, excuse me! You there! With the feathers and the coat!" The witch waved at the creature as she caught up to them and slowed her trot as she drew closer. Hecate, he sure looked familiar... Was that... Isafrel? Isa... Isa-something. She'd had a class or two with the fabulous boil, hadn't she?!

Did he think the coat was a bad idea? Part of him knew yes, it was like painting a target on his back, but did he care? Not enough to take it off. He was not that afraid of what might befall him. He'd seen worse on field trips after all. Hopping up on a low branch to look across the area, the sound of a ghoul came from behind, blue eyes looking back. The dress and hat were familiar... but where? A small frown as he thought before he grinned. "Belladona yes?' Legs hanging down, wings folded neatly behind him, covering the symbol on the coat. "Yes? It's been a while since I've seen you. I trust you have been doing well? You're looking as good as ever by the way."

The fact that he took a tree nearly startled the witch into not bothering, but instead it gave her a better vantage point in which to view his jacket. In all honesty, besides its unfortunate resemblance to Hunter's wear, it was a lovely thing. Wonderfully crafted with expert care and it suited him flawlessly. Vaguely she wondered if he had made it himself, but he addressed her before she could think anymore on it. "Yes! Yes, Belladonna, that's me. You're..." She gave a small smile as the words formed on their own. "Israfel! So good to see you again!"Oh thank Hecate. That would have been awwkwaaarrrdddd.Initially just wanting to get right down to the meat of her inquiry, Belladonna was instead derailed by the compliment. Her question died on her tongue as a light blush flushed her cheeks and the witch couldn't help the little bounce onto her toes. "Yes! I've been marvelous, and thank you. That's so kind. You look absolutely lovely." Her reply was all hand flutters and smiles, almost to the point that she had forgotten what she had stopped him for. But that gold trim set against white glared at her and after another small bounce, Belladonna shifted the bag in her hands. "Might I inquire after your coat... Its just... So unusual."That was the safe way to begin, the way that wouldn't immediately offend and certainly gave him the benefit of the doubt. Because after all, he was Halloween. Surely there was a reason behind all this.

Trees we to Israfel what benches were for others. Simply nice places to rest for a while and take in the sights. But unlike benches, tree could hide you, though at that moment Israfel very much did not want to be hidden. "Ah, that is good. It's been so long and with my mind fully whole it's a bit hard to filter what I thought and what actually was at times. All very muddled, memories." He knew they could o the trance thing if they went to the horsemen, but after the last time? Israfel was a bit against that. Not to mention he hardly wanted to relive Desidero again. Accident or intended, the vampire had unsettled the siren, and put thoughts in his head that he was rather against. Power was not something the siren wanted, but other things? The other things just confused him. Smiling he motioned to her again. "It's not kindness, it's truth. I am not a fan of lies and it gains me nothing to mislead you. But yes, my coat." Pulling it, the pumpkin emblem was glittering even in the shadow of the tree's branches. "Well, fashion has historically been about challenging the way people see fashion, about what we think is acceptable. And on a different note, when we are afraid of something we often take it and try to make it our own so-" Hopping down, the golden callar was popped up, wings buffering Israfel's landing. "I have taken that which most fear and turned it into fashion. I am challenging the unspoken rules and being avant-garde. This is my lastest at such words. I plan to make purses that resemble their weapons rather shortly." Israfel might be sane now, but he was still a touch reckless with his personal well being.

...Mind fully whole? Unfortunately, for the poor witch, Belladonna had absolutely no idea what Idrafel was going on about. She hadn't heard of anything that had happened to him, so she only blinked slowly at his mention of his muddled memories. Perhaps if he had mentioned the Trance, she might have been a bit more able to chat on the subject. After all, they could bond over their shared temporary inhabitation of vampires! In any regard, Belladonna only nodded to him. There seemed nothing she could think of to say in reply, but she didn't have to wait long before he began talking again and thus gave her another chance. When he pulled on his coat, Belladonna took a tentative step forward to better see it, but then he began to descend and she quickly scuttled backwards. "How absolutely avant-garde..." She managed as he landed and she retraced her steps so that she could better inspect his garment. It really was a lovely thing, however... Tragic in its association. "Well, its a masterful work of fashion. I do so hope others find it as fascinating as I do..."And it really was fascinating. Perhaps, not exactly Belladonna's cup of tea, but fascinating nonetheless. The idea of weapon-purses sounded extremely tempting, but the witch was just a little too cowardly to inquire after them. Though, really... There was one more thing she was curious over. "I never noticed the design work on their coats were so extensive... You must have seen them quite often..." Purely meant as a compliment, Belladonna inspected his filigree pumpkin once more before she stood up straight, her eyebrows lifted in curiosity.

Compliments were like cookies, you could never have too many and if you got sick of them, you'd still want more. Only with compliments you wouldn't get fat, so they were a bit better than cookies really. the coat was a coat and to Israfel, if people got mad, they had issues that were far larger than fashion. Fashion was an art and art challenged the way people viewed things. He was uncaring to the hunter scare some had. He was Israfel, he does what he wants. "I try to keep everything I make high quality. There is no sense to it if it's looking ugly, poorly made. I mean I don't want to look bad or give myself a bad name you know." He still had to break it into the fashion world after all. Motioning to join him on a nearby bench, the siren went on. "I see them often enough, some are more violent than others, some are more open to discussion. They are not as one sided as many think they are."
