♦james franco because he is a really intense and versatile actor... and every time he smiles, i melt x394082312. i really loved him in everything i've seen him in, especially freaks and geeks. plus, hello? he's a smart cookie. got his PhD in journalism or something. ♥ ♥ ♥ also, he was great as harry in spider-man. my art teacher says she knows his grandma, o m g.
♦emma watson because she's hermione! she's badass... as a human and an actor.
♦winona ryder because she's a very unique actor that plays very unorthodox parts, like in beetlejuice and girl, interrupted.
♦leonardo dicaprio. there, i said it. brilliant. who doesn't love leonardo? sorry but not sorry, i fell in love with him in titanic and romeo + juliet, and movies like revolutionary road floored me.
♦joseph gordon-levitt because he's so cute. >w< he usually plays very similar roles (like from 50/50 to (500) days of summer), but i find him so endearing i can't help it. looking forward to seeing him in the dark knight rises!
i am likely to add more later, but these are the actors that i think of first.

Forgive if my reasons for liking these actors/actresses aren't that detailed, I can't fully explain why I like certain performers.
Helen Boham-Carter - she's an amazing actresswho excels in whatever role she plays.
Betty White - she's a funny, amazing old gal. She's done great charity work.
Mariska Hargiay - she plays Olivia Benson on L&O:SVU, nuff' said.
Morgan Freeman - he's an excellent actor, he can take whatever role he's playing and make it his own.
I've got plenty others, but I think these aremy top 4

Misha Collins because he's amazing and handsome and he plays so many various roles, and he does it well, and he's just a really swell guy. ♥ [Castiel - Supernatural, Paul Bernardo - Karla]
Natalie Portman because she's ******** amazing and gorgeous and super smart and a wonderful actress who doesn't fall into certain roles. And, have you seen her in Black Swan? Ugh~ ♥ [Novalee Nation - Where the Heart is, Evey Hammond - V for Vendetta, Molly Mahoney- Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Nina Sayers - Black Swan]
Doug Jones because he's simply amazing. He mostly works under prosthetics and makeup, but he's been in tons of movies. I can't even name all my favorites because it would take up too much space, so I'll just link you to his article on wikipedia. Needless to say, he is an amazing man, a contortionist, and he's gorgeous.
Javier Botet because, honestly, he has marfan's syndrome and I find it horrifically gorgeous, and he plays a movie monster super well. I can't find a list of his filmography, but he played the possessed, evil girl in REC [and it's sequels]. If you don't know what REC is, it's the original form of Quarantine. Quarantine 'remade' REC, nearly shot for shot. I can't tell you any of his other movies, but look him up on google, he is incredibly handsome~ ♥

Johnny Depp. Call it a fan girl crush, if you must. In my opinion, he is a darn good actor, to the point of me not recognizing him from movie to movie. Althought the pirate movies sort of lingered on him, in his movements, his face. That was a dispointment.
Steve Carrell. Because he can say something pathetic, ridiculous, depressing, what have you, and still some how make it funny just by using his face. I think he has some sort of secret eyebrow technique, combined with a natural impression of being clueless. Its a beauitful thing.
Whoever plays Captain America. Why? Because I'm in love with the character, enough said.
I'm also a fan of Emma Watson, but mostly because I think she is gorgeous. I had a hard time understanding a word she said in the Harry Potter movies because I was too busy having wild fantasies about kidnapping her and marrying her and so forth. I'm kind of a crazy stalker type. Anyway, she's a good actress, last time I noticed. At least, a very appropriate Hermione. She did the character great justice.
Hrrrmm... I'm sure there are more. I'm a theatre geek. I just can't think of names this early in the morning.

I'm talking about the admiration of the real people surrounding the actor/actresses themselves. I can appreciate great acting, its an art to really pull it off. I suppose I just didn't say it correctly. ^^;
